    YAY!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      😀

  2. jen

Thanks Collin!! I also keep getting $5 off Centrum fruit burst coupons from the mcm, making them free or a $1 moneymaker 🙂

    • blinkycoupons

Are you still receiving those? The last of mine expired today 🙁

      • Mandi

My store will initial the store coupons and honor them when there are more in stock. 🙂 I have several that I wasn’t able to use.

    • Diane

I bought the Centrum Fruit Bursts last time they were on sale, and I noticed 4 “chews” equals 1 serving, so the deal wasn’t as great as I thought. (Of course if you get them for free, then it is a good deal!)

      • shanshan

I know! When I saw I have to take 4 chews a day I almost fainted! So I guess they had squeeze in so much flavor, there’s only room left for 1/4 the dosage on vitamins! Crazy!

        • Janet

yes I just gave my son a few bottles to take back to college and I told him how long it would last and he says – no Mom you didn’t read the label where it says 4 a day did you?? uh..nope! (who can remember 2x a day let alone 4?? LOL)

  3. Janet

Thanks for all that you do to prepare these lists each week! You’re truly a blessing to me and my family.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re most welcome! 🙂

  4. Emily

Thanks Collin! Btw Wal Mart always has the huggies wipes for around 1.92, so only 92 cents after the coupon!

  5. olivia clement

I got a $4 off $20 cosmetic coupon from the machine…Nexus wouldn’t be considered “cosmetics” would it?

    • mh

every time I have bought hair stuff there they count it as cosmetics.

      • mel

        according to the FDA –
Products intended to cleanse or beautify are generally regulated as cosmetics. Some examples are skin moisturizers, perfumes, lipsticks, fingernail polishes, makeup, shampoos, permanent waves, hair colors, toothpastes, and deodorants.

Now, my cashiers are very picky and would probably not let it fly to use the coupon on hair care, so YMMV!

    • Allison

In my opinion Nexus would be a hair care item – I think technically it is considered a salon hair care item.

    • CW

I ***think*** in April CVS stopped counting haircare as cosmetics.

    • Gaby

At CVS cosmetics = makeup only.

      • Shayla

what about Beauty Club members…do you still get $ toward your $50. It’s been awhile so I never know what counts.

        • Kristen

Yes, I am pretty sure shampoo counts towards Beauty Club. (Hopefully someone else can tell you for sure, though 🙂 )

          • Michelle

Body wash, face wash, makeup, shampoo and conditioner, nail polish count towards the Beauty Rewards in my area.

            • katie

Same here! I get $5 off Beauty club ecb’s almost every month and I barely buy any makeup! I do buy my shampoo and soap there!

  6. Sue

How does the 25% work with B1G1 free? I have a 25% off and on Coupons.com there is a buy refills get free razor, so does the 25% come off first then the coupon or does the coupon come off then 25% off the net? thanks

    • mel

for the Hydro Silk? there isn’t an ECB on them this week, but if you hold your coupon til the following week, when there will be an ECB deal.

AFA the % off, Manuf coupons don’t matter, the register will calculate the % off based on the regular price of the item. But be mindful that if you use any CVS Store coupons, that will change how the % off is calculated (cvs store coupons are usually any $/$$, beauty/green bag tag extrabucks & force printed extrabucks)

      • Shayla

Mel is right. I found that out the hard way about using CVS coupons with % off. Was very bummed that I didn’t get the discount I expected (considering ECBs are free money) =(

  7. Christy

Does anyone know what the Pampers jumbo pack shown usually runs? Thanks!

    • Elizabeth Martin

The CVS full price on the Pampers jumbo pack is usually around $11-$12 if I remember correctly. Full price at many big box stores is usually about $9.50-$10.00. Considering the $10 EB, this is a good deal!

  8. Ashton

There is a $5 on $20 purchase on SavingStar for Unilever products…could use on the Dove deals or the Nexxus.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks so much!

  9. Sandy

There is a spend $20 on Unilever get $5 back on SavingStar too:) Would go with Dove sale and then just buy $5 more before Thanksgiving to complete the $20 requirement. This is my thinking, maybe someone should double check it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks!

    • ccre_21

Hi, I am new to savingstar.. how does the buy $20 get $5 work? will it deduct $5 off my total? Im planning to do the dove deal, so if i buy $20 worth of dove, use coupons, i’d still have an additional $5 off? thanks!

