New Walmart Deals (& a Hubby Who Takes Pictures of Hello Kitty Products for His Wife!)
So before dishing about these Walmart deals, I want to talk about this husband of mine. Yesterday he mentioned that he was headed out to Walmart and asked if I needed anything… well, I said the usual:

His facial expression changed a bit after I said that. The dreaded look hung over his face. Have I told you how much I love this guy? He’s pretty amazing.

Is anyone else having trouble using coupons at Walmart? Mine informed me that if a coupon won’t scan, they will no longer hand key it and will not accept the coupon. Had a Suave lotion coupon and when she scanned it it said “item not found” even though I did indeed purchase the exact lotion. She said it is a new policy and they can no longer force a coupon through, end of story. Wouldn’t it be more cost effective to simply upgrade their software??? This wasn’t a printed coupon either, it was from a Red Plum insert so no way was it a fake! I don’t have this problem at any other store.
I have had this same problem recently. I quit shopping there for several months because it was constantly some issue when I used coupons and each person made up some crazy excuse as to why they couldn’t accept them. Each time the same manager would be called over and he would change his story as to why they couldn’t accept things for really odd ball reasons. Now the manager and cashiers said that the store manager has instructed them that any coupon that does not scan has to be handed back to the customer and cannot be used for any reason even if they verify that the correct items were purchased. Really stinks because there are certain manufacturers that their coupons beep and do not scan no matter what.

I did have the same trouble at walmart a few months ago. They had to update their software and now it is fine. It is so horrible feeling like they are telling you your coupons are fake! So sorry.
FYI the Playtex BOGO coupon scans for $6.99 (at target) no matter how much the pacifiers cost. Pretty cool.
Our Walmart has the Stars & Stripes Hormel party trays for only $5.98, so just $2.98 after the $3 off coupon! (and they’re only a couple ounces less than the $10.98 trays!)

I found biotene gum at my walmart today in the beauty section on clearance for 1.00. I used the 2.50/2 coupon and got .50 overage.

I went to walmart today to use the playtex coupon and the pacifiers had a $2.00 peelie coupon on them. Great deal!
My husband would attempt to do something like this for me, because he loves me……BUT, wouldn’t be able to locate 75% of the items that needed pictures, would get frustrated, forget the coupons I sent him with, and walk out buying something he didn’t really need. Gotta love him.
