As most of you know, 9/16/12, was the start of the new Walgreens Balance Rewards Program! Even sweeter, on 5/5/13, they started a new point system in which you can redeem your points once you reach just 1,000 points. Please head here to read all about it.
And, as of 3/28/13, you can earn 20 points for every mile you walk. Earn up to 1,000 Balance Rewards Points per month. Simply keep track of your steps here and link your Balance Rewards number to your account. Even sweeter, you may be able to snag some additional exclusive coupons! (Thanks, Emily!)

The Alaway coupon from 4/7/13 has a week expiration date.. the other is still good though…

I tried stocking up on Bob lotion to send in a care package overseas but they wouldn’t let me have it for B1G1. They told me it was only the sprays that were pictured even though it doesn’t say that. My sweet little cashier told me to come back on Tuesday when the good manager was there. She would override it for me. Just frustrating though.

Just FYI—my Walgreens in MS had Aquaphor baby wash/shampoo on clearance for $3.49 each. So I bought 5 and used 5 $1 off coupons and still got the $8 register reward! Awesome!

i got the 2 sauve body wash and 1 lotion and use the coupon buy 2 body wash and get lotion free you know my walgreen did not want to give me my 2000 balance reward because i did not spend 6.00 after the coupon, but he was nice enough to give me my points
i didn’t get points for buying 2 suave body washes and 1 suave lotion. The body wash wasn’t tagged at my store as part of the promotion. How did you get the store to give you the points? I thought only if you called the 800 number you could get points that were owed to you.

I didn’t check the receipt before I left the store (I’m terrible at doing that), but I called the 800# as soon as I got home and noticed and they were nice enough to add the points for me. It seems that every time I go to Walgreens nothing is labeled, so I didn’t think anything of it that it wasn’t labeled cause the lotion wasn’t either..
The Suave lotions are pictured but not showing up as included for the Balance Rewards.
Actually, I take that back. The lotions ARE included but the body washes ARE NOT, at least according to the online information.
Apparently it only includes that specific lotion that is pictured in the ad. So crazy that they didn’t make the ad more clear.
I did not get my points when I made my purchase on Monday. I should know by now to ck my receipt, but I did nit and when i was posting my weekly purchases in excel, I noticed I did nit get the BR for the suave. I called cs and she said the 18 oz lotion wasn’t included it was only the 12 oz lotion. I said that was really odd bc I bought the same exact lotion pictured (18 oz Lavender Vanilla). She added the 2000 pts as a courtesy.
I dont think the lotions ever came 18 oz, just the body wash?? My guess is the items were not entered into the system correctly.

I wanted to warn people. I went in to take advantage of the BOGO Banana Boat/Hawaiian Tropics sunscreen and my local Walgreens had raised the prices to $11.99/bottle so didn’t really save anything.

I never find same prices in the store. I only get one insert, so I just need few items. After making a list when u don’t even find the stuff & same deals,I get confused all the times 🙁
I did the Suave deal and didn’t get the points either. I called the 800 # and she loaded them for me. I found BB for 9.99 used the 3.25/2 and found the Beauty book (on the beauty counter) used 2/2 got them for 2.37 each..not bad.
I also did the Suave deal and noticed it did not produce the 2,000 pts. The manager manually gave me the points for each of the 2 transactions. It wasn’t until after, a cashier nearby said it wasn’t part of the deal and the body wash was not tagged. It makes no sense because the ad states “hair and body care item” (not verbatim). My wags had the Viva paper towels for $7.29 per 6 pk. Where did the $5.99 price come from? Maybe regional or online? The register reward is working when u buy 2.
My wags had bottles of banana boat for $9.49 but they didn’t have the bogo sign in front so I politely showed them in the ad that there were no exceptions except lip and sticks so they should honor that deal for all reg. sz. bottles & they did. Also I found 2 bottles of Hawaiian Tropics spf12 (w/ travel sz. included) clearanced for 5.49! they honored the bogo deal since it doesn’t excluded clearance. I used the $3/2 + the $2/2 from wags beauty book & got both for .49 + tax! Also clearanced were rimmel 2 pks of top coat + nail color for $1.12 so .12 after $1 qpon! Good luck finding these deals! I’ve been to 3 stores and only 1 has had them.
