Thomas and Friends Thomas the Tank The Great Quarry Climb is all about working hard to get the job done and getting help from friends. In this play set, Owen the Traction Engine helps Thomas climb to the top of the quarry, where a spinning saw blade is about to cut a load of bluestone down to size. The stone is loaded into Thomas’ cargo car, and off the Really Useful Engine goes. The scene is based on the 2012 movie ‘Blue Mountain Mystery,’ but kids can come up with their own scenes as well.

FYI for anyone planning to make a bigger purchase at Kmart and takes rx medications: in their flyer this past Sunday they had coupons for a $25 gift certificate for each prescription you transfer to their pharmacy (up to $100 worth of gift cards if you have 4 prescriptions to transfer!) If you have rx insurance, your copay would be the same as what you pay anywhere else. I intend to transfer my 2 monthly prescriptions there just for this month to get $50 worth of gc, then transfer back to my regular pharmacy again next month. I’ve done this with Rite Aid in the past and got a pricey blood pressure cuff for cheap! We were wanting to get our boys a play structure for the yard, and $50 off will really help!

Great deal I got the quarry climb one around January with the 15 off coupon but I might get the other set they just take up a lot of room my son also has a wooden train set too. I got a crane that is 4 feet tall a few months ago there got 10 to the cranky crane or something part if Thomas the train . These would be awesome bday gifts to for ten bucks!!
Can the sets connect to make one really big one like the wooden ones?
@2nd Rachel – The tracks are for two different lines, the trackmaster and the take and play. Unfortunately, they do not work together. As someone with a son that has Chuggington diecast, Chugginton interactive, Thomas Take-N-Play and Thomas Trackmaster track sets, I really wish they did. 🙂
The first set mentioned is great and stays together well. The second set is evil and never stays together (I have a 20 month old and 3 year old that plays with them). I bought these when the coupons came out before Christmas making them super cheap at Walmart and Toys R Us.

I got the 2nd one at toys r us around christmas time for super cheap, and have been looking for the quarry climb ever since tried after Christmas when they were all on clearance but just couldn’t pay for it… super excited this… just bought it … it will be a great bday or christmas present this year!! I got both those sets for Christmas for my boys the first take along is great and easy to use, the second is junk and the drop wouldn’t work and I took it back, waste of time and money in my opinion

Online it says my store has none, went to my store, they have 6. They will not price match and said it must be a different UPC…. And stared at me. Ummm…..OK!
I called my store and the guy said I don’t have any in stock so I had to go check it myself and they had tons of the $10.00 marked down to $17.49 from $34.99 I think and the $15.00 one was $22 change marked down from $44 change. I did the Kmart Cottonelle deal few days ago and had the $10.00 off $10.00 CRT so I got the $10.00 one for $7.49. It’s my sons birthday tomorrow and he loves Thomas. This will definitely make his day. Thanks a lot Collin for letting us know abt. this deal 🙂
