So I get $5 up rewards for every bag purchased , up to 3 bag ??

  2. Heather

Yes its a $5 up reward for each bag. So you can get a total of $15 up rewards. Limit is 3

  3. vs

    Has anyone tested this???

  4. Kim

I wonder if anyone has tried this… it sound too goo to be true… like last month when the glade candles said $3 up when you buy 1 and they ended up being mis-labeled…

  5. WynetteC

I am not seeing it on the health food/diet aisle.. I even walked around all the end caps and reg food section to no avail. My store isn’t considered a high volume store so maybe only certain stores have it.

  6. Monica

I just tried this deal in Southern California and I received a five dollar up reward and it is only on one purchase of at least five dollars of eligible product. No money maker for me.

    • Tat

Could it be the ‘flavor’, which one did you purchase? Thanks.

      • Monica

I purchase cranrasberry, green tea and honey lemon. According to the $5 up reward it states that you will receive a $5 up when you purchase at least $5 worth of teas, so that would be 2 boxes. $3.29 x 2= 6.58-5 up=1.58 for 2 boxes

  7. Luanna

Just tried it at my rite aid. Only gave me 1 – $5.00 up reward.

    • Tat

Could it be the ‘flavor’, which one did you purchase? Thanks!

      • Luanna

I purchased one of the green tea first (wanted to make sure the deal worked) and received 1 -$5.00 up reward. Went and got 2 more of the green tea and purchased them and didn’t receive and more UPS.

        • Luanna

Oh, and there wasn’t any signage on these either at the store….:(

  8. Kara

I just tried it at my rite aid. I purchased two raspberry and one orange flavored tea and received 3 $5 rewards 🙂

  9. Kara

    sorry cranberry not raspberry

  10. Danielle

too bad there is none close to me! I love this “tea”.

  11. wanda

For $7.00 UPS and $1.88 cash I was able to walk out with one cranberry, one lemon, one green & $15.00. No problems.

  12. Danielle

If y’all havent tried the tea yet – beware! You better be home about 6-8 hours after you drink it.

    • someontheside

LOL!!! So THAT’S how it slims you.

      • sandra

This company is marketing SENNA leaves as a weight loss product. It is usually marketed as a LAXATIVE (under names such as “SMOOTH MOVE” tea, for example.) It’s not a weight loss product, it just dehydrates you! Long turn use of Senna leaves for weight loss is not a good idea, imo.

  13. Carmen

    No rewards for me 🙁

  14. Gina

I don’t understand why it doesn’t work the same with everybody! I bought 2 oranges and 1 lemon and only got 1 $5 reward?!! 🙁

    • Alea

      Probably regional.

      • Gina

        It might be!

  15. Pamela

Read on another board, deal was dead as of 1:00pm EST. 🙁
    Please post times of purchase.
    TIA

    • sandra

I bought mine a little before 12noon EST, got three teas (cranberry, orange lemon) and only got 1 $5. I live in New Orleans metro. I’m guessing this deal may be incorrectly loaded into the system at a regional level. Maybe?

      • Gina

same here in New Orleans, just one up!

  16. roxy

tested in california and only 1 printed

  17. HC

I tested in TN about an hour ago and it did NOT print.

  18. TK

I just got home from Rite Aid in Michigan. The teas were labeled $5 UP Rewards, limit 3. I bought 3 and only one reward printed so I talked to the manager and she gave me a $10 gift card and appologized!

  19. Michelle

I bought 1 green tea and nothing printed. I asked the manager about it and she told me she couldn’t do anything at the store level, I would have to call 1-800-riteaid.
After a 37 minute phone call and several transfers, I finally got to someone who told me you have to buy 3 boxes to get the $5 reward. She said they are aware of the misprint on the sign and they are working on fixing it and notifying the stores. I asked her if she would honor it for me since the sign didn’t say I had to buy 3, and she said “No. All I can tell you is that we are aware of the issue and we’re fixing it. If you’d like to file a complaint, I can transfer you to the complaint department.”
I declined filing a complaint over $5 since I was already sick of being of being on the phone with them for more than a half hour.

Anyway, I hope this helps some of you.

    • Angie

I don’t think the sign was misprinted, the detail of the “buy $5 worth, get 1 $5 up” was in the teeny tiny print under where it says “$5 UP REWARD” on the sign. They were correct when I saw them in my store. See in the picture above how it has an asterisk beside “$5 UP REWARD” …that asterisk refers the reader to the full terms in the tiny print below. Does it look misleading? Probably, but this is often how Rite Aid UP signs read when multiple purchases are required. I have to use magnifying glasses when I read the Rite Aid UP signs in the store, and even then I can barely read them! The lucky folks who get 3 $5 ups did so because of an error Rite Aid made when they coded the UP rewards, and now they fixed it. Why are they pulling the signs? Because they don’t want a million phone calls because of the frenzy caused by the coupon blogs 🙂

  20. Lacey

NOTHING!!! THEY CHANGED IT THIS MORNING TO BUY 3 GET $5!!!! I JUST TALKED TO THE MGR THERE…the email went to them this morning and they took the signs down…ALWAYS ASK TO PRICE CHECK IF THERE IS NO SIGN!!!

  21. sandra

Guys, Rite Aid didn’t change the deal. If they did anything all, then they just corrected the error in their system on the deal. The deal was always buy $5 worth (which equals 2 boxes of tea), and get 1 $5 up. I still can’t figure out if the error was regional and still exists for whatever region it was occurring in, or if it was nation-wide and Rite Aid fixed it today before some of us made it to the store. In any event, the up signs at the store say buy $5, get 1 $5 up…they never said buy 1, get 1 $5 up. Often these “true good to be true” deals are the result of an error in their computer systems. I can’t fault them for fixing it once they learn.

    • Chrystal

My store had to the signs up so I bought 2, thinking maybe that was what the deal was, but nothing printed. The manager went back and took the signs down and issued me a $10 gift card since the signs did say $5 each, not when you buy 2.

  22. Colleen

I went to my Rite Aid in Central PA this afternoon and purchased 3 boxes – 2 cranraspberry and 1 orange. It only printed out one $5 UP+ and said “for purchasing $5 worth of product” on it. I got back into line and asked the cashier about it, as there was nothing on the tag under the product that stated it was only when you bought $5 worth of product – it was very vague. She went and checked and apologized for the vague wording. I ended up returning the 3 boxes, but she let me keep the $5 UP+ after I asked if it would be voided because of the return. What great customer service!

    • sandra

At the stores in my area, the product was clearly labeled buy$5 worth, get 1 $5 UP all along. After this morning’s post about extra UPS printing (1 per box), I thought I’d try it anyway at my own risk.

  23. val942

I bought two boxes at my store in Georgia- it was clearly labeled and said Limit 3- however the UPs didn’t print. The manager gave them to me on a gift card, but they removed the tags and said that it must be a misprint, and that they wouldn’t honor it for any one else.

  24. Alicia Wright Gonzales Obregon

I tried my Rite Aid in Charlotte, NC. I purchased one item and I did not receive a $5 up but the manage did let me have the product for free,

  25. Gil

Knowing what this stuff does to you (from above posting)
    YOU can have all mine!

  26. snowman

I did check this out few hours ago.
It says limit 3, so I bought 3 boxes, but only got one 5 ups.
Should I call cs a out this?

    For now, buy one box.
    You’ll make $2.01.
