For those of you who have Krogers by you, I bought a coupon book for Cincinnati area and there is a 10% off your total purchase coupon in it! I ended up buying two of the books because that coupon alone paid for the cost of my book last time they were on sale! I used them for when I did a big grocery shopping trip and it was totally worth it!
Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I’ve been kind of on the fence about buying one, but now that I know about the coupon, I think I’m going to buy these. There is a Kroger sister store in my area, so I can really use that coupon. Thanks for posting that!
Last year entertainment.com offered up entertainment books for $10.40 on tax day April 15th so I am holding out hopefully they do it again! : )
But it’s $11 now so small difference in price, and you lose 1 1/2 month not being able to use it. The book has been out for a while, and I believe most coupon would expire in Nov 2013…
Shanshan, it’s $11 per book but according to the deal above you have to buy 2. That’s $22 total. I’m holding out for a better deal. I’ve seen these go as low as $5 after cash back.
Well you’re right you have to buy 2. And the shipping is $1 per book so $2 for two books. Sure it always gets cheaper as it gets closer to expiry date. Last August I got one for 99c. So I guess you buy it sooner or later depend on how soon you want to use it or how long you’re willing to wait.
Is the Kroger coupon district specific? There were ones last year, but It listed what stores it could be used at. Thanks
We are going to be going on vacation this summer to Orlando. We are not going to Disney so will be spending our time (and money) at more local or chain places. Would it be worth purchasing this for our time there? For my 2nd book I would pick the city closet to home so we could get more use out of that one.
We got one for Dallas and one for Ft. Worth last year. They had lots of Albertsons coupons in them. Unfortunately we waited till August or September to get them and the coupons had already expired. Hopefully by ordering them earlier this year we will get our money’s worth.
I think I ordered it…but I never got a confirmation email, so maybe I didn’t complete. Anyone else?
I did not get confirmation email either. Indeed I was trying to find confirmation of my previous orders in the last few years, can’t find it anywhere in my email. But never had problem receiving the book, though.
Finally got the email! Just was delayed I suppose. So used to instant satisfaction!
Buyer beware — I bought this book last year and when I tried to use the coupons, businesses told me they had declined to participate, but the book company published coupons for them anyway. They DID NOT accept the coupons. These were local businesses, and I haven’t seen any other comments about this here, so maybe the larger stores will take the coupons. I’m just saying I paid for a useless coupon book, think about it before you buy it.
I am needing some coupons for a rental car for vacation. Can anyone who has one share if there are any coupons for the rental car companies and if so which books they are from?
This years book REALLY stinks for MD. I got mine on Black Friday for $10. Maybe I’ll break even. Maybe.
Yep, that’s why I stopped buying them when I was in the States. A few years back when they had those 5 off 50 Weis coupons it was a no brainer to buy it. But last year when I skimmed through it I didn’t see coupons I could use or that I couldn’t find in my local paper.
The only coupon I’ve had a problem with was the KFC coupon in last year’s book. Stopped in one day with my heart set on that for lunch, but the clerks said they were not accepting the Entertainment coupon. If they’re putting in coupons for businesses that didn’t sign up, I wonder if anyone is looking into the E company for some kind of fraud. But the movie coupons make the book worth while, so far at least.
50% off sale + $5 off for automatic renewel gave me 2 books for $25, so $12.50 ea & I didn’t have to mess with Shop At Home.
