  1. cheap cheap goes the mommy

trying to eat turkey bacon with my southern family has not gone over well in the past..any suggestions on how to make it taste good and crispy?

    • Lindsay

I add maple/brown sugar to mine in the last few minutes of cooking, yum 🙂

  2. Lindsey Kelley

I microwave it, on lots of paper towels. Crisps up just fine. My husband loves bacon and likes the Jenny O. If you have a Publix nearby they’re only $.50 after coupon right now.

  3. Ailin

For Southern readers: This is BOGO at Publix right now. That means 50 cents each!

  4. Ann

    didnt reset for me

Jennie-O doesn’t get crispy 🙁 Butterball is SO much better!

    • Lindsay

if you have a Giant around they often have the Butterball turkey bacon 2/$3, there was a .55/1 coupon in last weekends paper that will double making it only .40 🙂

    • Jana

totally agree with you Kim. I thought it was just me the first time I tried it, I even tried baking it in the oven and it would just get tougher. I love Butterball turkey bacon.

Also a good deal at Safeway. On sale for $2.49 and if you load your just 4 U coupon for 50 cents off it is $1.99
Use the $1.00 off coupon and it is only 99 cents.

  7. bessymae

it is free at dollar tree. Got 4 today.

    • Autumn

It says ‘Not redeemable at Dollar Tree’ on the coupon.

    • Anon

This coupon is for 12 oz, not the 5 oz sold at Dollar Tree!

  8. Dani

I put my turkey bacon in the oven and it crisps just fine. I actually prefer this bacon to the expensive stuff now.

  9. Jo

Reset me for too. I have never eaten this kind, but we just bought it today to try tomorrow.

    • Jo

      lol…*reset for me

I agree it needs to be cooked in the microwave, as I too like it really crispy. It’s the only way I can get it crispy enough. It does specifically say ‘not redeemable at Dollar Tree’ and I surely wouldn’t want to ‘pass it off’ to them and have them be stuck with it, not being reimbursed by the vendor. On the last round, it didn’t specify size or retailer, so Dollar Tree accepted it.

Has everyone found this product at Walmart? I couldn’t find it anywhere at mine!

    • kim b

Our Walmart doesn’t carry it – have to get it at Ingles, our “regular” supermarket here.

  12. Lucas

I got six packages at Safeway last night. Used my J4U coupon to make all 6 $1.99 each. Limit one time use, but no limit on amount. Then used 6 coupons printed from 2 computers. Total $5. 94.

I’m eating it right now, and its crispy and tastes like normal bacon. Fried on medium for 10 minutes.

  13. Sarah

They actually sell this at the dollar store I my area so u get it for free !!

    • shanshan

Coupon says “Not redeemable at Dollar Tree”.

      • heidi

My coupon doesn’t say that…it just has a 12 oz or more restriction.

    • D

Our Dollar Tree only carries the 5 oz anyway.

  14. Carrie

how come I can’t find the coupon to print 🙁
