    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      YW! 🙂

    • Stephanie

You wounldnt happen to get that name from the creature from excel saga?

  2. Picchu

    slow*

    • kt

The CVS coupon machine has been printing $3 off any Revlon Face or Eye Cosmetics everyday this week. So it is a moneymaker if you have (3)crt plus (3) $1.00 Revlon eye coupons. Sweet Deal!!

      • Wilma Martel

Could you tell me what crt plus means? Thank you.

  3. leslie

Wowza, these are up fast 🙂 Thank you and Happy Easter to you and your family and all hipsters!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re most welcome! Happy Easter!

  4. Christine

I’ve never shopped at CVS, but I’ll be going by one tomorrow and was thinking about stopping in for some deals. I looked at Colin’s store guide and maybe I just overlooked it, but wondering if I can use ECBs the same day if I do multiple transactions or if it’s like RA where I have to wait until the next day? TIA and thanks Colin for all your hard work!

    • johnstelmack

No, you can use them the same day and from previous transactions on the next transaction.

    • Kim

You can use them right away

    • genie

You can use them at CVS without waiting.

    • Christine

Thanks all for the help, I have a few more questions…can I buy more than 1 of the same ecb item in the same transaction and still get both ecbs? Do ecbs cancel out other ecbs when rolled on the same items like RR do? Do I need to worry about coupon/item ratio? Thanks again!

      • Seth

Usually the CVS deals are one per card. You would have to check the bottom of your receipt. It will tell you if you have reached the spending limit or need XX amount of dollars to get more ECB’s back. Sometimes the deals are listed as 2 per card and in that case you could purchase them together or separately. ECB’s do not cancel each other out. So you could get 1 toothpaste and earn $2 ECB’s, then roll that into the next toothpaste and get back $2 ECB’s. It will just limit your OOP (out of pocket) cost. Coupon/item ratio isn’t a factor unless you are using a $5 off $30 purchase and a $4 off $20 purchase. For this, you would need to spend a total of $50 to use those coupons. CVS allows you to stack a CVS coupon (from the machine or a coupon with the CVS only logo) with a manufacture coupon as long as either coupon allows it. % off CVS coupons can only be used on non-sale items but can be used for items that produce ECB’s but are not on sale. CVS does adjust the coupon down per the policy but if a coupon auto scans they usually take the full price of the coupon, which then can be applied to your purchase. They will not give money back. Once you get the hang of CVS coupon policy you will see it much better than RA or Wags! If you have a coupon friendly CVS, you can always ask them. My CVS is super coupon friendly and know the policy and always answer my questions.

        • CoolSue

That’s nice of u Seth for the helpful reply. Christine also checkout the store guide for CVS and coupon beginners videos- learned a lot from there:) Happt Easter to all

      • Willa

If the offer at CVS is for a limit of 2 or more per household (card), you can purchase them all in one transaction. If it is a limit of 1 per household, you can only get one total during the sale and get the Extra Care Bucks.

  5. Seth

Wow…thanks Collin for the early addition!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  6. Heather

Where can we find the $15 Olay rebate? I am only able to find the P&G one. Thank you for all you do!!!

    • Rebe

Same here. Its not on their website 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I wonder if they meant the P&G rebate?! I can’t seem to find it either!

  7. Lauren

Does anyone know if we can use more than one $2.50/1 Brookside store coupon per CVS account? It says one coupon per customer, but I’m wondering if I can use multiple coupons over several days or will it beep for each subsequent use? I’ve had that happen with CVS coupons before.

    • genie

I was able to use more than one with no problem.

      • Nicole

So sad story here I got these because they were free tried them out and I am now obsessed with them! not good for my diet lol! So yes you can use multiple, I have bought 4 and my experience is that if you use 2 in one transaction of the $2.50/1 it will beep most cashiers will just push it through though. You won’t have any problem splitting it is separate transactions though.

        • irene

Yep, me too. I think they’re laced with crack!!

        • Dena

They sell them in a HUGE bag at Costco, for about $9!!…totally worth it, one bag has lasted us quite awhile!

    • daltonjsmom

I was only able to us one $2.50 per transaction.

    • Katie

I had to do two separate transactions. The computer would not scan them both in the same transaction.

  8. Molly

How are you guys doing the UPC for the rebate? Now is asking for the actual UPC from the package.

