* If you’re not familiar with the ERGObaby brand, take some time to read through all the awesome reviews over on Amazon.com!
Dang, wish i had money, I’ve never seen them that low! They’re very popular with people who cloth diaper so I’ve seen them a lot and this is the most popular brand!
WOW! This is an AMAZING deal. Ergo makes a great carrier and in the babywearing world they are highly recommended. I may just have to snatch one of these up
I’ve been eyeing these for months as I prepare for my first child! Thank you for sharing this, Collin!
They are also on sale right now on zulily.com and some of the colors are even cheaper ($54.99-$77.99 depending on color) but you would need to pay shipping. If you are not a member of zulily, here is an invitation link: https://www.zulily.com/invite/hschaefer214
Thanks I just used your link to save $5 off one!! Hope you get the $15 🙂
You gotta take advantage of this great price! I got mine for $80 and thought that was a steal! Ergo is such a great carrier doesn’t hurt my back, my son’s crotch is not pinched and his feet dangling because it holds his hips. A must buy!
We still use ours and my son is 2.5. I’d say it’s worth the normal price, and most definitely worth these sale prices!
I completely agree! Worth every single penny. My Ergo has been used so often! I regret not splurging as soon as my son was born instead of debating it for so long. These prices are unreal too!
I LOVE my Ergo! This is such a great price for a great carrier. I breastfeeding my son while walking down the street, did house work, shampooed the carpet while my son slept in the carrier. It’s the one baby thing that I’ve used consistently since my son was born and he just turned 3.
That should say “I breastfed” 🙂
after trying a seven sling, moby and bjorn I am giving in and getting an Ergo. I got a super cute pattern and I am stoked for it. I just hope its as good as everyone keeps telling me it is.
It is! The Baby Bjorn hurt my back and my kids weren’t nearly as comfortable in it as in an Ergo. The only down side is it takes two people (at first) to put it on as it’s very hard to reach behind you to buckle it on while you are holding the baby. Then again, it could have just been me not being very flexible 🙂 All that to say…it is very nice and I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t love theirs.
This is a great deal!!! I just sold mine used for $80, now I feel bad haha.
Thank you!! You can also go through ebates for 2.5% back.
When I sign into ebates it says 1%? Wish it was 2.5%!
I absolutely love my Ergo! It is the best carrier I have found and so much easier to put on yourself too! With two kids it allows me to have my hands free and not have to use a double stroller all the time.
In for one! Always wanted to get one, but couldn’t pay over 100, at this price I couldn’t resist.
I totally regretted not springing for one for my first after watching my friends literally use it for years. Got one before my now 5 month old was born and use it every single day. Yesterday, he and I walked around for 2.5 hours while his big sister was at science camp — he nursed in it, napped in it, and my back never got sore. It took me a few times but I can easily put it on myself now. And my husband loves using it too — when we go out as a family the question is “Are you Ergo-ing it or am I?”:)
Oh and they totally hold their value! They regularly sell used for $60-$80 where I live. I got mine new at Costco for $80 and was thrilled.
I just ordered 3 to see which color I like best (from REI) since I can return them in the store. I’m excited to try out the Ergo because I’ve heard so many good things about it but didn’t want to pay the high cost.
I ordered one online, but then they emailed me saying they cancelled my order because they sold too many on REI.com If you did order 3, I would love to buy one from you. I could pay by paypal….I’m just so bummed I couldn’t get one, I’m pregnant and have a 1 1/2 year old, which could really use one.
How do these fit size wise I’m a little bigger but have a three week old baby that never wants to put down and I want one but not sure of they will fit me. I’m a size xl/ 16-18
You’ll have more than enough room with the Ergo.
Thank you!
Just seconding what Ana said — I am a size 14 and it fits great. The straps are easily adjustable and based on where they are for me, I would guess someone many sizes bigger than a 14 could also use it.
My sil and bil have one of these for their girls and after 3 years, they still carry their oldest in it! Their newest is now using it and it seems like a good pair of jeans, the more you use it, the more comfortable and broken it it feels – it doesn’t wear out.
Amazing carrier! Regret not having gotten it sooner for my second child. He is now 2.5 and still gets carried on my back in the Ergo. Use it mostly for hiking now. We have a bulky hiking carrier we used for our first child but the Ergo is so much more convenient. My son falls asleep in it each time he get in it. Highly recommend!!! Well worth the money!
