  3. edy

Yes! Thank you for the early postings! I have my ad a week prior but, love to match my items to ur post too! Haven’t shop in 2 weeks! Verly went today to do this weeks shopping! And because, of my stockpile been able to give to 3 familys this week and 17 special kids @ a center! Thanks, so much!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Edy! Happy shopping!

    • jackie

edy I do the same thing. I filled my trunk and backseat with stuff for the men at Loving Hands Ministries since the facility is not funded by the governtment or courts. donations only. instead of them going to jail they go in the program for 18 months. you shoud have seen there eyes when I pulled up with everything I had. Thanks for everything Hip to save. I swear by it.I look forward to all the deals every day.

    • Sandra Townsend Kennedy

That’s awesome what you do with your stockpile! I too, donate items. It is very rewarding to see folks reactions, they’re so appreciative. Another good place to donate items is a senior citizens center, I volunteered there calling bingo, and to my surprise, all of their prizes were either dish soap, tissue, toilet paper, lotion etc. The Director of the center told me that they preferred those type of prizes because they could use them, and the majority were on a fixed income!

  4. juliesvoyage

    Another great job! Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the kind words. I sure appreciate it!

  5. picchu

We can still use the $2/2 Lysol products Walgreens Cold and Flu book coupon too on the Lysol deal!!

    • tat

You’re lucky that your CVS accepts coupons with other stores logo. Mine won’t because of the coupon policy does not allow them.

      • Sue

        Its actually against their policy.

        • Jeff Walker

Why is it when the word ONLY isn’t thier and its a MF???

          • Mel

Jeff, Per their online coupon policy —
CVS/pharmacy will not accept third party manufacturers’ coupons with another retailer’s logo.

Now, some stores may be a bit more lenient but mine follows the policy to a T, and will not allow logos or coupons that say redeemable at. Do I like it? No necessarily, but its not that big a deal to me, I just use those coupons at other stores that don’t have a problem with logos.

            • Jeff Walker

Thats not answering my question.. Why will they not take them?

            • Sandy

Maybe because they don’t get reimbursed for them so it is actually an expense to take a coupon they didn’t print or plan on using. If I understood the coupon trying to be used at CVS is actually a coupon being printed and promoted at Walgreens. If the question was why stores don’t accept manufacturing coupons that reference a specific store’s name or logo, I believe it is because someone along the line doesn’t understand how coupons work so they just say no. Not everyone’s mind works the same (thankfully, at times!) I went to Walmart the other night to pick up the pickles with the $1.00 off coupon Collin posted about. The price of the pickles themselves rang up higher than the shelf price tag stated, $2.48 instead of $1.98. I didn’t realize this until after I checked out:( When I pointed it out to the cashier that they should have rang up at $1.98, she stated, “Well, with the coupon you only paid $1.48.” See so some people just don’t understand.

            • mel

Sorry, my computer flipped out on me, so I had to retype and left out what Sandy said, that CVS doesn’t get reimbursed for logo’d or coupons that say redeemable at “x” store. IDK if its a bunch of hooey, but I have talked to the store manager, a DM and a corp rep on several different occassions and told cvs doesnt get reimbursed, that those type of coupons get automatically weeded out during coupon processing. I know some cvs stores do take them just to make the customer happy, but in the end its a loss to the store.

Starbucks iced coffee coupon states print limit reached or offer no longer available, I have never printed this coupon so I wonder if it is not available anymore?

    • LISA JOHNSON

I was just able to print the starbucks iced coffee coupon. Not sure why it won’t print for you.

      • marie

Same here, just printed from her link, had not prior.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How odd? It shows still available for me?!

    • paula

I tried again since other people stated they were able too and still says I have printed the number allowed or program has ended. I have printed for the starbucks refreshers but not the iced coffee, weird, maybe I will try another browser.

      • paula

Still a no go on the prints, guess I printed before I had my coffee and do not remember, lol, oh well, been making my own iced coffee for awhile now anyway and actually like mine better than the Starbucks but good price for not having to make my own:)

  8. picchu

On the 24 HR Prevacid too there is a $6 off coupon with no size restriction on http://www.coupons.com. Just need to give name and email id to print it. Makes it just $1.99 for the 14 ct!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Thanks – just added to post!