    • Susan

If you are talking about the PandG rebate, it’s a mistake. I called them about how in the world to send in the UPCs, and the lady knew my question before I even asked it! She said to just write down the UPC numbers as usual and not to worry about sending the barcodes.

  9. Guest

There is a .25/1 Dawn product and .50/1 Dawn Hand Renewal in the April P&G insert. Final cost as low as .49

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks! Forgot about that coupon!

  10. Kayla G

I have a $1 off any Clear therapy MQ. Can it be used with the Magic Coupon machine print out?

    • jiya

      yes u can use that (1cvs coupon + 1mf coupon) 🙂

      • Coupondiva

The manufacturers coupon will probably beep since the cvs coupon will take off the 4.99. My cvs always reduce down coupons so you won’t get overage. So they would look and tell me that they can’t take it since it would create an overage. You can always try and see what happens. (My cvs is very anti-couponing)

        • Sandy

Give the MFQ first, then the CVS q will deduct the 4.99. You will need to be certain you purchase something else to consume the overage.

      • lisy

no money make. you canuse, but nothing will change

        • Stephanie

I must have a great CVS because I have gotten overage before. Didn’t think I would and then the cashier told me to grab some cheap candy at the register to “fill in” the price!

    • kristin

It wouldn’t help to use a manufacturer coupon since at cvs you do not get overage. It might “work” but the store is already giving it free, so i wouldn’t even try it. 🙂

      • jiya

I thought she was talking about can she stack cvs +mf coupon. I haven’t read that on clear shampoo deal….I was sleepy in the morning:)

      • Jennifer

This is a very interesting topic. If CVS accepts the manufacturer’s coupon, they would be better off…they will be giving away the product which will “cost” them $3.99 ($4.99 – $1 they will get reimbursed by manufacturer). If they don’t accept that coupon, they would be giving the product away and it will cost them $4.99. In this case, they really should accept that manufacturer’s coupon and give you the $1 overage since it will benefit both CVS and the customer. The manufacturer will be less $1, but that’s their marketing/advertising cost for giving out coupons. Too bad my CVS still doesn’t do overage although in cases like this, they really should!

        • mindy

I use the $3 peelie and cvs coupon on the shampoo and it worked, just have to get something to cover the $3 overage.

          • natasha

I did the same thing! I just grabbed another bottle of shampoo for my guy and it ended up having another peelie on it. we got 3 bottles of the clear shampoo and I payed a total of $2.89 then got back $1.25 from Ibotta so I paid $1.64 for 3 bottles. It was very awesome!

  11. jen

    Thanks Collin!! Hoppy Easter 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks! Hoppy Easter to you too! 😉

  12. Mika

I bought cover girl nail polish but it was buy one get one 1/2 off. For the p&g rebate, do I count the original price or the price after the 1/2 off?

    • AG

You count the price on your receipt. You can’t claim full cost on the 2nd one because it will be on the receipt at 50% off.

  13. mackyjane

There is no link for the snickers coupon.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oopsie! Thanks!

  14. Kristen

If anyone gets extra copies of papers tomorrow and wants to trade the tide/ bounce $3/3 manufacturer coupon in P&G please let me know. Thanks!! kristensteele28@yahoo.com

  15. paula

I did the Maxwell instant coffee deal today which stated limit one but I bought three because such an awesome deal even without the reward and I got 2 rewards, do not know if that will be for everyone but thought I would give heads up.

  16. Marie

If I use the bogo gillette coupon can I use another manuf coupon with it?

    • jimena

I did the gillete deal today . buy one get one 50% off , my coupon was buy one get one free , I asked and the cashier wasnt sure if i could use a extra coupon but she said if it beeps we wont push it through , i did presenting the $2/1 first and then the buy one get one free and it worked perfectly . they just give u free the 50% off product but it was still an ok deal .

Wine rebates for CA, AZ, NM, NV, IL, KY and MI shoppers….about $1.50 a bottle for Turning Leaf wine after rebate!

  18. Heather

Has anyone been successful in using the $4 off 20 with the CVS $3 off Revlon product? I was wondering, because I tried to do a similiar deal a couple weeks ago and ran into some problems. Thanks for any help!

    • cely

I was able to combine both coupons $4 off 20 and Cvs $3 off Revlon. It worked fine for me!

    • Miranda

I used it without a problem. She just scanned my 4/20 Q first.