      • Michelle

You go onto savingstar.com and register your extra bucks card and then go to the main page and activate the “coupon” you want to use. Then purchase the required item(s) and scan your eb card. Then in approximately a week (but can take up to 30 days) your savingstar account will register the savings in your account. Once you get to $5 you can get an amazon card or Paypal deposit. So it is not an immediate savings. Also, with deals like this, you don’t have to purchase the items all in one transaction or even at the same store, so you can spend $15 this week and the additional $5 to qualify for the $20 at a later time (preferably with a different sale), as long as before the expiration date. If this isn’t enough information, I’m sure there is more detailed instructions on the savingstar site. HTH

        • ccre_21

Thanks a lot michelle your explanation is very clear and precise! 🙂

        • Shayla

Thanks Michelle, I was wondering how if you had to buy them all at once (hit the $20 threshold) or if it keeps track. Do you know can you spread it out over different stores?

          • Kristen

You can spread it out, as long as you buy all $20 by the deal’s expiration date!

      • blinkycoupons

With Saving Star there are two types of coupons – the ones that say “one trip” or the ones that say “many trips” – the Unilever one is a “many trips” coupon, so you can get the $20 towards this coupon in either one trip or many trips as long as it is within the window when the coupon is valid. Hope that helps.

  10. Sandy

The Nexxus coupon is gone, unfortunately.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      🙁

  11. kim

The nexus coupons say it has ended

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks for letting me know!

  12. Makayla

Hi Collin! For this deal it gets better, you get $5 in Savingstar with a $10 purchase
    so it ends up being
    Lipton Iced Tea 12pk 2/$10
    Use the $1/2 Lipton coupon
=2/$9 but 2/$4 after deposit YAY! GREAT PRICE!

    • Makayla

Also the bottles are 2/$6 get 1 ECB so you could get 4/$12 -1ecb-$5 savingstar = 4/$6 or $1.50 ea.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! I forgot about that!

      • Makayla

I didn’t know either. Just found it when I was clicking on the Unilever one. Yay!

    • Heather

Where is the $1/2 Lipton coupon found? Thanks for any help!

      • Makayla

        tomorrow Pepsico insert

        • Heather

          Thank you!

          • chris280

If you have 150 points with Recyclebank you can print out a coupon for $1.00 off 1 box of Lipton Tea

  13. Amanda

I still have the $4/20 skin care, is the $20 total before free items (like the buy2 get 1 free) or % off items or after?

    • blinkycoupons

Amanda, I think it’s based on the regular price so it should be before

      • mel

no, its after the store sale is figured in. for the simple deal, 2 will ring up reg price, the 3rd @ $0.00/free.

  14. Molly

    Thank you!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome, Molly!

  15. blinkycoupons

Another deal idea for the $30 – $10 ECB deal.

    Buy 4 Cover Girl Lipsticks @ B1G50% = $20.37 (based on my store’s pricing of $6.79)
Buy 2 Cover Girl Lash Blast @ B1G50% = $13.99 (based on price of $8.99)
    Total: $32.36

Now it can go one of two ways.

If you have the 25% off coupon:

    25% off total = $25.77
    CVS $4/$12 Cosmetics (2) = $17.77
    $5/2 Lash Blast (Expires 09/30!) = $12.77
    2 x $5/2 Cover Girl Lip Product = $2.77
Pay $2.77 OOP, get $10 ECB

If you don’t have the 25% off coupon:

    Total = $32.36
    2 $4/$12 CVS = $24.36
    $5/2 Lash Blast = $19.36
    2 x $5/2 Lip Care = $9.36
    Pay $9.36, get $10 ECB!

    Either way it’s a moneymaker!

    • mel

sorry, the 25% won’t work since the items are on sale.

      • blinkycoupons

I thought that Extrabucks Deals are not counted as “sale” items.

      • blinkycoupons

Will the 25% not work because of the B1G50?

        • mel

right, the BOGO 50% is considered a sale price. If no price is stated in the ad (like the Nexxus deal) then the % off will work!

          • blinkycoupons

Thanks for the info! I think it’s still a pretty decent deal without the 25% off.

      • mel

oh, another thing is the $/$$ coupons now say in the fine print you can only use 1 $/$$ PER Transaction, so you’d have to split the Covergirl up if you want to use both coupons.

        • blinkycoupons

Haha, thanks for all the info! If the 25% doesn’t apply to the Cover Girl stuff anyway, I might as well do the mascara in a different transaction 😀

          • blinkycoupons

Quick question – the $10 ECB deal will work even if I split transactions right?