  9. Nancy

    Thank you so much!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      YW Nancy!

  10. LISA

Thanks for the matchups. Headed to CVS now to finish this weeks and get a few for next week.

  11. trisha stewart

Hey Collin i have a question about which match ups at which stores to get? I seem to get a little overwelmed reading all three stores and comparing each ads…any advice

    • swirlypop

I only do cvs. It’s the easiest system and I am able to stock plenty for my family. I used to do all 3 stores every week but I got burned out. Too much to keep up with.

    • animity

Pick one store and only coupon there. I love CVS so I skip Rite Aid and Walgreens altogether. That way you don’t burn yourself out.

    • Conswalla

I shopped at Walgreen’s Rite Aid and CVS when I 1st started couponing but within 3 months it was just too much. I only shop at CVS now. I just prefer their program.

      • marie

CVS is the easiest and IMO the most coupon friendly with the least amount of hoops to go through to redeem coupons. Sometimes Walgreens can be difficult when it comes to register rewards or multiple coupons. I just prefer CVS overall. No riteaid near me so cannot comment on their store.

    • Rebe

      CVS, hands down.

      • andrea

Agree – and my CVS folks are so friendly. I’d still do RiteAid now and then., They seem to have some items that never come up super cheap at CVS, but I haven’t kept up with having to watch the videos and not being able to use the up rewards the same day… I did like their SCR program though. But at CVS between the coupon machine, the extrabucks, beauty club, pharmacy rewards, coupon codes via email and quarterly extrabucks, plus their other coupons they send in the mail I feel like I’m getting showered with prodocts. I love CVS! And they had some of their best quarters ever so I don’t feel like I’m raiding them, but that’s mostly pharmacy related. 🙂

  12. Kristen

On the Garnier deal, it’s posted to either use the 6/2 RP or 7/14 RP coupons, however the 6/2 RP coupons expired today and won’t be able to be used tomorrow. Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oops, thanks! Removed!

      • mamascott

Can’t you still use them tonight? Our store does tomorrow’s deals after 4:00 therefore the coupon would work (if it expires today) as long as you go before midnight

        • Rebe

Yes you can but Collin usually posts deals that everyone can do, with as many exceptions and regional deals as possible.

  13. Brandi @ Savvy Student Shopper

The $6 off Prevacid coupon on coupons.com makes it only $1.99! My ad also says we’ll be getting a $3 off any $15 purchase from the Magic Coupon Machine.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Sweet! Thanks!

  14. Helen

WOW. thank you so much.you make my shopping easy.

  15. jurga

In the ad there is a coupon 30% off all CVS brand products.

    • Rebe

      Its regional.

  16. Debi

Thanks Collin for your awesome matchups like always! I wanted to let you know that I received 2 coupons from CVS yesterday (one from the red machine and one on my receipt) that will help on the sale items this week. I have 1 that is $3 off $10 back to school and office supplies and 1 that is for $2 off 2 sun protection products. I have not yet figured out who gets what coupons from these machines, but figured I’d let everyone know!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome coupons! And you’re most welcome Debi! 😀

  17. Debbie wade

    Sounds similiar to Walgreens.

  18. Vishnu

Anyone getting school supplies. Paper mate pens are 10c at office max I believe and crayons 50 cents at staples and Office Depot. I will be matching all stationary deals in staples to use up a gift card. Just wanted to put this out there for price point, for cvs shopping vs staples.

  19. Andria

Has anyone tried the cvs brand diapers? I like Walgreens brand. Is there are comparison?

    • yuliya

They are ok, a little thin. I wouldn’t put them on my kids for the night, but work just fine during the day. HTH

    • Bethany

I have used the CVS diapers at daytime and nighttime and I love them. I think they are comparable to pampers. I found them to absorb a decent amount.

    • guest

THank you for this question and the responses. I dont have kids and I’m starting to collect for a friend, a first time mommy!

    • Sara

I had a CVS employee tell me once that their new diapers are made by the same company as Luvs. I’m not sure if it’s true, but I’m under the impression that it’s a pretty close comparison to the Luvs brand. I have not used them much, but have not had a problem with them in the past.

      • Heather C.

