Happy Friday: Summer To Do List
Sent from reader, Erin:
This is the 2nd year my girls and I have made a summer to do list. It’s a great way to think of things to do to keep us from getting bored. Many of the things are cheap/free…Kidsbowlfree.com, $2 movies at our local movie theater, free splash parks and library programs in our town. We hang the list in our living room and my girls cross things off as we do them. I keep the list at the end of summer and put it with our photo albums…such fun memories!
HAPPY FRIDAY! 😀

Those girls are soooo cute!
They are adorable and I love their ideas.
Beautiful girls, and I love your list – fun things to look forward to!!
Cute…
Cute girls 🙂 Great Idea!
Such a great idea I think I’m going to make a list with my girls tomorrow!
that’s cute. your girls are adorable.
Love this idea! Will be doing it this summer since I always forget to write things down when I first think of them & this will ensure we’re never bored!
We did this also. We made a list of summer to-do’s and also a list of random acts of kindness the kids want to do before summer is over.
Beautiful girls! Great, creative mama!
what cuties!!! i hope you all have a great summer!
What are “spoon mirrors”?

I love this post. Your girls are the cutest and I am “stealing” the idea for my two kids. Thank you for sharing, have a great summer! 🙂
I would love to receive a hug in the mail. It would mean someone cares about me and took the time to put it together and send it:) Great idea.
I agree with you Susan. Such a thoughtful “thing to do”!
Such cuties. What a great idea. I think we’ll have try this one out this summer so we don’t constantly have to think of things to do. Have a great summer!
We did something similar but I printed our ideas out on the computer, cut each idea into a strip and then folded it in half- they all went into a jar (we had about 25 free or cheap things to do). Now the kids have a chore jar that they each pick from and after their chores are completed, then 1 child gets to pick what activity we are doing from the fun jar. I have 4 kids so we started with the youngest but we rotate so everyone will get a turn throughout the week. The chore jar is working so well!! They are excited each day to pick their chore and I am talking about 3 boys from 8-16 that are VERY spoiled and have not had to do anything around the house most of their life- I got fed up this year and implemented my plan. My 4 year old daughter loves it too and her chores are done in pictures so she can “read” it too. It’s a win win for all. It helps me so that I don’t have to think up what we should do and it gets us out and about every day, and not wasting the summer away.