This is a GREAT deal! I don’t need one because I already have one, but if you’re considering a baby carrier, this is the one! I’ve had mine for 4 years & my third baby is now four months old and I do not know how I would function without this! I’ve used it nearly every day with all three of my kids! GREAT INVESTMENT!
LOVE THESE. Not perfect for infants… DD lived in her ERGO until she was 4!
Thanks so much! It was on my registry and now I can get it for alot cheaper and with Ebates!
To Janel — these will fit Mommas with curves! They have straps that adjust. Everyone in my family — including big guys down to petite teenagers was able to use my Ergo.
What age do you use yours? Does out work for infants?
I think you can use it starting at 7lbs with the infant insert (an additional purchase), but I have also seen youtube videos on how to use rolled up receiving blankets instead. You can reasonably use the Ergo without the insert once baby is approx 12+lbs/3-4 months (has better head control). It can be used well into toddlerhood as well.
My husband used ours from day 4 with the infant insert — friends have used theirs from early on without the insert and just with blankets to support them like others have said. I preferred the Moby until my son was about 2.5 months old, and now I use the Ergo every single day (he’s 5 months old now).
I am trying to purchase one but it won’t show up in my cart. It says “We’re unable to display this view of your cart right now. Don’t worry. This temporary issue doesn’t affect your cart contents.”
For the questions about infants, you need the infant carrier add on…it’s about $20 I think, works from about 8lbs to 12 or so. Snuggles them in nice and close until they have better head control. I LOVE my Ergo.
Does that depend on size? My granddaughter was 22 inches at birth and already weighs 9 1/2 pounds. I’ve heard the insert doesn’t work great for longer infants.
I have seen YouTube videos on how to use rolled up receiving blankets I stead of the insert.
Wow, great deals over on Zulily! I have the organic black carrier (think it was $80 or $90 at the time). We just replaced our Baby Bjorn with the Ergo and are loving it. Hubby wears it too. I don’t think the Bjorn would have even been necessary had we had the Ergo (she wasn’t a fan of being “worn” for the first few weeks anyway so the infant insert wouldn’t have even been necessary).
Great deal thanks! I’m returning the BabyBjorn I just got from our baby shower. Was disappointed with the Amazon reviews on the Bjorn that it kills your back and is really only good for up to 15 lbs. REI is also 3% back on Shopathome.
You won’t regret it! I had a BabyBjorn when my daughter was born and we really could only use it for about a month until she and I were both uncomfortable. We got the Ergo when she was 2 and wish that I would have gotten it sooner. We started using it with our son when he was born starting at about 2 weeks old and he is now 2 and 1/2 and we are still using it. You will get so much more use with the Ergo!
Is there a coupon code to enter? The price doesn’t go down for me after I added it to the cart.
I also do not see it discounted in my cart. Was the sale yesterday only?
Yes, the sale was only yesterday. However, even though I ordered one yesterday and got a confirmation email, this morning I received another email saying my order was cancelled 🙁 Looks like they are out anyway. I was all excited!
I called and they gave me yesterdays price on the organic one. Try calling them.
Same thing as Shani, I called and got the $80 price they were having yesterday on the organic one. They still have a few hundred of the organic ones in stock according to the call rep I spoke with. I asked if I could stack the extra 20% off coupon they emailed for the order cancellation though, but they said they couldn’t do it. Still a decent price. Thanks Shani for the tip!!! I wouldn’t have called without seeing your post.
I’m glad you got the price! I’m so excited. I can’t wait to use it!
When I place the highland blue/plaid ergo carrier in my cart the price does not drop from $114. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks 🙁
I really enjoyed my off brand Bjorne until about 15lbs- then the Ergo until about 3 (we have a boat load of kids, once they are 3 it’s time for them to walk/ride in stroller and next kid in the carrier. I even will have one kid on my back and one kid on the front…
I really don’t like the Ergo until 15lbs- they just don’t feel as secure even with inserts/rolled up blankets/etc.
My tip- put on the carrier before you go wherever- that way you can pull your kid from the car seat and plop them in the carrier quickly before they wake up/get cranky. 🙂