    • Sandy

I got 2 $3/1 Revlon product q’s from the MCM and I had 2 $1 MFQ. I bought 2 Revlon eye shadows priced at $5.49, on sale this week BOGO50%. Together they were $7.48. I bought other things as well. I used the $4/$20 first, then the 2 $1 MFQ’s then the 2 $3/1 CVS q’s without any problem.

      • marnie

My cvs in so cal wouldn’t let me use the $3 off of $15 and 2 cvs $3 off of 1 Revlon tonight. I have never had that happen. I told the manager that and she said she would push one through but not 2. She said it is something new. I think I am going to ask customer service tomorrow. I hope they don’t start doing that.

    • Anon

My $5/$30 & $3 Revlon CRTs beeped yesterday when I tried. My cashier voided and tried ringing it the other way around, but either way I couldn’t get both to work. If she used the 6 CRTs first, it wouldn’t prompt her to use the $5/$30 & if she used my $5/$30, the register wouldn’t accept a single $3 CRT. Ugh!!!

  19. Jami

Anyone use CVS brand diapers? Would you recommend them?

    • theresa

I bought a bunch on clearance last year and have been happy with them. I would buy them again. HTH!

    • Kristin

When the CVS packaging changed last year, I purchased tons of diapers and wipes on clearance and have been happy with the product. They did not leak and worked well on my 2 year old.

Anyone know what the cheapest cosmetic purchase is?

I got a $4 off $12 on cosmetics from the MCM this morning. So I want to do the Almay deal, but that would total $11.98. I don’t think you can use those coupons unless it actually totals $12 so anyone know what the littlest cosmetic purchase is that I could add on???

    • Rebecca

As I understand it has to be 98% of the total. which is $11.76. So they should take it.

    • A.R

      nin,
Please let us know if the deal worked fine. Thanks!

      • nin

I just went and it worked, BUT one of the eye shadows rang up as $7.99, instead of $5.99. I didn’t realize until when she said the total. So, she had already scanned in the $5 manufacturer Q and $4 off $12 CVS Q.

She couldn’t figure out why the one eye shadow rang as $7.99, it was the same as the other one, just a different color. (bold nudes) Just FYI-double check your receipts.

    • Jami

I did the Almay deal this morning and it worked out fine. Using the $5/2 coupon, $4/$12, and figuring in ECBs that makes both of the products free!! 🙂

      • nin

Yay! Thanks I will try it tomorrow. There is nothing else I need to buy so it’ll just be the Almay. I’ll add the CG eyeshadow if I need to, but was checking to see of there was any $1 nailpolish or something because I won’t need anymore eyeshadow after the 2 Almay.

Hope everyone planning to do the Almay scans their card first, sounds like a lot of people are getting the $4 off $12.

    • Sandy

I plan on waiting until Saturday. I want the Physician’s Formula BB foundation and it’s $13.99. Starting on the 7th, there’s a deal for $6 off any Physician’s Formula make-up of at least $6.49. $13.99-$4/$12-$6 PF -$3 peelie I have = .99. Not sure if I will be able to pull it off. The computer may deduct the $6 right away and then I can’t use my $4 off $12 MCM coupon.

      • mel

I don’t think that will work.. the register will take off the $6 first and the $4/12 will beep since you didn’t meet the minimum.

I didn’t notice an entry about the Coppertone, isn’t it a good deal? If not, any other ideas need to stock up for an upcoming vacation. Thanks!

    • Emily

Keep your eye out at target. Last year bottles had target coupons hanging from the bottles. We paired it with a manuf. coupon and got a great deal. We stocked up on a variety of SPF for a cruise and family reunion. We still have enough left over for this summer.

      • Sunflowerfla

        Thanks Emily

Had an amazinggggg shopping spree tonight. I love my CVS!! I go on Saturday after 4pm in order to get current and upcoming sale prices. I bought $167 worth of items and paid (first time ever that I paid OOP) $25 🙁 But…I left with $23ecbs, so not such a bad deal lol 🙂 I did 3 transactions and used a ton of CVS & manuf qpons as well as ECBs. And the best part is that not only do they take expired CVS qpons, they also will take as many CVS qpons as is allowed by my transaction (if I my total is $70, I can use a $10/$50 and a $4/$20 and if I have 3 Revlon items I am able to use 3 CVS Revlon qpons, etc etc). I don’t understand how one CVS will take expired qpons and another one won’t. Anyone know? Also, I did the Gillette razor deal Sat 3/30 (after 4pm). How can I find out if I do the deal again today (Sun 3/31) will I get another $4ecb? Thanks for any replies. And here is my list from yesterday:
    CVS 3/30/13

