Best Buy Reward Zone Members: Earn 25 More FREE Points (Via the Facebook App)

If you’re a Best Buy Reward Zone program member (it’s free to sign up!), you can currently score yet another 25 FREE Reward Zone points! Just head to the Best Buy Reward Zone Facebook App by signing in or registering for an account, then click on the “User Poll” tab and scroll down to take the new Valentine’s Day A Week Away Poll. After taking the poll, a pop up should come up stating that you just earned 25 points! Yay!

And keep in mind that you only need 250 points to score a $5 Rewards Certificate!

    Anyone else have your points taken away today? I went in to the Best Buy site and my points went down to 0 and it is showing as -71 “point reduction” and “Annual Point Expiration. See Program Rules.” Seems strange to me as I’ve been buying A LOT at Best Buy lately (new phones, CPU, videos) and currently have $25 in rewards so it’s not over an inactive account?

      YES!!!! I was up to 240-something this morning and now I should have received another $5 reward. Not cool Best Buy, not cool!

      Yes my points went down to 50 after having taken this poll. I should have had around 100 or 125?

      I was just coming to post this same question! I had 249 points….now I have nothing! I have been active with the rewards like you (bought a tv, movies, etc) I’m not happy at all!!

    mine disappeared too (172). i read the program rules and it states that they are supposed to “go away” on january 1. i believe this is feb 6, so what is going on?

      I got 0 points today and yesterday…and they ‘took away’ 69 points but my point balance is 69 does that even make sense?

    Yup just noticed mine went from 100 down to 75 and I just did this one and it said I earned 25 but my points stayed at 75?????

      And I just noticed in my account it says 02/06/2013 -75 for annual point expiration but it’s not letting me get anymore? Weird…

    It took 249 points away from me today! I’m going to call them tomorrow, I’m very upset by this! That’s a whole reward!

    Sorry to hear so many others are having problems. With tonight’s user poll I was able to get up to 250 points again and got another $5 certificate (for a total of $10 just from the user polls). I was able to use my rewards # to get 15% off of a $15 iTunes giftcard, then I was able to enter both of my $5 reward certificates, and chose in-store pick up so I got the $15 iTunes giftcard for a grand total of $2.75 🙂

    I voted. Got 25 points and then when I logged back in they were gone -25. RU kidding me?

    my 160 points was taken off too. I called cs (18882378289) and they will give my points back within 48 hrs. when you call say rewards zone several times, instead of ‘pressing’ 1, to talk to a live person. hope this help.

      Thank you! Just called them and they are reinstating my points. I just started earning points this year and apparently they are getting a late start in “annualizing” everyones point balances. They were suppose to do it on Jan 1st.

    I seem to be missing 50 points from my account also. I don’t know if this will help or not, but when I logged in to my account it says:

    Your recent transactions may be delayed through 2/23.

    Why are my recent transactions not showing up yet?

    Between 2/3 and 2/23, new transactions will take longer to appear in your account. This is part of year-end account and system maintenance. During this time, you may still issue certificates if you have enough points available. No new transactions and/or points will be reflected in your account until after 2/23.

    Maybe while they are doing system maintenance things will be going wonky in our accounts?

    Just out of curiosity Collin, how many points have you earned through the user polls? (I didn’t start from the very beginning so I’m just curious as to what I missed out on)

    Okay weird, I just did the above poll and it gave me back my 25 I lost and the new 25, this think is crazy. Yay for points returned.

      same thing happened to me. I remember thinking yesterday after taking the poll I needed 2 more polls for the $10 certificate. when I logged on to take the poll today, my points were less. Took the poll and my acct jumped up 50 pts!!??

    I had just printed a $5 Rewards certificate and had 12 points left. I did a user poll and received 25. When I signed in earlier today, I saw I lost the 25 points I had earned. I just signed in to take another poll, noticed my points were still at 12 but, I did go to 67 afterwards. So, I did get the 25 points which seemed to be gone back again.

    Hi I just called and he didn’t know what was going on and that since it was an inconvenience and to make the customer happy he was adding 500 points to my account which I will see in 36-48 hours. Hope that is true! Free $10 and I was only out 100 some points. Cross my fingers!

    I called and the rep told me it was the end of the year (feb 6th), they issue you rewards if you have enough points and remove the rest.

    instead of just giving me the 130 points back, she gave me 250 for the inconvieince

    They took away 121 points from my account as well. I contacted them via the contact us link. Waiting to hear back.

    Lucky! I called twice, the first lady would only give me 25 points, and the second lady gave me the full 200 back that I had lost. Ugh! Nice, but annoying to have to deal with.

    WOW! I must have just gotten the single nicest man on Best Buy customer service! I didn’t understand their year-end explaination in the FAQ’s. As I was talking to him, first he said he was going to add back my points (179) then he said he was going to add enough to give me 250, then 400 and in the end he said he was going to give me 500 and gave me the confirmation number in case anything happened. I was shocked. Best Buy just earned a lot of respect in my books.
