Plus, all gift cards ship FREE (or are delivered electronically at no cost) and there are many different denominations of gift cards available…check them all out here (you can sort by brand or category).

Even sweeter, if you’re new to CouponTrade, you can enter the promo code hip2save at checkout to instantly save 5% off your total purchase (valid through October 7th at 11:59PM EST). Note that this promo code is valid for new CouponTrade customers only and is limited to one use per customer.

Since I am a Starbucks addict, I felt it was in my best interest to snatch up a $50 Starbucks e-Card on sale for just $46. After the code hip2save, I snatched up this gift card for only $43.70 (that’s a savings of 13%!). Plus, the e-card was available to be used by the end of the day. Note that when you place your first CouponTrade order, you will receive a phone call from a CouponTrade representative who will ask you a set of questions to ensure a secure marketplace and to prevent fraud (you must complete this one-time new customer verification so that your order can be processed).

Note that there are no fees to buy these gift cards (they don’t charge sales tax, shipping costs or processing fees!). Physical gift cards will be mailed through USPS (and arrive between 3-14 days) and E-gift cards become available in your CouponTrade account within 1-2 business days.

If you’re planning to shop at these stores anyway, why not save a few bucks…and remember, you can combine store coupons and cash back sites with gift cards to SAVE even more! Love that! 😀

Come back and let us know what card(s) you snatch up!

Is there a guarantee I won’t get ripped off? I am always scared of buying stuff like this but sounds awesome

    • Ashley57

I can’t speak for this site, but I have literally bought thousands of dollars in gift cards from various sites and never had a single problem (knock on wood). I buy almost everything with gift cards now.

Off topic. Did anyone use Plasticjungle for purchasing a GC recently? I have done several times. It was fine. But recently I could not use my paypal account to make a purchase. I’ve contacted their customer service via email (only option available) but their response was generic and did not solve the problem. Any suggestions?

Plastic Jungle and Cardpool are probably the worst gift card sites on the internet. Not only do they not have a customer service department, but they don’t protect their buyers nor care to help people on bad purchases / site usage. I would never recommend using any of them, just look at their reviews online. Plus if you try to sell a gift card they advertise 92% but only offer you between 50-60%. Last time I bought a Banana Republic card on that site, I purchased a $100 card only to find that there was $18 dollars on the card left. I tried calling, emailing and nothing. I had to just go ahead and dispute it with my credit card company.

    • Vicki

So who do you recommend? I always get Plastic Jungle emails but haven’t purchased yet.

      • Ashley57

It seems as though this person had a bad experience, but I can tell you I have bought thousands of dollars in gift cards from both sites and never had a problem. As a matter of fact, I once bought a Macy’s e-gift card from Cardpool, but they had an inventory mistake and didn’t actually have it. As soon as they realized that, they apologized and sent me a $10 cardpool gift card for free. I just went and bought another Macy’s card at almost the same value, easy peasy. I think both sites are great. I also go through Shop at Home for around 1% cash back.

        • Diana

I have bought thousands of dollars worth of cards from various sites in the last five years and have had at least two problems but they have always been fixed by customer service (like a Ruby Tuesday $50 card having a 0 balance).

Nice idea, but it kept saying I had a card read error and I even tried 2 cards. Oh well…
