I called them and they said this is a broker rebate (for stores that do not participate in other in-store promotions). The CVS Corp. listed is a store in Hawaii. They said CVS Pharmacy working under the name CVS Caremark Corp. is not the same as CVS Corp. I asked what would happen with my receipt and UPC codes and he said I would receive a postcard in the mail stating I did not buy from a participating retailer. My UPC codes and receipt would be discarded.

look for hang tags with the mm orbit soda coupons too. found them on 7up sunkist, etc they were supposed to be .97 cents but rang up 1.87 last week? maybe 2 weeks ago i cant remember what day i went there and found them, had to make a run so it wasnt an usual trip. anyways….there was also several a red machine coupons printed lately for .75/2 mms so bettered the deal and had 20% and didnt feel like running back in a returning the soda. still not too bad.

  4. Carol

In deal scenario #2 of the Neosporin and Benadryl deal does buying only these 2 items ALSO qualify for the “Plus, buy $10 worth of select First Aid products and get a $5 check and First Aid Bag (plus $17 in coupons) in the mail.” ? Just wondering if these are both considered First Aid so can I send in for $5?

    • hammer

the rebate form says ” minimum purchase of $10 must include at least one neosporin ointment or cream and one band aid brand adhesive bandages. excludes trial sizes and red cross brand first aid kits”

      • Carol

Thank you! So I need to get some band aids.

    • Carol

I can’t find the $1/2 band aid coupon on coupons.com. Does anyone know if it is in a particular zip code?

  5. couponer

For the U by Kotex deal, my CVS coupon says “cannot be combined with any other coupon.”

    • Stephanie

      Mine too ๐Ÿ™

    • Shayla

mine too but earlier this week, there was a big debate on that so I thought I would try it and the system took both coupons. I think it means not to be combined with any other CVS coupon, or their system would beep. That’s my experience with coupons with verbiage like this.

      • Angie

That’s what I was thinking, too. Thanks for posting that it works. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. picchu24

Thank you so much, Collin!! You have a great weekend!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • picchu24

All thru this week the coupon machine has been printing a $3 off Revlon cosmetics which when combined will make a sweet deal!!

      • hammer

used 4 of them this week (b1g1 50% get $5 ecb wyb $15) and the $4/$20 order and $5 ecb from last week. got 2 at $7.99 and 2 at $5.79 and 1 2lt coke. paid 71 cents and $5 ecb and got back $5 ecb. this weeks deal much better if you have the $4/$20 from email. total was $21.67 after tax. used 4 $3/1 (-$12) and $4/$20. total then was $5.71. used $5 ecb and got back $5.

      • Lisa

I think these match ups were better when Colin used to do field trips and the scenarios included the magic machine coupons. It also helped if the deal was not panning out in the store the way it projected on paper. Now you can only use them as a base to figure out your best deal. The scenarios still come in handy but many times you can do better than what is suggested or worse depending on what happens in the store.

        • Rebe

Collin does not have a CVS close to her anymore. I am still VERY GRATEFUL to her for her excellent match ups. After all I have learned on this site I am confident enough I can come up with my own escenarios adding the CVS coupons I get here and there. Also fellow hipsters are great at commenting on what other scenarios they have cooked up! ๐Ÿ™‚

        • Stacy Y.

Couponing makes you think, you can’t expect Collin to do EVERYTHING for us. She has taught me so much about saving money I could never repay her for that. When I find a better deal than what is posted, I credit her anyway since her website, video tutorials AND my fellow Hip2Save fans taught me everything I know about making the most of my $$ and coupons. You don’t get every deal and that’s ok, as Collin says. The time it takes to come up with the posted scenarios is appreciated, she posts her recommended ones and we can alter as we need or as the store situation changes. If she posted ever single scenario that COULD happen her post would never come because it would take days to type up.

I am baffled at criticism that sometimes comes after she posts? I wonder if some people would just like her to come to their store and just do the shopping for them! Lol. She appreciates our feedback and asking questions, but asking her to do more leg work to make it easier and less “thinking” for us is a bit greedy IMO.

Be grateful for the time she does save all of us and keep those brain cells working by thinking and adjusting once you get to the store and maybe the exact posted scenario doesn’t pan out. Appreciation for everything you do Collin!