            • Makayla

Yes it sums up as long as you use the same Cvs card.

    • Melissa

the 25% off coupon I had was off total purchase. DOES NOT exclude sale items ; )

      • mel

I had one of those and it would not work when I tried to use it on a deal that had sale prices a while ago. The manager was nice enough to manually enter the discount. So I always just assume the % offs won’t work on sale items.

    • nd

Ok I must have bad case of pregnancy brain but where is the Covergirl products on here that gives you ECB’s? Which week? Please help…..

      • blinkycoupons

The Cover Girl products are part of a buy for $30 get $10 ECB deal. Hope that helps.

        • nd

Blinkycoupons is it the new week sale or last week??

          • blinkycoupons

            It’s valid from 09/30!

  16. debra

The Unilever Savings Star deal is so easy. Wish I could do it over and over.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

🙂 Yep makes the deals sweeter! I added it to the post!

  17. Pam

I read on another site that there is a $7/2 Nexxus coupon in a recent issue of People Magazine—one with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds on the cover (which is, of course, the one recent issue that I can’t seem to find right now!) I am not sure what the date of the issue is, and also, somebody else said that there are 2 recent issues with those two on the cover. So, check your magazines!

    • darlene

it was in the 9/24 issue but it expires today.

    • mer

      expired today!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        🙁 Darn it expired today!

        • Pam

oh, shoot. Well, you can still do it tonight at least.

  18. Brittany

    Thanks Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Brittany! 😀

  19. db

I have a question about the P & G rebate that was available about a couple of weeks ago. It was the buy 25 get 5 back coupon. I noticed that the rebate listed Crest toothpaste as part of the rebate. Does this mean that Crest mouthwash/rinse won’t work, or are they just saying the Crest toothpaste brand? TIA.

    • blinkycoupons

I think it’s the Crest family of products but I might be wrong.

    • kylie

Crest toothpaste just means crest toothpaste. HTH!

  20. mel

I’ve been fiddling around with the P&G deal, trying to get things I really need, so I’m doing this
    2 Downy Unstoppables = $11.98
    4 Febreze Candles = $12
    4 Dawn = $3.84
    2 Puffs = $1.98
    subtotal = $29.80
use 2 $2/1 Unstoppables (Sept P&G, exp tomorrow!), 2 BOGO Febreze Candle (Sept P&G, exp tomorrow), 4 .75/1 Dawn, 2 .75/1 Puffs (from mead notebooks I bought @ target!) and $10 eCB
= $5.30 (even less if the Febreze auto-deducts the full value), get a $10 ECB which I will then use towards the Nexxus deal!

    • Laura

The BOGO on the febreze candles is buy one 5.5 oz get a 3.5 oz free I believe. The ad says the 3.5 oz candles are on sale. I’m not sure of my price on the larger candles. Just FYI in case you missed this!

      • mel

ah, crud! IDK how I missed the size!!!??? While pulling 9/30 q’s from my binder I came across 2 $1 off Dawn Hand Renewal, so instead my plan is –
        4 Unstoppables = $23.96
        4 Dawn = $3.84
        2 Puffs = $1.98
        subtotal = $29.78
        – $8 for 4 $2/1 Downy, $2 for 2 $1/1 Dawn, $1.50 for 2 .75/1 Dawn, $1.50 for 2 .75/1 Puffs and $10 ECB = $6.78 + tax

    • Ronni

My ad does not show the Unstoppables, is it included?

      • debra

had an issue with the Unstoppables today. The green scent apparently works fine but the black & purple bottle rang up regular price of $7.99 and didn’t count towards the P&G deal. They had to return the purple, re-ring with the green bottle and then it worked.

      • zelene

my ad says un stoables13.2 oz under the bounce pic

        • Ronni

          I see it now…thanks!

          • mel

I had to scrap my plan, the store only had 1 bottle of Unstoppables and no Dawn Hand Renewal. Decided to go to Rite Aid and get the Dawn & Puffs with their +UP deal instead.

  21. Marissa

I got a few CVS pampers diaper coupons in te mail last week so I’m super excited to do the 30$ get 10$ with the pampers! Yay for deals on diapers! 😀

  22. Hatice K.

for Buy 2 participating Mucinex, NyQuil, DayQuil, or Robitussin products get $3 Ecb deal
$3/1 coupons found in the 9/29 RP ?
    did you mean 9/30?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oops…thanks for catching that!

