Amazon wants to access your FB account when you are offline. Ummm…. no. Thanks anyway Collin.

Just did this. I used my FB account that I have just for Sweeps.

      I like that Idea!!

  3. Cindy

I signed up, said my next song would be a nickel – they charged me .99¢ and charged my Visa, not my music credits. I went into chat and they refunded my .99¢ and told me there are technical issues with the .05¢ credit working.

I got charged 1.29 and it didn’t use my credit either. It charged my card. Where did you find the live chat help? I cant find it anywhere!

      • jennifer

I found the chat eventually by going to the contact us button at the bottom of the page

        • Caramia

i just noticed a couple of days ago that credits or gift card monies are no longer used automatically now i have to be very carful to make sure i click the gift card option GRRR… oh well!!!

      • CIndy

You poke around in your orders… click on an order and scroll to the bottom to HELP and you’ll find it there

  4. Janell

You can remove the app right after you claim it..I did. Thanks Collin!

I also got charged the full $1.29, and when I checked their facebook page, the same thing is happening to many others. There’s a link on the facebook page to request the refund, but if I were you, I’d wait a couple of hours and maybe it will be corrected!

    • Sami

Is that the Amazon facebook or the Amazon promotion facebook page?

    • Alissa

I got 1 song for $0.05 but then the rest i bought with my MP3 Credits were full price 🙁 Oh well maybe try contacting them?

      • Mika

You’re only suppose to get 1 song for $0.05. So it did work for you.

  6. Heather

Check Pending payments under gift card balance and it says $0.05

  7. Rae

I thought the order went through right but I wanted to make sure after reading the above comments so I looked and it showed that my cc was used to pay but the total was $0 charged and it actually didn’t charge my card it charged my MP3 credits. I chat with the help to double check everything was right and it was.
I am pretty sure it lists your cc because it is your primary form of payment but if the deal is working correctly it doesn’t charge your card.

  8. Kitty

It worked for me! Took 5 cents off my MP3 credits. It says you can only get 1 song for this price FYI

  9. Glenarden

Where do you find your MP3 credits?

  10. Glenarden

    Kitty, thank you so much!

  11. md593838

yea it took 5cents from my mp3 credit balence

  12. Sarah

I downloaded Miguel sure thing and it was free! Yay!

  13. laura

where can i find my MP3 credit balance? I tried what Kitty suggested above, but it only shows me my actual gift card balance.

    • Priscilla

I always have trouble finding that screen with the balance, but if you select the MP3 Music category and type in ‘credit balance’ in the search box, it should show the little green Amazon music icon with “Click here to find out how to check your Amazon MP3 credit balance. ”

I just did that thing to share a song and it told me I would get a free song but it’s not showing in the credits. Does it take awhile to show up? Or does it not show up in there because it’s just for 1 free song?

  14. Cristy

I tried today, Thursday, and they still haven’t fixed the trouble. They charged me the full 1.29 from my credits but I contacted them through the on line chat and she gave me a full refund so it worked out in the end.

  15. Clara

Same seeming issue- but when I checked under digital orders it showed that only the $0.05 had gone through. Confusing as it looks like it is charging the full price until AFTER the order is placed.

  16. Cherie

I clicked on the link on the amazon website, and then it posted on facebook…Downloaded my song and then noticed that the full $1.29 was taken from my mp3 credits as opposed to $.05. Had to chat with customer service, but he corrected the problem and refunded me the $1.24. Slightly time consuming, but was able to get the $.05 mp3 🙂
