Commissary Match-Ups for December

For all of you Commissary shoppers, here are the December Commissary Match-ups brought to you by MyMilitarySavings.com.

Remember, you can score better than FREE items at the Commissary and apply any overage towards other products in your transaction (veggies, meat and any other items you may not have coupons for)! The Commissary actually allows this. In their coupon policy it states, “Valid coupons will be entered at the value stated on the coupon. If the value of the coupon exceeds the cost of the product, the customer will be given the full value of the coupon.” Pretty Cool, huh?!

Also, make sure to be on the lookout for lots of great tear pad coupons! The Commissary always seems to have a plethora of these. Usually you’ll find various tear pad coupons and realize the item featured on the coupon is not currently on sale. However, that does not mean you shouldn’t take the coupon. Most of the time these coupons have month long expiration dates, so take one or two coupons and save them for a possible sale.

I went to the commisary last Thursday and got Organic Tomato sauce for Free with an in-store coupon plus the coupon on the jar!

Are you saying you used two coupons on one item? A mfg and a commissary/military? Unless they changed their policy, they don’t allow that.

      • elaine

You’re right! Because the “in store” coupon is a manufacturer coupon.

        • jen

They do have military/commissary only coupons offered on the shelves/in stores as well sometimes. But which ever, I went back to their coupon policy on their website and it still says only one coupon- mfg or commissary so their cashier must not know their own policy if both were actually used.

I’m SO happy you posted Military deals! I just came back stateside this year and ended up being stationed in the middle of nowhere, the commissary is my favorite store by default and so this is super exciting!

    • Bobbie

You wouldn’t happen to be stationed in Mountain Home, Idaho would you? That’s were we are and it is pretty much the middle of nowhere lol

      • Bailey

I live in Moutain Home ID! How cool!

  4. Becca

I though I read on here that coupons can be used a month after their expiration date at the commissary? I have a bunch of expired coupons if someone else can use them?

    • jen

Expired coupons can only be used at overseas bases. Anything stateside cannot be expired.

  5. Hanaa Hanna

Please email me if you are stationed overseas and would like some expired coupons 🙂