  23. lee

went today after 4pm (when deals start in my area) got 3-12 packs duracell ultra batteries, 2-zantac 150. total before tax was $50.20. used $10 off $50 cvs , 3- $4.75/1 duracell coupon, 2- $5/1 zantac, $5 ecb from last week. total after coupons $11.37 got back $10 ecb and $4 ecb. after factoring used ecb and received ecb only paid $2.37. not bad for 36 batteries and 2 boxes of zantac.

    • lee

then bought 1- physicians formula makeup ($10.99) , 1-sally hanson nail polish, 1- bag of cotton balls. used $4 off $12 cosmetics coupon, $1/1 sally nail coupon, 25% off cvs, $10 ecb from 1st transaction. paid 24 cents got back $7 ecb

      • lee

then bought 1 flour, 2 metal water bottles on clearance, 1 dawn. used 50/1 dawn and $4 ecb from first tranastion. paid 4 cents. sunday i will buy the robitussin and more dawn with the $7 ecb from 2nd transaction and get back $3 ecb.

    • darlene

      Awesome!!Where was the battery coupon?

      • Makayla

It was a newspaper regional. I am doing the same today. I will be getting 2 packs of batteries and 9 dawns (4 with 50 cent coupon and 4 with 75 cent coupon). It should be16.50 plus ecb. and use my rolling as well.

      • lee

it was in sunday paper a couple of weeks ago not in the coupon section but inside the paper 1 for $2.50/1 8pack (used these a couple of weeks ago at rite aid) , and 1 for $4.75/1 12 pack ultra or 15 pack coppertop. dont remember what week in the paper maybe some else remembers but they expire on the 30th

    • brieanna

where did you get the 4.75/1 coupon????

  24. jdhlsc169

I think Dove is part of the Unilever promotion on SavingStar too isn’t it?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yep it sure is! I totally forgot about that. I went ahead and added it into the post! 🙂

      • jdhlsc169

Awesome! Thanks for all you do!

      • jdhlsc169

Nexxus I believe is part of this too.

  25. Carol_R

Thanks so much Collin for the awesome match-ups and all that you do.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome, Carol!

  26. Julie

Will the 25% off coupon work on the Simple Buy 2 get 1 Free deal?

    • kylie

No! It doesn’t work with any type of sale.

  27. ccre_21

Hi Collin, just got back from CVS and I’d like to report that the Aquaphor lip repair is a NO GO! it’s not included in the Buy $20 get $10 so I had to return it. My friendly cashier checked the price tags and they don’t have a price tag for the lip items and sure enough it didn’t track on my receipt (the only thing that tracked is the healing ointment). hth! 🙂

    • Jen

I purchased the aquaphor lip repair and got the 10ecb

    • Kim

Mine did not trach either 🙁

  28. krystle

    Hi Collin!
The crest white strips rebate from my 8/26 PG says it expires today, Sept. 29. Maybe it’s a misprint or does everyones PG expiration date vary?

I did the early activation at my store and can confirm that the P&G Spend $30 and get $10 back is a limit of TWO 🙂 YAY!!

Also, hair care items are not cosmetics .. cosmetics is simply make up.

    • darlene

So I can do another $30 transaction? Would love to get some tide and cascade. Did deal already with febreze and covergirl.

    • Denise

I just came back from my local CVS and they told me that they didn’t know anything about this deal being able to do it twice. In fact, they pointed out that the ad said “Limit 1”. Did you ask them before you did it? Just curious! Thanks!

      • Jamie Isaacs Bogan

At the bottom of my receipt, it said that my limit was not reached. The limits in the ad often get changed. I went back and did another transaction, using Pantene. 🙂 After that one, it said my limit was reached.

    Hi,

I keep seeing “Saving Star” accounts mentioned in posts…can someone be kind enough to explain what that is?

    Thanks in advance!

    • mel

Go to savingstar.com and register your store loyalty cards (in my area its CVS, Rite Aid & Winn Dixie) Then you activate the ecoupon offers. You won’t get the value deducted on your in-store purchase, but rather its banked in your savingstar acct. Once you hit $5, you can transfer the money to your local bank account, paypal or get an amazon e-GC. Depending on the store, it can take anywhere from 3-30 days.