          • Kidsallgone

I usually jot down the items I want to get after looking at the ad online on Thursday and then Collin’s post on Saturday. Then I dig through my coupons and pull out the ones I need. When I get to the store it takes seconds to grab the items on my list. Sometimes I find everything, and sometimes I get a raincheck for the ones I don’t find. The I probably spend at least 45 minutes quietly sitting in the pharmacy figuring out my scenario(s). It’s good for this old brain lol! Last night at 10pm I bought these items from last week’s ad:
            2 Fiber One cereals $6.00
            1 case of water (24 pk) $2.44
            1 Colgate toothpaste $3.00
            4 pkgs Arm/Hammer dryer sheets $4.59 x 2 = $9.18 (BOGO)
            2 men’s Nivea shaving cream $4.59 x 2 = $9.18
            $29.80 Total
            – $5.00 off $30 (total was close enough to $30)
-$3.00 off 2 Nivea (manuf qpon)
            -$2.00 off Colgate (CVS qpon)
            -$0.75 off Colgate (manuf qpon)
            -$1.84 (20% off/CVS qpon)
            -$10.00 ECB
            -$05.00 ECB
            -$02.00 ECB
            -$00.21 ECB
            Paid: $0.00
Got back $5.00 ECB for 2 Nivea products

Then at 11pm I bought items for this week’s ad:
            3 Twin-pks AirWick refills
            2 Crest 3-D White toothpaste
            1 Physicians Formula concealer
            1 Revlon concealer
            2 Almay makeup remover towelettes
            2 Colgate Optic White toothpaste
            1 men’s Gillette disposable razors
            Total: $65.25
Paid: $16.00 (used too many qpons to post)
            Got back:
            $5.00 Airwick
            $4.00 Crest
            $5.00 Colgate
            $3.00 Gillette
            $7.00 Physicians Formula
            $4.00 Almay
            $4.00 Revlon
            Total back: $32.00

**There are more items that I want to get, but I will wait until next Saturday to do both deals after 4pm at another store that closes at 9pm. That way I can hope for a $/$$ or % off coupon that may get emailed to me ๐Ÿ™‚
Happy shopping hipsters! And sorry I rambled on and on ๐Ÿ˜‰

Collin, for the $2.50 Brookside pouches there is no link to click on. Thank you.

    • Molly

sorry! I forgot to click the follow up comments ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oops thanks! Just added it in! ๐Ÿ˜€

  10. katie

for the first aid rebate, one item MUST be neosporin and another MUST be bandaids, so your scenario without neosporin wouldn’t work for the rebate.

  11. andrew

ty Collin you help me save sssoo much, when you get out this way i’ll take you to lunch.

  12. Priya

Thanks Collin! On a completely different note, does anyone have any Gymbucks they’re not going to use? I wanted to get an outfit for my daughter’s birthday and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  13. Candace

    Question on the Huggies deal:
If the total for 3 packs comes out to be $29.97 in the deal scenario, & you get 10 ECB for every $30 spent, will it still spit out the ECB if you are .03 short of the $30? Do you need to buy 4 to throw the total over?? Im hoping not, because then it wouldn’t be as sweet of a deal & I just got a $5 off $30 ECB in my email, which would really make for a great deal! Thanks in advance.

    • mel

ecb spend deals will print at 98%, so as long as your total is $29.40 before any coupons, you’re good.

    • katie

unlike rite aid, cvs will givve you the ecb if you spend at least 98% of the requirement.

      • Candace

Thank you for the info. Good to know!

  14. Claire

For the huggies deal, there is also the Kimberley clark rebate – buy $25 get $5 back or buy $35 get $10 back. Makes for an even better deal! Thank you Collin! I really, really appreciate you getting these match ups up so early on a Saturday!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks Claire! However, it looks like CVS is not a participating retailer in this promotion ๐Ÿ™

      • mel

someone on weusecoupons called and confirmed that cvs IS a participating store.

        • Frugal Mom

Always do your OWN research. I called Kimberly-Clark and they said that they don’t have a for sure answer. They are waiting to hear from the promotions committee as to whether CVS Pharmacy falls under CVS Corp. They could very well NOT be the same…and tons of people could send in their rebate forms only to be disappointed to find out that CVS Pharmacy is not a participating retailer.

          • mel

So true! I decided to call this morning and the rep said they were still waiting for clarification. When I called back this afternoon, I was told that CVS isn’t a participating store, it should have said CVS/Long’s Hawaii, but b/c of the error, any qualifying purchase made at CVS would be honored on receipts dated only from
            3/31 – 4/22.

      • Shayla

man, I wish KC would allow you to combine receipts. I “roll” ECBs and totally forgot about the rebate. Bummed now…at least I have a couple of months to “do the deal” some other time!

