Does anyone own these towels? Do you like them? Thanks 🙂

    • lindsay

you have to wash them a few times, and they get softer. they’re not the best quality but for the price it’s not terrible.

    • Lucy

I looked at the reviews on Kohls website….most of them not good. Said this used to be a good product but not anymore. I always check the reviews before buying something.

    • Brittany

      These suck.

    • Ashley

I got these last time they had a sale. I washed them once and they have already started to fray. Save your money!!

    • Susan C.

I would definately pass on these! I bought the hand towels the last time. IMO the JCPenneys quick dri towels are much better (not to thin, soft and dri fast after using).

However, if you need new towels that will only last a couple of months then go for it 🙂

      • michelle

I’ve heard so many good things about the jcpenney quickdry towels. Too bad they are never on sale.

    • trace

I had to comment on this, save your $$$ unless you r happy with very thin towels that r not great quality. Trust me, these r ok for kids or washing the dog but I was disappointed as far as putting them in my guest bathroom. I would say the quality is like the cheapest towels u could get at Dollar General or Walmart. This brand used to be really great, my mom still has thick “big one” towels that are 10 yrs old. HTH!

    • jen

These towels are cheaply made.Mine also got faded after one wash waste of money!!

    • Sheila

I’m not sure if it was these towels exactly but I was not all that impressed with the quality of the towels I got at Kohls. Honestly, one of the best towels I have ever bought was at Dollar General-especially for the price difference.

  2. Hilary

They are getting terrible reviews. Even for that price, I think we’ll pass. What a shame from Kohl’s.

    • Katie

I have found that Kohls items can sometimes be horrible. I went through 3 purses in one year. Luckily they took them back but what a pain. Bought one at Macy’s and still have it 3 years later.

  3. Tammy

I got some. After the first wash the strings start coming off of them so I do not expect them to last long

  4. Ashley

These towels are not very thick or big. I was really disappointed when I ordered them back in the summer.

  5. Bridget

i have these towels and love them… i have had them since college and now 6.5yrs in my house… they are just now starting to show their age… great towel, especially for the price!

    • Erin

      They are different now.

  6. elisa_nj

I don’t like the reviews given on their site!

    • Michelle

      Thanks!

    • Jennifer

got to have kohls charge to use that code

    • Ashley

      ooo thanks!

  8. S

Do you know if they are the same prices in store? If so, I will get them at the store to avoid the shipping charges.

  9. Corinne Char

I got these last time they were on sale and I don’t like them. Even for the price not really worth it.

  10. Jenny

I ordered these off their website on Black Friday, and returned them almost immediately once they arrived. They are VERY thin and rough. I love Kohls deals, but you get what you pay for with this one.

  11. jenn

    6% back through Ebates.

  12. Ambr

They’re absorbent but thin which I like, especially for my kids. They take up less space in the washing machine and I haven’t had a problem with durability. Overall I like them for the price. 😉

    • Vicky

I agree, Ambr. For the price they seem ok. If not Kohl’s has a super easy return 🙂

    • Katrina

Same here! I like them. Less bulk but do a good job. They have lasted well through washings for me.

    • freezergal

I also like these towels. They are good sized and do the job. I will buy more. I have bought more expensive thick big towels that didn’t last long. So far these are great. Guess it’s all depending on what your idea of a good towel is. I bought brown- no fading yet 🙂

  13. Lisa

I was going to buy some until I read the reviews. Its about 50-50 whether or not people would recommend them. A lot of people said they were poor quality.

  14. susan

I bought these last time they did this deal and I returned them promptly upon receiving them. They were thin and lightweight, felt like a poor quality towel.

    • Jo

Same here. We did wash one set to see if they would be ok and there were strings everywhere and they looked terrible. Took them back and the lady at the counter said they get a lot of this brand towel back unfortunately. At least the return was simple.

  15. Kim

NEWYEAR20 is an extra 20% off!!!

  16. Krissy

I bought some recently from a deal I saw on here & I love them! They are thinner than some towels, but they are very absorbent & I havent had any problems with them falling apart.

    • amy

Same here. I got these last black Friday and the towels are still holding up. They are a good size and absorb quickly. I just bought more this black Friday.

  17. janel

Original price is too high but this price a bargain. We just bought a bunch for more than this and i think they’re nice.

Not the thickest ever but maybe everyone else is used to more pricey towels than me because we think they’re nice lol

  18. Martha

The reviews were not good..even with how cheap hey are I’m not sure it is worth it.

