I love my citrus lane box!!! This month my 6 month old (they send a month in advance) got rice cakes, a moisture stick for me, a green (Eco) stacking toy, and a barefoot book. And I think something else.
I really like it. Plus if you refer people you can get money off your monthly boxes.

I believe you have to subscribe in order to get this deal. This is not just a one time thing unless you call and canel right away. I assume?

        Thanks for re-clarifying Marie 🙂

I did this last month, it was well worth the $12.50 and maybe even the $25 🙂 I cancelled it right away and had no problem!

It doesn’t state that its for new customers only so I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to, you might have to order separately though.

just checked and it said the offer had expired and I also couldn’t get to the website…:(

  7. Rain

Will the price still be $12.50 per month if you allow it to renew?

  8. Brooke

I get this for my 4 year old daughter and I love it!!

    • MommySpendsLess

What kinds of things have you gotten for your 4yo? The Skip Hop bag caught my eye but then it said “baby” stuff….now I’m debating signing up for my daughter, who will be turning 4 in July.

      • Ashley

I’m curious, too. A lot of the examples on the site are for babies and younger kids, but it looks like nice stuff so I’d love to know what they put in the boxes for preschool aged kids.

I had my 3 year old son enrolled, and some things were too babyish. They use alot of the same brands in each box. I’ve gotten some skip hop, habba, green toys, plumtots. babyganics, barefoot books, etc. I have a younger child at home so it wasn’t a huge deal if it wasn’t age appropriate. We did receive a skip hop lunch box, a wooden puzzle (that said 18 months and up but was way hard for even me to do), and some reusable meal time options like cups and plates. You’re also going to receive something for you like sunscreen, organic cleaners, make-up remover etc. I don’t think I would get it for a 4 or 5 year old unless you know someone you could gift anything you wouldn’t use in the box. have you heard of KIWICRATE? We switched to that when our citrus lane suscription cancelled.

        • cindi

oh and if you see that first picured up in the post – that is an exact example of a preschool box. I received everything pictured myself.

          • MommySpendsLess

Thanks Cindi! You seem to be right based on the picture – my daughter reads paper books now and we just lift the ‘wings’ on her juiceboxes – but I think I may give it a try anyway since $12.50 isn’t a huge sum of money.

As a note to everyone else, I found a few other blogs (I just typed “citrus lane reviews” into Google) provide a variety of reviews. The best one went over every box in a 6 month subscription (for an infant), another showed items received for a 2 year old. On the whole they seem like a nice variety of full sized items.

Oh, and here is my link for kiwicrate if you want to sign up that will take $10 off your first box. My son loved getting it in the mail and it was nice to receive projects instead of stuff! It was also nice becuase while I am a a semi-crafty person I rarely have everything on hand to make unique crafts. My first box came with these robots you built that could actually race around the floor – and then also a maze you built out of magnets. Very cool stuff!

Citrus Lane is the best! I’ve been receiving this for over a year now and we absolutely love it. Great customer service too. Many of the items we use on a daily basis came from a Citrus Lane box.

  10. Patty

Thanks for all the comments! I decided to go ahead and give it a try!

    • RT

      I used your link 🙂

    • RT

Did you get the code to wok for you?

      • Krista

Yes the code worked for me this morning! Said it was sold out of the June boxes and I’ll get the July box.

  11. RT

Hi everyone! The code did not work for me, but I used Karen’s link above and I got $10 off, so the first box was for $15. Not as good as $12.50, but still pretty good.

I followed her link and then I clicked “monthly subscription”. I clicked “use promo code instead” to change the referral credit to the promo code, but the code never worked. So I clicked “use referral code instead” but now that did not want to show up either. So I clicked on her link again, I signed up with the credentials I had just created and I got the box with the referral credit. Here is my link if anyone would like to pay it forward.

I just signed up for a box (2:00pm EST) and the TAKEHALF code worked fine. However, a message said that they are sold out of the June boxes so my subscription will start in July and I should get my first box between the 17th-22nd. That’s actually perfect for me as it should line up nicely with my daughter’s birthday! 🙂 It’d be nice if they went ahead and charged me now though, so I don’t forget about it.

  13. tigerjen77

Went ahead and signed up for a box. A little confused though as it says we will get a July box. If I only have 30 das to cancel before being charged again do I do it before I even get the box or will they wait and start the subscription when they send the box in July?
Thanks in advance for any input!