I think they’re pretty similar to the Luvs brand. They work fine during the day, but I preferred not to use them at night, just because they don’t absorb as well as the name brands to keep my daughter comfortable at night. Definitely worth 3.99 though! 🙂

    • mily

CVS diapers are great. Work just as well as pampers baby dry, if you ask me. Wouldnt use them at night.

    • Kami

I have used them all the time for my son who is now 21months old, and I love them. I have used other name brands like Huggies, Luvs, and Pampers and my son’s would get rashes with the continued use of the name brand diapers. So I switched to using the CVS diapers along with the Dollar General store brand diapers and they are the only ones that have not gotten a rash, leaked or had a blowout. I have used both store brand diapers on all three of my boys for day and nighttime use and have not had any problems. So I would definately recommend them to anyone. Plus I love the fact that they are thin, so my baby doesn’t walk around with the diaper but look.;) HTH

      • andrea

I didn’t like the old purple bags, but the orange ones are fine. I buy them all the time, they work fine day and night for mine. If you’re not a mommy yet and only collecting for the future then buy mostly 3’s and 4’s 🙂

  20. kt

I don’t think your Sharpie and Papermate deals will work, since they are buy one get one free, only the ones you buy will show up, the free one will ring in as zero.

    • Tanya B

I was curious about this as well. Maybe I will wait to see if someone tries this and was successful.

  21. jessica

Sweet I got a CVS coupon for a free john Frieda precision foam colour up to $12.99(mailed flyer), will get two and pair with the $5/2 manuf coupon for a $2.02 money maker, thanks Collin!

    • Heather Libby

I have the same coupon and will do the same deal…However, cost will be 7.99 not a money maker. Am I missing something?

  22. edy

Anyone that are in Dallas,tx,and Houston,tx this newspapers have cpns and are free! La subasta,La semana,La suerte,El rumbo, there are at supermarkets, metro stops or they throw them in bags at houses! This inserts have colgate toothpaste cpns, colgate mouth wash 1.50/1 , 75/1 colgate toothbrush, 75/1 soft soap body wash,.75/1 irish spring body wash, speed sticks .50 cpns, so, I just got my soft soap body wash at cvs using the 2dlr cpn printing from red machine and .75 a manuf cpn for .25 cents body wash

    • Stephanie

Thanks edy. I haven’t been able to find these newspapers, though. The subasta I picked up didn’t have any coupons. Where exactly can I find La Semana?

      • Vanessa

I have a few extras. La semana is tossed at your sidewalk or yard, at least in my neighborhood in Houston.

  23. trisha stewart

thanks so much for the tips…so yall like cvs the best? i did get burned out really fast doing all three stores. walgreens use to be my fav but i got sick of the coupon ratio….will try cvs thanks

    • Stephanie

I stopped going to Walgreens when they rolled out their Balance Rewards program. I went the first week and it took forever to get the remaining $5 to get a $35 reward. CVS is so much better and it is easier to not have to worry about so many stores. I don’t go to Target as much either.

    • tanyabcoupons

I agree that CVS is much easier to shop at. You don’t have to worry about using Balance Rewards to pay for items that give you Register Rewards and vice versa. Also, Walgreens doesn’t allow you to have more coupons than items, whereas CVS doesn’t have this restriction!

  24. Jeff Walker

Thanks Collin!!! Theres also a Dermosilk print out..

  25. Jeff Walker

Can a Employee get fired for giving me the add early, taking coupons that are not for my card, even though I have that card on me, Giving me another card, when thier is x product thier and they subsitute x product for the product missing price?

    • tia

Probably. Are you asking them to do this??

      • Jeff Walker

One of the shift mangers will take the coupons not for my card by cause he thinks its not right for me to have to ring me up so many times. Also the store manger is jerk! I asked for a rain check and not in a nice way he says “what for”, i say nature made, and then i say is that a problem, do i need to go another store and he says i don’t need the attitude, i said you got one first, he says no. And then I go a day or two later to get a rain check and I was told I am being watched by that store manger..

