LEGO Store: FREE Lego Log Cabin Mini Model (Tonight Only)
If you are looking for a free activity to do with your kiddos this evening, consider heading to your local Lego Store. On the first Tuesday of every month (which would be today 🙂 ), kids ages 6-14 can learn how to build a cool mini model AND take it home – for FREE (limit one per child)!
Keep in mind that quantities are limited to approximately 250 per store and the offer is good while supplies last only. Tonight’s FREE mini-model is a LEGO Reindeer. This event will start at 5PM at most LEGO stores; however, I encourage you to contact your store or head on over here for specific details. Have fun!

I took my kids last month to this here in KS. I got to the store @ 4:30pm and mistakenly just walked around the store for 30 minutes waiting for an associate to announce the start time. Finally @ 5pm a worker did mention that to build a mini model parents had to wait in line and receive a card, when I asked where the line was I was pointed in the direction out of the store. Well, the line was huge and wrapped around a couple times. I waited in line from 5pm until 7pm. Fortunately we were handed a card, I was told as long as you get a mini model card, you are guaranteed a play set.
bummer ours is far away wish one was closer.
I took my kids to a model build last year. We also had to wait in line for at least 40 minutes before we could go in. They have stations set up in the store and only allow a certain number of kids in. They let kids in as other kids leave with their completed model. It was fun, but my 7 year old said he doesn’t want to go again. He is not a patient line stander 🙂
My kids love the Lego Mini Builds!! Thanks for posting what they are doing tonight, the kids have been asking and I did not know. 🙂 To pass the time in line, our kids usually read a book or play a card game while waiting.