    • Sarah

i got that rebate form. Forgot about it. thanks

    • eyez

where do you get the Kimberly Clark rebate form? thanks in advance

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks Claire! I must have completely overlooked that CVS was a participating retailer. I’m adding this in to the scenario now!

      • Olga

It has to be $25 in one transaction.

        • Megan

the u by kotex count toward the rebate too. so if you buy the diapers for 30 and 2 u by kotex that are on sale you can get back 10 with the rebate! and there are coupons out there for all of those items!

  15. soni

Where do i find brookside pouches?

    • mel

at mine, its on the candy aisle with the other pouched candy bags.

  16. jen

Thanks Collin!! Happy Saturday to you ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks! You too!

  17. Carol_R

Thanks for the awesome match-ups Collin.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re most welcome, Carol!

  18. Cindy

Hello, I was wondering if someone could clarify something for me on the Buy Three get a FREE First Aid Case Deal. The Ad says buy 3 Aveeno, Benadryl anti-itch, band-aid brand bandages, red cross products or Neosporin and then you’ll get a free first aid case plus $3 ECB. The Johnson and Johnson Healthy Families Website for the $5 rebates says “Buy any Neoporin ointment or cream AND any Band-aid brand adhesive bandages WITH any combination og Neosporin lip health, Band-aid Bandages, Johnson and Johnson Red Cross Brand, Bengay, and benadryl Topical.” So my question is If I buy 1 Neosporin Ointment or Cream, 1 Band-aid Bandages, 1 Benadryl Topical , I qualify for CVS $3ECB plus the Free First Aid Kit AND the Johnson and johnson $5 check and another first aid kit?

    • Taera

      That’s right!

  19. Heather C.

I’ve got around $10 towards the $15/$50 beauty rebate, and won’t be able to get to $50 before the deadline. If anybody wants to paypal me the postage, I can mail my receipts and upc #’s to you. Email me if you’re interested at alaynasmommy25@yahoo.com ๐Ÿ™‚

  20. jee

    *non-cvs related
hello, I have a 80 KFR Point Value. if someone could kindly trade me with coke rewards points – that would be awesome. TIA

  21. nin

Anyone planning to use their $ off $20 from email last week? I haven’t used it yet, but am not seeing anything good. I do have the $2 off Kotex, but already used the MQ last week and I have already used the CVS Brookside coupons. No need for makeup or diapers, juts wondering other things folks are getting this week?

    • mel

      I got a $4/$20… this is what I think I’m going to buy –

      $18.99 Schick Hydro Silk Refills
      $8.99 Hawaiian Tropic
      $3.99 Kotex Pads
      = $31.97
Use $4/$20 + $8 off Hydro Silk Refills (printed from the MCM last wk) + $4 off Silk Refills insert qpn + $2 off Hawaiian Tropic (this was a hangtag I found last summer) + $2 off any Suncare purchase (printed from the coupon center this wk) + $2 off Kotex CVS IP = $9.97
Use $10 ECB (I’ll loose a few cents b/c they’ll adjust down to $9.97) and just pay tax of about $3ish.

      • nin

Thanks Mel-didn’t think about razors. I didn’t get that Silk refill mcm q last week, but maybe I’ll see what other q’s I can come up with.

Wish we could pass on our q’s if we weren’t to use them.

        • Shayla

have you checked with your local CVS? Mine allows me to use the email coupons passed expiration (if you print them vs send to card). Guess that’s a perk of living in a small town within a big city.

      • Paris013

Did everyone get the $8 off silk mcm q? I scanned my card 5 times this week and didn’t get it once. Really bummed as I was hoping for this one…

        • SJ

I did NOT get this one either. What a great Q.

  22. Craig

That bites Watched the Brookside vid, shared, waited, and still nothing!! Uugh. Wonder if its tied with last time?

    • katie

      mine didn’t reset.

  23. Maureen

Here’s my plan. Please tell me if you see any flaws with it.
    Buy 3 Huggies Lil Movers or Pull-ups 29.97 (use 3 – $2 coupons)
Buy 1 kotex u tampons $3.99 (use $2 cvs coupon and $2 kotex us printed previously)
Buy 1 kotex liners 18 ct $1.57 (use $2 cvs coupon)
    Total $35.53 – $4/20 coupon – $6 huggies coupons – $6 kotex coupons = $19.53 oop
get $10 ecb and submit for $10 rebate.
So basically it would all end up being free once I get the ecb and rebate.
Is this too good to be true? What am I missing?

    • jiya

I am not an expert but I think $2 cvs coupon on kotex can’t be combined with any other coupon. Correct me if I am wrong.

