My daughter was born in July 1984 as a preemie. At that time there weren’t very many preemie clothing lines available and what was around was extremely expensive. The original cabbage dolls had just come out. Our next door neighbor says why not dress her in cabbage patch doll clothes. So we did! She wore them the first 5 months of her life. Thank you for a fond memory.

      Cute!

I don’t know about anyone else, but my Targets don’t have any of the cute ones shown above. They only have ducks, rabbits, and poodles, none of which are as cute as you’d think! I’d snatch up that giraffe and my daughter would go nuts for the monkey.

I found that same monkey yesterday at Toys R Us. Was going to price match with the Target ad, but, for some reason, the monkey rang up $7, so no need to price match. Used coupon, too, and cashier was very impressed. All of the other ones at Toys R Us were barnyard animals–pig, duck, etc. Checked Target for them today–got 2 white fleece bunnies.

PS–They monkey is very, very cute in person!

There is also a sweet frog! That never seems to be in stores…

  4. Misty

I wish I could find the cute ones too! We have the cow..pig..and a puppy but man I want that frog, giraffe and monkey:)

  5. Keri

We didn’t find the really cute ones in store either. There was only a white bunny and the cow.

I also scored on the Folgers Gourmet Sekections today as Target had them sale priced at 4.19! With my $1off IP Q they came to $3.19 each! 🙂

I’m ready for Easter to be over so you’ll quit posting about these creepers! LOL

Will Walmart price match for these? Target is an hour from my house.

    • Susan

They should…guess it depends if they see Target as a competitor.

    • Brooke's Bargains

Yes they should price match 🙂

I looked at these in the store last night as I was considering getting one for a friend’s daughter’s third birthday. They are so small considering they are normally $9.99! And I don’t think they are that cute either (my store didn’t have the giraffe or monkey). Plus, once the “hood” falls down, it seems really hard to get it back onto the baby’s head, and I don’t think a kid could do it at all. I passed on it.

My 3.5yo daughter LOVES both stuffed animals and baby dolls. She probably plays with them more than any other type of toy she has. I showed her these little Cabbage Patch dolls while we were shopping at Target and she wasn’t interested in them at all. I’m glad I asked her before I snatched them up for her Easter basket. This born in the 80’s mommy is a bit disappointed though.

If you’re looking for another bargain, my daughter loved the Baby Alive doll that kicks its feet. It’s tiny (about the size of my hand) but the small size didn’t seem to bother her at all. It was on sale at my local Walmart for $8, which made it just $6 after the $2/1 coupon.

All called three different Targets and they were all sold out. I finally found some at Toy’s R Us and they were all marked down to $6.98. I got the cow, pig and a lion. They had a couple tigers, ducks and 1 frog. I thought about getting him, but I liked the lion better. The pig was $10.99 for some reason, but they priced matched and I have 2 coupons. This was in Joliet, IL.
