You can Freeze the packages if you need to. The Starbucks stores inside Target and other Box Stores were only offering 30% off.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll try tomorrow. I hope the blonde is available. My husband would be happy. He loves that blend.

    Thank you!

that was not the case at the STarbucks’ I was in at a Target store. They said 50% off only applied to the mugs.

    • Stephanie

It says in the post that stores in Target and other box stores are only offering 30% off…..

      • christy

My target wasn’t offering the coffee on sale at all – it was still ringing up 14.95 for the holiday blends.

        • marla

Mine was still ringing up 14.95 too! Ugh…super disappointed.

Does anyone know if the Amazon Local Voucher that some have purchased for the 20% off thru the end of the year can be used in conjunction with these clearance sales?

    • Andre

Pulled up the Holiday Cheer Pass, says 20% off regular-priced merchandise until 12/31…was hoping it was combinable, too!

      • Lauren G.

I tried to use it on the coffee travel mug that you get free coffee for the month of Jan. and the register would not accept it, even though it was still regular price 🙁

If you have Bank Of America they have a cash back deal for Starbucks 25% cash back! The BOA deals are a free service but you have to activate it first to use. Cash will deposit back into your account at the end of the month.

How long can you freeze them? Should you freeze them as whole bean or ground? I don’t have a grinder, so I have to have them grind it for me at the store. Thanks!

    • mel

I’ve had coffee in my freezer for a few years now. I’m actually using a bag of New England brand that has a “best by” date of 5/5/10!! I have no experience with whole beans so I’d probably have them grind the beans first. They don’t stick together at all when frozen. You can just actually scoop out of the bag and put it back in the freezer! I think I read that over time the flavor weakens, but I honestly don’t taste the difference.

    • Ashley

The bags come sealed, they will last the longest in the pantry. (Not freezer) If you open them to have them ground, you should put the bags inside of something that is airtight. They won’t stay fresh as long as the store vacuum sealed bags, though.

      • Suszy

Hi, I agree with Ashley. I watched a tv show that said it was better to store your coffee in an airtight container in your pantry. HTH! 😊

I’ve read that freezing coffee is a bad idea. Just a FYI!

does starbucks take the manufacturer coupons ?

This is also going on at the Starbucks on Crater Lake Hwy in Medford, OR. They had a ton of the blonde roast available, but it looked like they were out of espresso.

One of my best friends is a coffee expert, per her: unless you’re a serious coffee aficionado, which you aren’t if you’re drinking Starbucks (it’s good, but far from a delicacy) freezing it won’t hurt you. It’ll taste fine as long as it is in an air tight container so it won’t pick up any odors.

  12. Ellie

My Ollie’s (a crazy make my O.C.D. head hurt discount store) has the Blonde Roast for $3.49 a pound package. It is good until 2014 too. I was curious if Starbucks is doing away with it because they had a ton.

  13. Katy

The Starbucks inside Safeway has all of their holiday blends and mugs marked half off also!

  14. amber

Of topic, I have almost $150 in maxperks rewards and I don’t need any ink from them. Does anyone know if they are going to have any freebies next month. It’s been so long. 🙁

    • shannon

I used my Max perks rewards to buy K cups to be shipped to my door at a time when they were offering 20% off. I also got free shipping. You could also consider ordering paper towels or toilet paper that you will need at some point.

  15. Sandra

I got the 10 oz Starbucks Christmas blend on clearance at Kroger for $2.49. This was after I saw the employees taking the product out the back door for their own purchases. I got the last bags in the clearance center up front.

  16. heather

Most tj maxx store have these priced at around 4.99. 😀

  17. Jen

Picked up some holiday spice tea for 50% off at Barnes and noble 🙂

  18. Holly

Does anyone know if k cups are included?

    • suszy

They are online at Starbucks.com but, when I went there today the k-cups weren’t on sale 😞 I would call your local Starbucks and ask though, just jn case 😊

    • Michelle C

Definetly call your local Starbucks right now! I called mine this morning and the manager Val said that even though the k-cups weren’t included that he would personally give what he had in stock to me for 50% off! I got 4 boxes of 12 k-cups for $24. Not too bad considering they are usually $11.99 each! I would act fast though because all the Christmas coffee except the kcups was gone today.

  19. Jen

Be sure to ask at your individual stores – the Starbucks at my Target and Kroger were only offering 50% off the gift sets and mugs, NOT any of the larger bagged coffee.

I did get a gift set of 6 different coffees, which was good since I wasn’t familiar with their holiday blends and it was a way to try them. Worked out in the end since I didn’t really care for them that much (I like some of their regular stuff better).