      • Cindy

I was wondering the same thing. Does anyone know?

        • Shayla

It worked tonight – one MQ and one store (no beep); however, YMMV. And as for the one per customer, that too can be a per store, as some stores may allow.

          • mel

just b/c it worked, doesn’t mean it’s right. it clearly states not to be combined with any other coupon, which means not only another store coupon, but also a manuf coupon. Go to weusecoupons, they have in their matches that the coupon rings up as CVS MANUF, so you can’t double-up with another manuf coupon. This isn’t a “true store” coupon.

          • bea

I went to cvs today and I could not stack the kotex coupons. I was almost positive that I would not be able to but wanted to try anyways. However, the coupons did work on the 18ct. panty liners which were only $1.77 in SoCal. I was able to get the overage too!

    • Sarah

The CVS coupon says one per customer ๐Ÿ™

      • Maureen

okay thank you Sarah and Jiya. At least that won’t be a surprise at the register. Still $2 for all that is awesome. Hope it works.

        • jiya

can u please tell me which rebate u are talking about?

          • Maureen

It’s the Kimberly Clark rebate. Collin has it linked up by her diaper scenario. If you spend $35 you get $10.

            • jiya

              Thanks!!

  24. edy

Also, there is a prnted cpn buy 1 shick hydro get 1 free. And look for peelies 1.50 of 1 can of schick hydro shaving cream, also, puffs kleenex have peelies 1dlr of charmin tissue,

  25. ccre_21

Im at cvs right now.. Waiting for nxt weeks sale to activate.. Its odd that its already 4:30 and it still hasnt changed.. Usually at 4pm the prices change already.. Is anyone having the same problem?

    • Carol

Mine usually changes over around 8:30 but last weekend before I ventured out at night I called and they said MIDNIGHT. I don’t know if they just told me that or if they really have started rolling it over at Midnight. Wish I knew? Clerks just say to come in and scan an item to find out. That’s not fun if I go all the way up there and it’s not working yet. ๐Ÿ™

    • Brandee

I shopped mine at about 5 and the new sale had already activated.

      • Shayla

most of mine switched over by 4 today; however, the ECB deals were not working yet =( will have to go back for the Crest ProRinse later this week…

  26. ccre_21

good thing I’m friends with the cashiers, i had them put the things i shopped for on hold. I’ll come back tonight around 7pm. hopefully the sale is already on because I want to use the 20% off coupon that came with last week’s ad. Please report in if anybody has successfully shopped next week’s sale today. ๐Ÿ™‚ TIA!

    • Jenny

I went to CVS this evening and was told they used to activate Sunday ads early but no longer do it. I live in northern CA

      • Heather v

I’m in North Cali too and just left CVS and all Sunday adds we’re on sale with the tags.

  27. Amy

Thanks so much! Lots of great deals on things we use on a regular basis here in the house ๐Ÿ™‚

  28. edy

My friend went to cvs and they activate that store sales at 4pm/ the physicians sale was this week -minus 6dlrs and tomorrows is buy 1 physicians get 7 back! So, the 7 bucks wasn’t activated because, both sales running so, the manager honor it given them the $7 bucks and – 6dlrs off ans since, it wasn’t tracking everyone wiped them off. Not at our cvs they quit activating it because, by sunday the cvs will be wiped out, so we wait until sunday

    • Shayla

I have always been told the “better” deal wins out. The only time I have been able to “double dip” as you say would be if I happen to have a raincheck for an item at sale and the week I redeem also has ECBs…one or the other is their motto. makes complete sense to me.

    • Kathy

My CVS has the Physician’s Formula concealer price at $6.49 making this deal a .51 cent money maker!! I did it… and YES the $7 xtra bucks DO print.

      • Crystal

same here. its nice to have an unexpected money maker ๐Ÿ™‚

        • DRAHZ

Certainly a pleasant surprise that the concealer sticks at CVS in IL were priced at $3.68 and with the $1 off MC plus the $7 ECBs, an awesome $4.32MM!

  29. Kara

Just an FYI I had a $5 off $25 baby care cvs coupon on my extra care card on CVS.com that I was able to print out. It’ll make the diaper deal even sweeter!

    • Shayla

thanks Kara, hoping I get it. I take advantage of the diaper deals everytime so by now you would think I would get one of these things…keeping fingers crossed!!!

  30. Shayla

I’m not familiar with the Kimberly Clark rebate…I was trying to read if the total has to be $25 or $35 pre coupon or after like P&G rebate? Anyone know?