    (2) Men’s Dove deod
    (1) Purex laundry detergent
    (1)Neutrogena face cream
    (2) bottles fish oil
    (4) boxes Fiber One cereal
    (4) Dawn dish deterg
    (1) 24-pk bottled water
    (1) Airwick warmer
    (3) 2-pks Airwick oil
    (2) boxes Arm&Ham dryer sheets
    (4) 2-liter sodas
    (2) boxes Cottonelle wipes
    (1) bag candy
    (3) 12-pks toilet paper
    (1) pkg sleep aid pills
    (2) cans Progresso soups
    (1) Gillette razor
    (1) Physiciqn Form. blush
    Total cost: $167.50
    I paid $25.00
    They paid me back $23.00
    So really paid $2.00 🙂

*****Ohhhh…..one more thing: There was an end-cap set up at the front of the store with bottles of wine reduced 50% off!! Gonna come in handy during the marathon basketball games today!!

    • Kidsallgone

Sorry for any confusion but I shopped last night (Sat night) 🙂

    • Tia

      Great score!

      • Kidsallgone

Thanks Tia! I’m hoping to go back for more Monday and hoping they will accept my manufacture’s qpons that expire 3/31 (fingers crossed). I’m sad that I don’t have anymore $10/$50 (etc) type qpons but I did so well Sat night that I can’t complain 🙂

  23. Savedbycoupons

None of my local CVS stores change over until midnight and only one of them is a 24 hour store. The other used to change the sales at around 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays but too many couponers changed that. I had an awesome shopping early morning, though. I paid $.30 for all 4 Snickers candy with the 2 BOGOFS. Today I got $65 worth of goodies for only paid $13. Plus, I will earn $1.75 from Ibotta. Thank you Collin for all your hard work and I hope everyone has a blessed Easter!

    • katee

how did you use TWO of the free cvs clear coupons? if it’s only one per card…

      • katee

sorry that was meant for the comment below yours

        • Sarah

I didnt use 2 of the free CVS clear coupons. It the section where I add up my order, the $9.98 ($4.99 x 2) is what I paid for the shampoo. Hope that helps.

  24. Sarah

I was able to use (2) $3 peelies for the Clear Shampoo deal in addition to the $4.99 CVS coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine which made it a bonus money maker at the store and with Ibotta.

I used my $1.01 overage to splurge on 2 “throwback” Herbal Essence conditioners which were $3.33 each (3/$10) which is the cheapest I have found even at Wal-Mart & Target. I have been waiting patiently to buy these and my $1/2 Herbal Essences mq was expiring today. It’s funny how now I consider $5 a splurge, but once you start couponing, you know how far a $1 can be stretched for personal care products. Haha.

    2 – Clear Men’s Shampoo: $9.98 ($4.99 x 2) – $10.99 in coupons ($4.99 CVS + $6 mq) = $1.01 in overage

    2 – Herbal Essence Conditioners – $6.67 – $1 mq = $5.67

Total = $4.66 and I am very excited about my conditioner. Its the little things in life 🙂

    Happy Easter Everyone!

  25. Tina

Went over to my deserted cvs today, easter sunday.
Bought 20 bottles of assorted pantene shampoo and conditioner that were on sale 2 for $6. I used 10 B1G1 free coupons that took off $4.99 each.
I also had a $5 off $30 coupon from CVS in my email.

Total out of pocket was $5.40 and I’m going to send it in for the $15 rebate. 🙂

Also got my free bottle of clear shampoo. 🙂

    • Samantha

Where are the BOGO coupons from, if you don’t mind me asking?

      • Tina

They were in a mid-month p&g insert last month. The coupons expired on the 31st.

    • cherry

GOOD JOB! that sounds like REAL stockpiling to me!

    Green Bag Tags-

I went to CVS and they scanned my tag as usual, but it didn’t show up on the bottom of my receipt where it keep track, it just showed on top with the other scanned purchases. Anyway, it’s the second time in a row. I know a lot of folks have heard they are are doing away with the tags, maybe this is the start? Anyone else not having it show on the bottom of their receipt?

