How is this laundry soap? Is it comparable to xtra or any other of the cheaper brands of laundry soap? Or is this higher quality… like Era, Tide, or All? (Era is MY favorite for the price!) TIA for any input! 🙂
This stuff is horrible
this detergent is very rough and gritty…make sure it is all dissolved before adding clothes….but it does clean well and leaves clothes with a nice fresh/clean scent
I been use this for 40 yr. it get your clothes clean and fresh
I use it for “warm” loads only. The granules clump together into big chunks in “cold” water.
I disagree with most of the comments above..ok I have been on the search for a good cheap laundry detergent for my pet boarding business for over a year now, none of the cheap laundry detergents work like Extra (this stuff is horrible like washing with water) store brands (awful) arm and hammer (not good) Tide is great but because I wash at least 7 loads a day and it was way to expensive so the closest to Tide is Gain powder but still to high for all the loads im doing so I ran into this at Kmart for $9.99 for 180 loads and said I have to try it and WOW I am amazed at how good this detergent is I only use one scoop in my front load washer and I swear I thought I was using tide and hey it might even work better or at least just as good and how tiny of an amount you use its crazy I wasn’t expecting it to work really but wow it did…SERIOUSLY I wash nasty poop & pee pads and everything covered in pet hair and this stuff is so good everything is clean stain free and smells clean not perfume clean just clean no bad odors..im going right now why Kmart has it for $9.99 and getting about 10 more boxes..LOVE it ..now I want to try the ultra plus with added fabric softener that would really be awesome if that will save me on fabric softener I’ve not found a good cheap fabric softener yet still on the search I only use Downey or snuggle (ultra )..hey if anyone knows of one right it down here please!!!
