I had an account with ING from 15 years ago that I never used and lost my login info to.I tried to do this deal and they came up with the message that I already had a checking account with them so I guess I’m screwed from getting in on this deal.
I have a capital one savings account and I love it. Very easy to save money and the rewards add up quickly. I need to cash out and move my money into their new account that has a higher interest rate!
Also, I have had their savings or a few years and their dividend is one of the highest around. It was up to 1% now it’s a little lower… If you keep your savings in there you can make some nice interest! It’s super easy to transfer money as well.
What is checkmate and how does it work to deposit checks? I presume you have to mail them in…..?
Checkmate is a part of their app. You can deposit checks by downloading their app on your smart phone and following their process of taking pictures of the checks. I’ve been doing this since the beginning of the year and I love it! No more trips to the bank! I just make a little note on each check when I deposited and put them all in an envelope so I am always sure that it’s been deposited before.

its a smartphone/iphone APP, you snap a pic of the front/back of the ck and its deposited within a day (depending on the amount) Comes in handy when you don’t feel like going to the bank! I made dh download the app to my phone so I can “deposit” my rebate cks right when I get them in the mail!

All banks required your SSN. The $50 bonus is reported to you as interest income at the end of the year. This truly is a great company for banking. I’ve been with them since they first started online 12+ years ago.

With US Bank if you save $1000 you get a $50 bonus and then another $50 for keeping it in for 12 months. Also I believe if you pay three bills using bill pay you get a bonus of $15 and they can be to anyone.
Just a word of caution – be on top of this deal because one slight thing and you could lose the bonus. I signed up last Thanksgiving and because of how thorough they are, they put a hold on my account cause I had just moved and they were somehow tracking me back to my old address. I lost about a month with the back and forth. When I tried to explain the situation, they were very sorry but could not make any exceptions. Easy money to be sure – just be sure to get your transactions done sooner than later

You should also mention Chase. You get 150 for signing up – it does have to be open for 6 months and you have to have a minimum balance/direct deposit, but it’s pretty easy. Plus, you can buy a coupon code on ebay to get 200