        • edy

Cvs employees are not permitted to use manuf cpns, because they a employee discount, some cvs employees do pick cpns by red machine and are able to use them on another customer card or even extra bucks that go in a different card! But, most of the cashiers that do thie ended up getting fired! There is a cashier at my cvs that every customers wants to check out with her! And everyone knows why! So, I won’t be suprised if she gets fired next,

          • Livy

Hi in response to your question Jeff no cvs employees are not allowed to do any of the three things you stated. I should know I’m an assistant manager at a cvs. It is against store policy. We are allowed to use manufacturers coupons however we are not allowed ever to use other people’s coupons from the coupon machine it is considered stealing and grounds for termination.

        • Me

Best thing ever: Google your state’s rain check law (most states have them) and show it to managers who give you a hard time. There are a few exceptions where they’re not required to give you one (seasonal item, clearance, etc.) but for the most part they must give you one if the item is out of stock & they can’t/won’t offer a substitute product.

          • steph

            Thank you ! 🙂

    • Martha

Hate to do this… but I can’t read your post with all of the misspelled “thier.” Hope this helps!

What’s the difference between their, there, and they’re? They’re really not that complicated; once you understand their differences there shouldn’t be any more confusion.

      • Kim

Seriously? It was that important for you to say that?

        • Martha

Wouldn’t you rather someone point out a grammatical error to you (and provide a tip for remembering the rule) in a message board than on a resume?

          • Jeff Walker

No thank you. Becuase I was never strong at English Comp.

            • Martha

Feel free to ignore then, Jeff. Perhaps it will help someone else!

  26. Carol_R

Thanks Collin for the awesome match-ups.

  27. Alison Matalanis

Thanks, Collin! I always thought CVS was expensive. Boy was I wrong. I saved so much on Friday at CVS thanks to you, Collin.

  28. angel

Check your CVS mine had Sally Hansen $2 coupons for any nailpolish. It is not near the nailpolish . I found it near cosmetic racks when you enter CVS.

  29. melissa

For the Nestle that is b2g1f there is also a b1g1f skinny cow expires 7/31. My deal buy 6 use three b1g1f pay for one.

  30. claudia

Can we use the coupon for Nuance product found in the CVS Beauty REinventing Magazine to buy the nail lacquers to get a better deal? It says any product but has cosmetics pictures.

  31. Anna @ Frugal For You

Thanks for adding the possible $3 off $15 purchase store Q from the Magic coupon machine. It was in the Richmond and Baltimore ads, back cover.

For our areas, we will get this Q instead of the $0.75 off M&Ms q. (ours will be $0.25). We didn’t get the $4 off $20 last week, so thank goodness we are getting something this week!

    Happy shopping everyone!

  32. yuliya

Well, I should have read the add more careful… Went to CVS tonight and was excited to see Dermasilk Pen for $19.99 in stock (they are usually out of them) , got it and only at home noticed that the EB didn’t print. looked in the ad and sure enough it excludes this pen. No more free Dermasilk :))

    • Rebe

Thanks for the heads up, I hadnt noticed it either.

  33. Annie

The Paper Mate deal is a no go. You will have to buy 12 Paper Mate in order to hit the $10 because the buy one get one free will automatically show up in the system.

    • Cannielle

Not to be offensive but I don’t know why people think BOGO free will show both items in the system.

      • Mia

If you have to start your statement with “not to be offensive” it’s most likely offensive.

        • CoolSue

Annie is right, the total has to b3 $10 after the BOGO sale.

      • robin

I know at some stores, like my Kroger, BOGO items BOTH ring up, each at 1/2 price. This is AWESOME because you can use a q with each item.

    • Marge

Just discovered that myself, however, I also got a $2 off $10 school supply coupon at the magic coupon machine, so after that and the $3 still makes them about 40 cents a box, in my store they were 2.57

  34. Suzanne

    $2.99 Country Fresh Gallon Milk
-$0.55/1 Country Fresh Milk coupon (from 6-23 SS)
Pay $2.44, get $1.00 ExtraCare Bucks (limit 2)
    $1.44 after store rewards

    Thanks to bargainstobounty 🙂

    • tia

Definitely regional. I’ve never heard of that milk.

      • Deb

We have Country Fresh in West Michigan. Don’t know if it’s anywhere else.