    • Sarah

Didn’t show up on mine receipt today either 🙁 Next time I see my favorite CVS manager I will ask him. He has told me a few times the green bag tags where going to go away but he wasnt sure when.

    • Valerie L.

This happened to me as well, I really liked the fact that CVS gave me the ECB for being eco friendly. The girl who checks me out on Sunday warned me about it, that it might not show up because they had tested it earlier, however she wasn’t sure why.

    • Emily

The program no longer shows up on their website.

    • Tricia

It is showing up on the receipt again, I just did it 15 minutes ago, and it was my 4th one so I got an ECB too 🙂

    • Vanessa

(Houston,Tx.) About a month or so ago my CVS discontinued the bag tag program. The manager allowed me to receive my earned $1ecb then bought back the tag from me.

  27. jiya

Can someone please tell me from last 2 months I don’t have any addition in my beauty purchse total ?! It doesn’t matter what I buy. What comes under beauty?

    • Jenn

JIYA- This is from the CVS Beauty Club website. I would call them if you are purchasing the items and they don’t seem to be adding up.

did anyone have trouble with the pulsar toothbrush? I went tonight and it beeped. Tehy told me it was b/c it was a dipsosable and not a replacable battery. Is that true? Please help me 🙁

  29. Nancy

There are more coupons available through the Nature Made Wellness Program. You enter the number printed on the side of the bottle to earn more coupons in $3.50 and $7.00 denominations.

  30. cherry

I’m just wondering, do you ever get headaches typing all this up and researching it?! I know I would! Thank you again!

  31. AnnaC

Off topic, would anyone have any extra Swheat Scoop Cat Litter coupons they don’t need? I have lots of coupons to trade too. Please email me at annac122609@gmail.com Thank you very much! Happy April! 🙂

    • diana

Do u know if it was from red plum, ss? That way I can look it up.

  32. Ruth

sorry if this is a dumb question i am new to couponing
FOr this deal can i use a manufacture coupon for a free 20 oz Sobe and end up getting both of them for free?

Gatorade 32 oz, Sobe lifewater 20 oz or Lipton tea 20 oz Buy 1 get 1 Free
    Final cost Varies!

  33. Lynn

I got the Clean and Clear shampoo deal but when I tried to do the Ibotta deal it wouldn’t work. When I scanned the barcode it said it didn’t match. I double checked everything and they match. I was wondering if they stopped it because they know we didn’t actually pay for them. Did anyone else have this problem?

    • KP

My Ibotta account actually showed $1.25 deals for Clear shampoo (1 deal for men’s and 1 for women’s), not the 2-in-1. After I’ve done the deal, the 2-in-one now popped up and replaced the old one. Make sure you’re doing the right deal as it might not be the same for every Ibotta account. If everything checked out and it still doesnt work, I would call customer service.

      • Lynn

Thanks, yes I see both also. I think it might be that I got one that was 25% bigger even though it says 12oz or larger. I don’t see a customer service number just an e-mail.

  34. A.R

quick question- I’ve been shopping a lot over the last few months at CVS. But I did not receive any quarterly extrabuck rewards. What am I doing wrong? How can I straighten it out?.. thanks!!

    • M

      A.R.
Depending on how much you actually spent you may not have done anything wrong. For us couponers not getting anything back or less than a $1 in quarterly bucks means we used our coupons wisely and didn’t spend a lot of pocket dollars. For me personally that is a very good thing as I like to keep my OOP as low as possible. On the other hand if your quarterly spending was quite high and your 2% calculates into several dollars then I would contact C/S so that they can look into the matter and issue any bucks due you. 35. czuazua

I have a question about the $15 p&g rebate offer. If you buy the item using a coupon do you still count the regular price of the item towards the $50?

    • mel.

You circle the price on the receipt, before coupons.

      • czuazua

        thanks

  36. anna

question about pampers deal. can i stack the 1.50 off pampers jumbo pack from cvs.com/coupons with the 1.50/1 pampers coupn from coupons.com? that would make for an even better deal. tia

    • Seth

I think the two coupons you’re talking about are both manufacture coupons. If that’s the case, you would not be able to use both of those coupons. If one read “only redeemable at CVS”, then yes you would be able to use both.

      • anna

yeah, i just printed it out and it is a regular coupon, plus, it is linked to coupons.com, so can’t print more. bummer!
