This means it is calculated before manufacturers coupons, right? So we can spend less than 30 oop and still earn 5000 pts if we use manufacturers coupons?

    • chrissy1925

That is correct. You just have to make sure that your total equals at least $30 AFTER they apply any WALGREENS coupons. The manufacturer coupons can reduce the $30 and not affect you getting the 5,000 points. Hope this is clear enough.

Are RRs considered Walgreens coupons, or manufacturer’s coupons?

        • LaToya

Just did it….answered my own question – RRs do work.

          • vy.n.huynh@gmail.com

LaToya, so RRs are considered manufacturers coupons?

            • Diana

Yes, they are. Use as many RR’s as you want (with fillers) and you will still get your points.

Thanks, In that case here are some deals I’m thinking of
most require large quantities still trying to figure out how to mix and match for good deals without large quantities

Cereal- general mills and cascadian 1.99 each
    buy 16 for $32
use $8 in coupons (or more but it looked like each type had 50c or more available)
pay 24 oop get 13000 bal reward
Like getting 16 boxes for $11 so 69 cents per box (or less if buy the kinds with higher value coupons)
Might be great for foodbank donation for those who don’t need quite that much cereal

    Purell
buy 10 for 29.90 plus small filler item (39cent butterfinger?)
    use $5 in coupons $1/2
pay approx 25 oop get 11000 balance
like paying $14 for 10 or $1.40 each

Lysol or resolve products 2 for $5
    buy 12 for $30
use combinations of coupons (.25-.75) guessing around $4 depending on combo
pay $26 oop get 8000 balance
like getting 12 items for $18 or $1.50 each

Scrubbing bubbles, shout, windex, glade etc 2 for $6
    buy 10 for $30
use approx $5 of coupons (or more if have several glade coups)
pay $25 oop get 11000 balance points
like getting 10 items for $14 or $1.40 each

    reach floss 2 for $6
    buy 10 for $30
    use $5 coupons
pay $25 oop get $3 RR and 20000 balance
like paying $2 for 10 or 20 cents each and boy wont your dentist be happy!

Hope these numbers are right, please let me know if you see an error in my reasoning. Would prefer to find out before I get to the checkout.

      Thinking of doing this combo:

      2 bandaids $6 (3000 pts)
      2 neosporin $8 (3000 pts)
      4 reach $12 (6000 pt)
      4 resolve or lysol $10 (1000 pts)
      $36- $1 bandaid coup – $2*2 neosporin coup – $1*2 reach coup -$0.50*4 lysol/resolve coups
      $27 oop get $3rr and 18000 pts
like getting it all for $6 then submit $5 rebate for neosporin/band-aid so $1!!

Do you think the rebate would work or do I need to spend $1 more on the rebate products since after manu coupons I am only paying $9 or is it figured before coupons?

    • Diana

I did the Scrubbing Bubbles deal just now and for every 4 I bought, I got 2,000 points AND a $3 RR (Catalina deal) so do yours 4 at a time or else only one RR will print.

      • Maureen

Wonder if that’s just scrubbing bubbles or also the shout, Windex and other cleaning items in that group too. I might have to go back up to Walgreens later today. Thanks for the info.

  3. Carol

Maureen, Thanks for coming up with these scenarios. I hope someone answers your question about the rebate.

  4. jenn

if you shop online you also get $10 off of a $50 purchase with 10off50 code, and you always get free shipping for over $25

  5. Linda

Has anyone tried this yet? I noticed that some folks are talking about getting Band-Aids, Neosporin, Reach Floss etc. The fine print says not good on healthcare items…seems kind of ambiguous, but wouldn’t those items be considered healthcare?

I want to get vitamins, Glucerna and Tylenol, but those are all in the “healthcare”isle as well.

    Thoughts?

    • LaToya

I had the Neosporin and the Benedryl and Biotene in my order…and it gave it to me.

    • Ashley

right? i was curious if it worked if i added diapers to the mix

  6. allison

Does anyone know what they mean by store credit – I have a Walgreens gift card and am curious if they won’t give me the 5000 pts if I pay with a Walgreens gift card. I have never heard of “store credit” before at Walgreens. Any replies would be greatly appreciated!!

    • katee

the gift card will make you not get the points. don’t use it

      • Diana

Katee is mistaken. I just did 3 transactions and used a gift card to pay and still got my 5,000 points all 3 times. I think store credit refers to your points. If you pay with your points, you won’t get the 5,000.

    • crystal

I believe if you return something, and they put it on a Walgreens card, for store credit, then you won’t get points. Maybe that is what katee is referring to.

      • Allison

Thanks all. Now it is clear that the store credit refers to when you return something on a red Walgreens card and gift cards are different. Thank you so much for all your responses!!! Now off to shop!

  7. Sara

This deal can be done more than once also! I went to a few Walgreens this morning and did it twice! 5,000 points each time! Happy, happy, happy!!

  8. Beth

I just left Walgreen’s & spent $30.44 after coupons & RR. Because it said on my reciept that I’d I earned 5,000 points for something I’d bought NOT for spending $30 I asked about the other 5,000 points. The shift manager told me that he’d never heard of the today’s spend $30 get 5,000 points. They wanted me to print out the email I’d gotten and bring it back to get the points. I ended up calling customer service & they gave me the points. I’m happy now! Today I earned 12,200 points!

  9. adrienne

there is the $2 off if two Lysol coupon in the cons and flu book. I bought 12 Lysol products. 2/$5 =$30 minus $12 coupons =$18 opp 8,000 points like $10 for 12 Lysol products .83 each

  10. Lisa

IF you’re shopping online there’s a code for “10off50” and there’s this awesome pure fitness elliptical/bike $229 down to $99, and it comes out $104 (the free shipping is upto 25 lbs. and this is 50 lbs), but wow, $104 shipped to your house!?

    • Nim

On top of that it’s eligible for 5000 points and go thru rebates for 3.5% back. I just ordered one, thanks Lisa!!

  11. Vanessa

Great deal on Pediacare gentle vapors plug ins refills if you use them. Buy 8 pediacare gentle vapors refills and 2 pediacare fever reducer = 41.63 before tax ( use 10off50 code) get 35,000 balance rewards points.
I highly recommend these to anyone with a baby who has a cold. My baby sleeps so much better with one of these going in her room when she’s sick.

    • Vanessa

Oops, it was actually 10 refills and 2 fever reducers = 41.63, get 35,000 balance rewards points.
