Just as a point here — the classic dutch over actually designed for use in a campfire would have an inverted lid, with a lip around the edge, so that you can heap hot coals on the top for cooking, but when you open the lid the ash will not fall into the food. The lid on this one would not keep ash out of the food. I’m just sayin’
