   I love the idea of these and that they are safe around kids and pets but they smell awful.

  I agree – they smell disgusting. I wore rubber gloves to use them for awhile then ended up tossing them because I couldn’t stand the smell.

    Just beware these things STINK bad!!! I have 2 tubs & don’t know what to do w/them, I’ll pass until I hear that they have changed the smell.
