This is perfect for our 5 hour trip this weekend! I ordered the magnets but we have extras laying around we can use for the trip! 🙂

    These are $2.65 now

      Nevermind 🙂 haha

I have both of these sets and I love them! They’re so cute. My son plays with the letters on a daily basis and has for over a year now. So cute and worth a few bucks!

I have these, and they aren’t safe for young kids who still put things in their mouths… the paint chips easily and the magnets aren’t attached very well. Somewhat cheaply made, but fine for older kids, I’m sure.

Yeah these are junk – threw them in the trash after one day. Not safe at all for little ones…….save your money and put it towards a leapfrog fridge toy.

Thank you!! I was looking for these today at the dollar store and they were out. These are so cute, gonna buy a few sets b/c they always get lost 🙂

when it says ships from Hong Kong-do you trust it? KInda scares me to buy something over seas expecting that it will actually come.

Last time I ordered these, they arrived…and much sooner than the expected delivery date.

I ordered some iphone chargers, they took about 4-5 weeks to ship

I ordered the Mickey cookie cutter and it came earlier tan expected as well… I took the chance on these and ordered them.

Ordered some a while back, along with a dollar store cookie sheet, for a car trip. A few arrived broken, which was ok, but my youngest was playing with them when the extremely tiny magnet on the back of one slipped out of the hole it was in, and at that point I took them all away from my kids. Not worth the danger. Plus, even on the cookie sheet, they slide down; like I mentioned, the magnets are in cutout holes in the back of the letters, which might be why they don’t stay up very well, and can’t be used to hold papers or pictures. Cute, but once that magnet slipped off with very slight use, I couldn’t keep them in the house.

i ordered these ‘numbers’ last time they were on sale and they are definitely not as good of quality as the melissa and doug magnetic letters we have, but they do what they need to 🙂 this is what i use them for…. https://pinterest.com/pin/318559373612490383/

Because these come from china beware that painted wood will likely contain lead.

    • Jo

That’ exactly what I was thinking! They do have lead in their paint in China. I would not buy these for that reason alone.

These are a great deal. I plan on using them with my 3 year old (4 in June) as we practice sounding out words from the BOB books. Learning is ALWAYS fun when the letters are crazy and colorful. Also, while I was ordering a couple of sets, I saw this in the “people who order this, also order this” place – ADORABLE finger puppets for $2.78.
