Walmart here doesn’t have a store card so saving star deals do not track. That’s why sometimes I don’t do these saving star offers at Target. Have to be careful about the deals that I think that I’m getting!

I wish Walmart had a card for that reason too. I have been doing this deal at Kroger where they have been on sale for $1.88, so better deal over all because you can do savingstar.

I was just wondering this too. How would it track?

Saving Star only works at stores that have a store discount card (basically only grocery stores and drug stores like CVS). AND you have to have your card number registered on the Saving Star site as well (I forgot to register one of my cards and missed out).

You aren’t supposed to use manufacturer coupons AND Savingstar at the same time. It’s like using 2 manufacturer coupons on the same thing. This is from their FAQ page:

SavingStar eCoupons will work whether or not you combine them with other services’ coupons, but they are not intended to be used this way. Generally, manufacturers state that it is against their policies for shoppers to redeem more than one manufacturer’s coupon for the same purchase. Using in-store coupons in combination with SavingStar eCoupons is not a problem. Using coupons from other services in combination with a SavingStar “One or Many” deal is not a problem.

In the future, we may implement mechanisms to limit the combination of SavingStar eCoupons with other manufacturer coupons.
