NAN – thanks for the tip. My husband used his laptop to get his because it wouldnt worked on my ipad after i ordered mine.
I was using the iPad to purchase mine. Logged into my husbands account to purchase a second one and also got the same error. So I went upstairs and used the Mac and it went through just fine. So if you have another computer or something, try that.

Go to your active Groupons and bring up the voucher. Follow the link to activate it. Once activated, it will give you the option to connect to your Starbucks account and transfer the $10.
From Groupon’s question/answer section:
“You can transfer the amount onto your registered Starbucks Card to spend later. You would sign into your Starbucks.com account, then transfer your eGift onto one of your registered Starbucks Cards. You can do this by following the prompts after entering your redemption code and PIN from your Groupon voucher”

Yes, you can. It was easy to add because the link for doing that was provided in the groupon voucher. I clicked to activate the voucher & then it gave me another link to add it to an existing card.
How do you use the e-giftcard exactly?
to use the egift card: print, take to any starbucks, use it like any gift card, they will key in the numbers from your printed copy
Yay! I bought a Starbucks Giftcard for $5, did the (expired) deal where you registered it with Starbucks Rewards to earn a bonus $5, then did this groupon deal, paid another $5 and got a $5 bonus and transferred that my existing card. So a $20 Starbucks Card for only $10. So excited about this! 😀

Has anyone been able to transfer funds to their gold card? I got one Groupon to transfer, but the other won’t work. Not sure if the site is overloaded, or if there’s a restriction about gifting multiple Groupon-gift cards to a single gold card account.
Must be the website. Now Starbucks.com won’t even load.
Make sure you use the Groupon code to get the eGift card. Once I used the promo code to get that, I was able to load it on mine.
I had problems so, I used my old iPhone that has the Starbucks all on it and it worked great.

got one this morning! was able to load it up onto my starbucks app and then add it to my passbook on my iPhone. this is going to come in VERY handy on the road to florida for spring break…..only wish i could have purchased 2! 🙂
how do you use at starbucks when you have eGiftcard? can we load that amount /code to our existing card?
Yes you can. I use the iPhone app to do mine, but if you have a registered card I’m sure you can do it on the website too. With the app you can just pull it up and they scan it from there.
