JCPenney recently announced that they’ll be offering up FREE haircuts for kids (grades K-6th) for the entire month of August at every JCPenney salon across the USA! How cool is that?! 😀 Just be sure to call or visit your local JCP Salon now to schedule an appointment for August. I am guessing these slots will fill up fast!

I just called and they asked me if I wanted to make 2 appointments for her. Apparentally, they are doing two for each appointment. I said no and that I would save that time for someone else. That just seemed odd to me.
Sorry, I should have noted that she said they are all taking appointments for the first and scheduling their second appointment right before school starts.
I called to make an appointment for my 5 year old and the woman I spoke to said that if I scheduled the appointment for August 1st that I could schedule a second appointment at the end of the month for free also. They were trying to meet a goal of 1 million haircuts the 1st day of the promo. My son usually needs a haircut every 3 to 4 weeks anyway so this worked for me. I mentioned that I have a 2 year old and she said that she could approve him for a free haircut also.
it’s much easier to cut your kids hair yourselves because those places don’t clean the hair off the kids face,ears, necklines and that leaves them itchy until they get their bath. I cut all three of my kids hair and plus the dog too 🙂
Lol! I’ve tried for several years to cut my kids’s hair, and we’re all nothing but frustrated when it’s finally over. If you have tips to get a 5 yr old and 3 yr old to sit still and cooperate, then share! I’ve tried everything!! I’m all about a free haircut!
I promise my boys a hot wheel car if they hold as still as a statue. They get to pick them out before the haircut and open them after the haircut. It’s helped tons.
I TOTALLY AGREE!!!! If you have boys, like i do, then you are off scott free, as you can just buy a wahl and learn how to do the basic cuts that you normally pay $12-$15 for every 2weeks! i save at least $144-$180 a year per kid! it is SOOOO WORTH IT!
I just called my local salon & they are gonna let me bring my 3 & 1/2 y/o triplet girls in for haircuts with their “big brother” who’s going to K this year!!! AWESOME!!
