Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day: Dress Up in Cow Attire = FREE Meal or Entree (July 13th)
It’s back! Did you know that July 13th is Cow Appreciation Day?! In celebration of Cow Appreciation Day, Chick-fil-A will award a FREE combo meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) to any customer who comes to one of the chain’s 1,200-plus restaurants fully dressed from head to hoof as a cow. Chick-fil-A will award a FREE entree to customers partially dressed in cow attire, such as a cow-spotted scarf, purse, hat or other accessory. Decision of what qualifies as fully-dressed versus partially-dressed is at the discretion of the restaurant Operator.
The gang all dressed up last year on the Hip2Help Tour ๐
Need some inspiration for a cow costume? Check out these ideas from Chick-fil-A…
* Start with items that you already have at home – cow- printed accessories stashed in your closet will work perfectly. Hats, vests, scarves, neckties, pants, shoes, pajamas – just abut any cow-spotted item will work. Just make sure you’re covered head to toe!
* Wear white, and then just add spots. Throw on a white T-shirt with white pants (even sweatpants) and stick on your spots using black contact paper. If contact paper is not easily accessible, you can cut spots out of construction paper and tape them to your shirt and pants. If nothing else, you can grab an old white T-shirt and color black spots all over it with a magic marker.
* Go to your local paint or hardware store and get a white painter’s hat and overalls. And then decorate yourself with spots made out of contact or construction paper.
* Make your own costume using the printable cow pieces and parts found here
(Thanks, Roy and for the photos, Tina!)
I love this day! We just used Chick-fil-a’s printable, which was so easy and just taped spots to our shoes as well, and they counted it as a full outfit (though we did wear the nose and ears, at least while we ordered). Very fun and great way to get free food!
Ha ha that was such fun.. We are going to go again this year. Yes, I will be a COW again.. isn’t it cowmazing??? FUN FUN!
I’m not sure. my local chick fil a was on tv recently because they failed a health inspection. roaches in the kitchen too many of them. I’m getting chick fil a a rest for now.
Not really worth dressing up like a cow. . . .
Dont think so either ๐
my son has been talking about this for a few weeks. I wont be dressing up but he is set on it. I plan on buying a white t and paint black spots on it. Maybe paint his nose
So…….if I head over with my 5 kids all in spots and possible noses and ears, we all can eat free at the mall? ๐ Free food is awesome with my hungry kids ๐
Yes! We did it last year. It was a blast!
I work at a daycare, and believe it or not the local Chick-Fil-A calls us every year and asks us to bring our kids (I think all the CFA’s get reimbursed by corporate). They even give us cow hats and spot stickers to help dress the kids up beforehand. It’s kind of crazy, but it’s free food and since I’m with about 10 other adults and about 60 children, I don’t feel so goofy wearing cow attire.
Sadly this company is a major contributor to anti equality campaigns.
Yeah…I’m not interested in supporting a company that has spent millions of dollars trying to strip my friends & family of their rights. I’ve also known several people to get sick after eating at the one near us. Double no thanks!
My family loves it!! We saved our homemade costumes from last year. It is a lot of fun!! Love how Chick-fil-a has family fun events. It is totally worth it =)
Chic fil a goes over a beyond what other fast food company do for the community when in need and It’s a great time for the family. We make it a big family day it’s fun .
