I bought this last time it was posted here, at the end of August. I just sent an email complaint yesterday because I have received one copy of World of Puzzles and NONE of Games…They have no phone line to access for complaints, and the email I received said it would take more than 2 weeks to get back to me.
Short story: I wouldn’t recommend taking this offer.
This is a great deal! I also purchased this last time it was posted (Aug) and had no trouble getting my subscription started. First copy came about 8wks after signing up. $10 for 6 issues is a nice deal, especially when you pay about $5 for one issue in store. Check Amazon for good reviews of this magazine if you’re wondering if it’s for you.
I, too, bought this last time it was posted and would not recommend either. I just received my first puzzle book and the puzzles are of poor quality. The paper the magazine is made of is so thin you practically tear the pages when writing on them. On the plus side, $10 for 6 magazines is a steal of a deal when you consider the newsstand price of Dell or PennyPress. It might be worth the $1.66 per magazine, just know these are not the same quality.
I used this service last year to purchase gift subscriptions (and one for myself), and my friends have received their ‘zines in a timely fashion. I purchased this magazine as Christmas gift just a week ago when they ran this offer, so I’ll be interested to see if my friend enjoys it.
