Never get your tires done at Sears! I have learned the hard way.

Why? I always go there because they send me coupons like crazy. I have never had any issues and they are not pushy like my mechanic.

Almost 36 yrs ago I had my tires rotated and paid for it. They did not have the lug nuts back on and some were on but not tightened. As I drove away my car came down on the axle. I will never go back to SEARs….keep this in mind when you go there and check all the lug nuts. Most serious when I mention this. They did not want to refund me or anything for their mistake.

I plan to buy my new tires at Sears or Sams but I once had Sears do an inspection on my car. They couldn’t get the lug nut off and they broke a tie rod. They made me pay to replace it!!! And it wasn’t like I could go anywhere else, my car couldn’t be driven away. I think their garages are like any other chain. Hit or miss. Choose carefully!

NEVER trust sears auto. I had a radiator flush and they left my radiator cap off, causing my radiator to crack and it would have needed to be replaced, had I not been driving a long stretch of road and over heating which melted my whole front end, totalling my car. When I called them they asked me if I was sure I didn’t take the cap off? Why on earth would I open the hood and just take that cap off????

Never heard any good stories about sears auto.

I once had a fan belt changed there. They left the old one laying on top of my engine. When I saw that I thought the new one had come off. I had it towed back to Sears only to be told it was the old one.

I have never had a problem with Sears. I have had all of my tire work done there. I have purchased all of my new tires there. Do your research on your local ones.