Each ecoupon offer is a One-Time Use, so you won’t get a $2 deposit if you buy 4 boxes of Cheerios, just a .50 credit for the 1st box. Also, bee sure to read the terms of the offer on multiples, many of them have to be purchased in one transaction (like .60 wyb 3 Old El Paso), but some, like the Unilever ecoupon you can make multiple purchases.

    • lovedeals

read the comment # 9.2.1. It explains everything.

      • erica

        Thanks so much!

  31. Taylor

aw man… i went to recyclebank for my tuna coupon and right as i’m printing my shockwave thingamagig crashed and wasnt able to print 🙁 at least its only losing points but still bummed.. thank you soooooo much collin 🙂

    • Sara

I’ve had this happen before and if you contact Recyclebank they will refund your points!

  32. Amanda

Does anyone know if I use my 25% off coupon, if the ECB will still be triggered? For example, if I wanted to buy Physician’s Formula, and the 25% off coupon brought it down under $10, would the $7 ECB still print? Thank you Collin for all the matchups!

    • ccre_21

yes it’ll work even with the discount. did this deal today, paid $7.50, got $7 ECB back. 🙂

  33. Nicki

I got a $10/$50 purchase from the coupon machine the other day, anyone have any good scenarios to pair that up with?

    • Denise

I also got a few of those $10 off $50 purchase coupons and would also love to see a scenario to get the best out of that coupon….

      • edy

I had got 2 cpns 10/50 I would buy 60 dlrs worth between the pantene shampoos the cover girl and the dawn. Pay with the the 10/50 minus cpns and get 20 bucks back. Limit on buy 30 get 10 back its 2 times

        • mel

you can no longer stack those $/$$ 🙁 read the fine print… it says you can only use one purchase based coupon PER transaction now.

        • Denise

I just came back from CVS. Has anyone been able to confirm that we are able to do the P&G 10 ECB when you purchase $30 in qualifying merchandise twice? My CVS didn’t know anything about it.

          • Jamie Isaacs Bogan

I did the deal twice. After I did it once, I was looking at my receipt after I got home and it said I had $32 toward the deal and needed $28 for the next.

I went back and got more Pantene and got another $10 ECB.

After that, my receipt showed that my limit was reached.

            • darlene

is it called the gain reward on your receipt?

    • irene

If you do the pg $30 deal, you are more than half way there!

    • Samantha

      • Kidsallgone

Holy SHMOKES!!! Wayyyy over my head! Thanks for the scenario though. When all my cobwebs clear (which will probably be NEVER), I’ll go back and re-read your scenario and see if I can duplicate it 🙂 🙂 🙂
        Congrats!!!

  34. Joanne

Skippy is also a Unilever product and will count toward the Savings Star promo (buy $20 in UL, get $5).

I did the Hershey’s deal twice this morning-received my $6 ECB and also $5. Beauty & another $5/25 Sweet!

  36. Denise

I also received a $4 off $20 skincare red machine coupon, which should pair nicely with the Olay regenerist skincare.

  37. Chrissy

The auqaphor lip repair deal did not give $10 ecb the ad does not specify but the cashier told me if it doesn’t count it on the receipt then its not included , she gave it to me but it wasnt automatic afyer the lotion and three lip repairs

  38. DealHunter

  39. Seth

Collin…thanks for all you do. I really appreciate the time you spend in posting these deals. I always look forward to your weekly match ups! So on a sode note are there any great deals on men razors that fellow couponers are doing? If so could you please let me know. I also have a 25% off coupon too. I went last night and just couldn’t seem to find any great deals. I have $14 in ECB’s that need to be used as well. But what I’d really like to do is roll these bucks to get the same or more. Any ideas would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    • mel

if you’re not opposed, you could buy the women’s schick quattro razor and use the $4 off from coupons.com. With your 25% off, makes it a fairly decent price for a razor. The women’s quattro refill fits the men’s quattro handle, my dh snitches my refills all the time! honestly the only difference is the strip on top!

      • Seth

        Mel,

I was able to work in some men’s razor but thanks for the heads up on the women’s razor. I purchased the women’s Schick Quattro razor and used the $4 off coupon along with my 25% coupon. I had a other purchases as well however the $4 ECB’s didn’t print out for the razor. The manager said they were having problems with the ECB’s printing out but had no problem with him forcing the print. So just make sure you get the ECB’s for this deal. Gosh I really love my CVS. They are so friendly and knowledgeable with coupons it makes it so much easier to shop there.

  40. nicky
