If you’re not a MaxPerk member, no worries…head over here to sign up or sign up at your local OfficeMax store or by calling 1-866-MAXPERKS. The MaxPerks program is open to teachers and businesses. However, ANY one is eligible for a MaxPerk’s business membership… you do NOT have to own a business to choose this option (I did verify this fact and was told by customer service that it was completely fine to sign up for a business membership even as a stay-at-home mom). How cool is that?!

Can you use the $5 off $25 on the things you get rewards for? I can’t really see the fine print on the coupon.
i don’t think so, it says not valid on officemax customer perks…
My Office Max lets all teachers (with school ID or show your Teacher Max Rewards Card) double the stated limits. π If you are a teacher, make sure you ask if your store does this too. π If the cashier doesn’t know, as the manager. π
I love Office Max!! I had a coupon for $10/50 (competitor) and it wouldn’t work so they gave me a $15/50 instead! With that and my $50 in Max Perks (from a previous;y purchased chair) we were able to get all 3 kids school supplies FREE!!! <3
is it just me or are the back to school sales not as good this year? i only have office max and office depot so i can’t speak for staples, but i haven’t seen penny notebooks like last year at OM! or have the sales just begun? mwahaha π

I don’t usually shop here. we don’t have one by our house. last week I ordered online to take advantage of the awesome max perks. I have a couple questions if you guys don’t mind…
How long does it take for perks to kick in?
Is the recycle program better here or Office Depot? (my son has a tournament in Hoffman Estates today and we pass a OM so I’m going to pop in) π
Thanks
There is a 100% free after rebate item online for reward card holders. It’s an portable file organization system. It’s called the [IN]PLACE SYSTEM Organization Kit – Deluxe Edition, limit 2, 7% Plus back thru SHOPATHOME. It’s perfect for me to help organize my coupons because I don’t keep a traditional coupon binder…I use a file folder for each store to hold coupons I know I will use specifically at that store, plus generic files (food items, personal care, misc coupons, etc) and envelopes for each week at each store. I do it this way because I have far too many inserts to clip, so I just keep them in a comic storage box (perfect fit!) and cut them as I need them. This method works so much better for me than the traditional binder did AND this freebie file system will be great for how I clip coupons!
My sales were very different, but I got 30 pencils, 3 packs of pens, and 1pack of filler paper for $1.25. Now that I read the comments, I will use my teacher ID to get more products with limits next week OM is cloe to me, Staples isn’t so I am happy to get a few great deals every week and stock up for my classroom.
Teachers = each store is different so ask your manager, but I went on the last day of the sale and was able to get 25 of each of the specials for the week. At .01, .10 or .25 it can really make a difference and it was all done in one transaction so I only had to have the $5min once. My manager said that as long as it was the last day of the sale and they still had a large amount left she was happy to help.
That is great good to know
