I do not see a limit listed on the coupon. Can we use this 4 times in the same transaction to meet the rebate limit?

    • Marissa

how did you find out rebate limits B?
And in the past they just scan the same coupon 2 or 3 times at my staples store.

    • Marissa

I just read it again and it says limit one per customer. 🙁

    • Jay

Limit’s 1, it’s in the fine print of all the coupons. The old coupons used to have bar codes, but these are code entries now so it’s probably just 1 per transaction. If the items are the same as those in the ad that would b sweet since the limit is more than 1 per item.

      • Marissa

I called my staples because i was confused on if i would need to print out multiple coupons since the rebate limit was 4 he said no that they do it all at one time in the store. Ive never seen the limit of 1 before? Maybe it a new thing? Any input or ideas about this Collin? If its a new thing i don’t want to get the manager at my staples in trouble?!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Each coupon is limited to one per customer. Here’s what the fine print states:

Limit one per customer, nontransferable. Minimum purchase requirement must be met with purchases to which no other coupon or instant savings offer applies. May not be combined with any other coupon. Coupon must be surrendered. No copies/facsimiles. No cash/credit back. Not valid on services, gift cards, postage stamps, prior purchases, or any purchases from Awards.com™ or on other provider Web sites. Tax and shipping not included in calculating minimum purchase.

          I hope this helps!

    • Wren

Apparently these coupons are “Limit 1 per customer.” There’s a tiny blue number after the description on each coupon, and if you click that, it takes you to the fine print for each coupon.

  2. Gayno

There is (or was) abic coupon on their facebook page
    ($1.50 off 2)
I’m too lazy to read the fine print….
Can you combine the 50% off Bic (Staples) coupon with a manufacturer coupon?
    Combined with the Staples Groupon…
    Too awesome!

  3. Jordan

Where do you get the $3 coupon for the pastel paper? It’s not in the link listed.

  4. Cherry

Can i use my rewards to buy these stuff and get the rebates? Thanks….

    • Chloe

Yes, you can use rewards to purchase rebate items. That makes for an even better deal, as you don’t pay sales tax on items purchased with rewards! (You also don’t get Rewards back on items purchased with Rewards. But rebates are fair game!)

      • Cherry

        Woohoo! Thanks so much!

  5. Christa

Does anyone know about Back to School Savings Pass and free after rebates?
Does this make fars money makers or just still free after rebate?

  6. cpinaz

Where do you get the Bic coupon? It isn’t showing up for me on the Facebook page.

  7. Sally

I’ve never coupon shopped at Staples – so I need a little help figuring this out.

With these three reams, can I buy one of each, submit online and get paypal as my reward? Or is paypal only for select items?

  8. Mary

Is an easy rebate a check they send you (or paypal… anything that is real money) or is it a store credit/reward/coupon kind of thing?

    • Marissa

It’s real money! A check made out to you.

  9. lacie

last year they had some huge savings and sales before school.. like I got my sons supplies nearly free. anyone remember when they did this and if theres a head of if they are doing it again?

    • Nancy

If I remember correctly, the back to school sales started the second week of July.

  10. Lee

Did anyone try using the Hammermill coupon that is free after rebate? I went to Staples and the rebate didn’t print out so I wasn’t sure if it was cashier error or what so I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with their rebate.

  11. Felton

We had the same problem with the Hammermill paper coupon. I checked the easyrebate site and there is no valid Hammermill easyrebate going on right now.

  12. Melissa

Our Hammermill rebate didn’t print out either and I questioned it. The cashier was in training and tried to enter it as a coupon and it didn’t work so she apparently just thought, oh well, I’ll just ignore it.

Anyway a manager came up and said the code had to be entered as an item while ringing it up, not as a coupon. They refunded my money and re-rang it and entered the coupon as an item and then I paid and the rebate printed.

So if you didn’t get the rebate printed, go back and tell them they need to refund and re-ring and add the coupon as an item. They should know what you’re talking about, or get a manager.

    • jennifer

I had this issue, too…er, my husband did, since I sent him. I just sat down today to submit the rebates I had assumed he got, and he said they couldn’t get the coupon to work. He had a manager come over, and apparently, the manager didn’t know how to make it work, either. Since the coupon code has now expired, if I go back to the store and explain what happened, is there even anything anyone can do for me? All I want is the dang rebate offer number so I can get my check. If that is not possible, Staples can have their paper back.

      • Pete K

Hi Jennifer, It’s worth talking to the manager. However, if the coupon didn’t scan correctly, you can’t apply for the rebate: the coupon must show on the receipt for the rebate to pass validation.

  13. vicki

Sorry I’m still confused about the coupon limit. Say, if I wanted to get 50% off on the BIC pens as well as the hammer mill paper rebate, can I use both in a transaction that day? As for the rebate limit of 4, if I want to get 4 then I will have to print out the coupon again and revisit the store another day for that rebate item? tia

  14. Pete K

Also having trouble with the rebate not printing for Hammermill paper. Their online chat was useless, they kept telling me the rebate had expired… despite telling them I just printed it off their website today, and it’s valid until 6/29! I guess it’s back to the store tomorrow, as their “easy rebate” is not so easy after all….

  15. sandy

has anyone tried getting 4 in one transaction? do they really limit one per coupon? or do you have to do 4 separate transactions to get 4?

    • Kerri

I purchased two in the same transaction. I didn’t ask the cashier to scan the coupon twice for both reams, but he did anyway (I only had one coupon with me).

  16. Olivia

Has anyone downloaded the coupons.com app? I downloaded it to my iPhone the other day. There are mobile qs on there and there is a q for free hammermill copy paper. It expires today. Didn’t know if anyone had tried it yet. Doesn’t say that any certain purchase is necessary. It’s a pretty cool app. You can print coupons from your phone if you have a wireless printer!

    • Christa

I have tried. Last time checking in gave me a $5/$25 coupon. I like that it can save my savings pass for 15% off back to school stuff too.

  17. jamie

Has anyone else received a postcard in the mail saying that “we could not honor your request due to the following reason(s): HammerMill Copy Plus Paper ~ There are either no valid rewards or there is a $0 check reward” I was clearly charged for this paper on my receipt. Anyone else??