  19. Betty

Hi friends, trying to purchase some dinnerware. Anyone have extra Kohl’s Cash they’re not going to use? I’d appreciate it 🙂 cubbiegal23@gmail.com

  20. Monica

I ordered these last time and was skeptical when they arrived. They seem real thin and rough. HOWEVER, WASH THEM. they turn super soft and I actually love them. Great price, absorbent, takes up less space in the closet. The wash cloths are my favorite too. Bigger than the ones I owned previously and perfect. For the price, doesn’t hurt to give one or two a try 🙂

    • Steph

I totally agree Monica. I thought Oh no what did I order. Going to be taking these back. But I washed them and they did get softer and plump up. I don’t like these super soft towels that excuse me but you pay out the you know what for and they don’t absorb water. These do. I’ve kept mine and am satisfied that I did. It’s all in what you like and are willing to pay for I guess.

    • LENKA

I totally agree. I buy some every time they are on sale, to add to my collection.

  21. Bailey Price

I have used them before! i just ordered 14 towels, 10 wash cloths, & 6 hand towels for $54 for a wedding gift. Huge score!!

  22. K

This is NOT a quality product especially to give as a wedding gift. That is a bit embarrassing for you once the bride washes them a few times.

    • Samantha

That is YOUR opinion. Just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean no one else will. These towels aren’t my favorite, but they are good quality for the price. I think they would be a great wedding gift.

  23. JENNIFER DAY

I have a ton of these older ones but haven’t bought them in over a year or so, they used to be my all time favorite towels, even better than the $8 high quality towels I bought, so I’m going to try a few this time around and hope they are the same quality as before.

  24. Kristen

Just wanted to throw my two cents in … I ordered these as guest towels, and a few additional washcloths for me to use. I am not super picky, especially about guest towels, but I do regret buying these. They are so thin. And the washcloths developed small holes after being washed about 4 times. I have some washclothes from JCPenney which I bought years ago (6 for $10, ended up being free with a $10/$10 coupon), and they are still going strong.

  25. karen

If you want a great towel from Kohls, the Apt 9 quick drying pima towels are awesome. Ive had these for about 3 years now, and they still look great, they wear great and wash great. I wish these were on sale for $2.99

  26. Michelle

grrr, I need a free ship code but I dont have a kohls charge and I dont want to spend $50…

    • Jo

If you have a store nearby you can order from the Kiosk inside and get free shipping. I don’t recommend these towels though. I got them from a past Hip2Save deal and was hoping they would be ok for our little one. washed one set and they frayed really bad and had strings everywhere. Followed their wash instructions too. When we took them back it was an easy return process but the lady said they get a lot of these towels returned because of the quality.

  27. Bfam

Ordered these last time they were on sale for the guest bathroom. Washed them a few times, hoping they’d maybe fluff some, but instead the edges unraveled and no fluff. Using them for rags. Save your $!!

  28. Maria

I have a few Dollar General towels at home and to be honest I like them! They absorb moisture and don’t take up so much space in my small bathroom (and we only have one bath so space is an issue) So, I figure, the Kohl’s brand will be either the same quality or slightly nicer. I can’t imagine they would be any worse than the Dollar General brand. My DG towels are holding up just fine. Used up some Kohl’s cash from my sweet mother in law and I look forward to trying these towels!
    HTH!

  29. someontheside

I received these in an ivory color two Christmases ago and love them. I don’t know about fading, but I think they’re thick enough to get the job done. It’s nice that they don’t take as long to dry in the dryer. I think they’re soft enough, but I don’t necessarily require a luxuriously soft towel.

  30. Kimberly

I like mine too…bought them a few years back. I really DISlike the JCP “Quick-Dry” ones…they don;t even dry you!

  31. Gwen

BEFORE THE REVIEWS…I BROUGHT 3 CLOTHS AND 3 TOWELS USING THE 20% OFF AND A GIFT CARD

  32. Nancy

Saw these the other day and they are really thin but may be worth .79.

  33. kathleen

I got about 5 towels. If they are not good, I will take them back. The price was right!

  34. Sarah

I actually like these towels. I have bought them several times over the years and I use them to make hooded baby towels for gifts. I have made some hooded towels for my own kids out of these and other brands of towels, and these have stayed the softest and lasted the longest. Just my opinion 🙂

    • Nickie

Thank you for your comment Sarah! I also make hooded towels and my stock is almost gone and was wondering how these would work for that purpose. Plush towels are harder to handle when making hooded embroidered towels, so I’ll give these a try!!

  35. allison

i have owned my towels for 2 years now. at first they were nice but i feel like, over time with washing, they got thin. they work, haven’t frayed, and look nice. so for “marriage starter towels”, these are just fine.