    • Shayla

      * what I meant to say is that P&G rebate is pre coupon total…not the other way around.

    • Crystal

I would like to know this as well. i bought 3 huggies diapers and 1 bag of wipes. after my coupons, my total (with tax) came out to $29.02. will i still get the $10 rebate since my pre coupon total was above $35. does anyone know? thanks

  31. Amy K

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Almay Oil-Free Makeup Eraser Sticks did not generate the 4 ECB’s. I’ve always gotten them before and today, I did not.

    • axhilli

They generated the ECB at my local CVS.

    • Ronni

      Worked for me too.

  32. jiya

Collin there is also $0.25 coupon in today’s SS for Palmolive.
    Palmolive 10oz $0.99
Use the $0.25 coupon from 4/21SS
Use the $0.25 coupon printing from the Magic Coupon Machine
    Final cost $0.49c
    Thanks for all you do!!

    • jiya

๐Ÿ™ Sorry. I was looking at the ad. in the newspaper….but the coupon has size restriction 14oz or larger.

      • irene

That’s the second time they advertised a q that doesn’t match. The Colgate $1 wasn’t for the variety advertised/offered. Could be frustrating for a newbie.

        • Cindy G

Funny, even the CVS ad had the coupon included in this scenerio!

  33. axhilli

Glad I looked at this post and read about the CVS $4 off $20 purchase it made for a nice money maker. Bought 2 almay and 2 Kotex products paid $0.88 out of pocket after coupons and got $4 in extra bucks back yeahhh.

  34. katie

My first aid bag had$15 worth of coupons in it. $1 johnsond no more tangles, $1.50 off 2 red cross brand products, $1 off 2 band-aid bandages, $2 off neosporin, $1 off neosporin lip health product, $3 off 2 neosporin essentials products, $5 off 3 badnaid, neo,or benadryl products, $2 off bengay product, and $1 off benadryl topical product!

  35. Heather

Maybe everyone knows this, but it was a fun surprise for me…the Brookside choc trial size printed the 67 cents ECB today, and it said I hadn’t reached my limit! So, maybe it’s a monthly deal…

    • irene

Thanks for mentioning it! I didn’t get them when the ECBs were advertised.

  36. Megan

I have a question about the kimberly clark rebate. Can you submit the rebate more than once if you shop at different times and spend 25 or 35 multiple times?

    • mel.

No, its 1 rebate per household.

  37. Melissa

I cannot get the Kimberly Clark rebate form to open. Is anyone else having this issue?

    • C

i cant get it to print.

      • todogoodthings

I saved it to my computer and THEN it printed – it wasn’t printing before that.

        • Crystal

thats what i ended up doing too and was able to print it.

  38. Sue

Does anyone know if the Venus Simply 4 ct disposable razor works in the Gillette Disposable Razor 2-12 ct =$3 ecb?

  39. Jennifer

My CVS had a special end cap display of Schick Hydro 5 men’s razors with a freebie of Banana Boat spray included AND there happened to be a peelie for $3 off any Banana Boat except lip products. It was an awesome pairing with the spend $25 get back $10 deal!! Look for them in your stores!! Have a great week!

  40. Caitlin

I have 2 coupons for B1G1 Sally Hansen insta-dry nail polish (up to $4), and it’s also on sale this week for B1G50% off, would this make them free?

    • mel

no. the store offer is B1G150% off, so if the polish is $3.99, the 2nd one will ring up $1.99 = $5.98. Now, the BOGO coupon *might* autodeduct $4 and you’ll pay $1.98.
The only way you’ll get 2 free is if the store promo is BOGO Free with the BOGO Free coupon.

      • rundio87

        Thank you

  41. Kris

I have a question. Can you use the Schick coupon (buy a razor get a shaving cream free) with the $2.00 off schick coupon that was in the SS insert from Sunday?

  42. Kate

I also received a $.25/1 palmolive coupon in the paper this week!!!

  43. edy

There is also peelies on the angel tissue paper at cvs for .75 off a 12pck!

  44. Kaylee

Just a heads up I have a $1 off 4 VO5 shampoo or conditioner 15 oz or more in my 4/14 SS (I am in the Cincinnati area) I will be using that today to stock up! ๐Ÿ™‚

  45. Mandi

If I have a 25% off coupon and I buy the Skintimate shaving cream, will the full price count count towards the $25 needed for the $10 ECB or will they take the 25% first? I can’t remember…

    • Sue

Since it’s not on “sale” the full price counts towards the $25, I received the same coupon and plan to use it on this also.