  35. Julianna

I just got a CVS mailer today with a 2.00 off CVS training pants, fyi you should be able to use this on top of the 6.99 with 3.00 ECB. Making them only 1.99!!!! 🙂

    • dealhousewife

any idea how to get this CVS mailer? I shop all the time, but never get anything…? TIA!

  36. steph

I noticed the 98% rule no longer applies at my CVS. Boo ! Anyone else notice this ?!

    • Cannielle

98% doesn’t apply to tiered deals ONLY.

      • daltonjsmom

Thank you for this information. I have gotten caught on this a time or two without knowing why.

      • steph

        What does that mean ?

        • Mel

For the normal Spend deals, like spend $10 on Crayola, get $3, the ECB will print when you’ve made a min purchase of 98% of the required spend amount, so a $9.80 purchase is enough to get the ECB. The new deals that are “spend this” OR “spend that” will not print at 98%, those tiered deals you need to meet the required spend amount. Example, last weeks pg deal, I bought almost $30 worth, but only got a $5 ECB. I has to buy a dawn dish soap to get to $30 and my other $5 printed.

  37. fishnsurf

Went to CVS today. Ended up getting a $5.00 Extra Bucks (think that’s what it’s called ~ Free CVS $ basically), Plus a $2.00 off Sally Hanson products. So i went ahead and bought the foot cream (great for dry/cracked heels) Total = $1.07 Awesome, especially since i love this cream but hate paying $7.99 for it ~~ Score !!!

  38. savedbycoupons

Today I got 2 Optic White Rinse and 2 Finish dishwashing pods, paying $.68 plus tax. My store is not a 24 hour store and I was there at 7:00 this morning when they opened. I got the only 2 of each item. I think they are either putting these products up for customers or for themselves. I hate to put a plan together, only to discover that on the first day of the sale, there are none of the items available. Glad I got mine and the $6.00 ECB, but it’s still very disappointing!

  39. DanniLynn

So, I wanted to warn everyone buying any clearance items at CVS. Yesterday, I saw some of the skincare on clearance and thought the Olay Acne Protocol Kit was a really good deal. Since, I’m pretty wary of ingredients in things because of a severe allergy that lead to Stevenson’s Johnson’s Syndrome a year ago, I looked them over. Good thing! The boxes were EXPIRED! Products with chemicals such as, Beta-hydroxy undergo a chemical change with time, rendering them unsafe to use past the expiration date. I am hoping this is a mistake, but I will be checking EVERYTHING I buy from there from now on. Skincare and even cosmetics have a shelf life. Make sure you aren’t scammed into purchasing unsafe or ineffective merchandise!!!! I keep seeing the Crest whitening strips on sale 🙁 if you bought a box recently I would suggest checking it.. just to be sure!!!

And thanks for sharing all the amazing deals everyone! You rock!

    • Mel

Yeah, I think that was mentioned when Collin posted about the roc & Olay clearance finds. I always always ck dates on everything I buy, ESP at the drug stres. Cvs I have read is more prone to selling exp merchandise.

      • Deb

Yes, the Renu contact solution I got there last week was over 1 yr. expired! Luckily, they exchanged it for me.

    • marie

Not just beauty area but grocery also. I always check the exp. date on anything I am going to buy. Most of the time dates are good but sometimes short exp. dates so its always good to check.

  40. D

For the Coppertone, do I have to spend $15 before or after coupon to get the 5$ ExtraBucks? Like if I bought 2 for 16 and then used a $5 off I would only pay 11. But before coupon it would be $16. I forget how it works! 🙂

    • picchu

      Before coupons.

      • D

Thanks!! I thought that. Kids take all the brain cells! 😉

  41. tina

I got a 4 of 10 any healthcare products. What comes under healthcare?

  42. Diane

When I tried to print the $1 Skintimate coupon, I received a message saying the link has been deactivated because the maximum number of offers have already been printed.

  43. Stacey

I’m trying to print the Finish detergent coupons, but the coupons are only valid for the Jet Dry or Turbo Rinse Aids – am I missing something? Thank you!

  44. allie

    Colin,
You are my hero!!!!!!!! Not only do I provide for my family but donate TONS of stuff to different places and too other families in need!! Thank you so much. I don’t know what I would do without you!!

  45. Heather Libby

Where is the John Freida 5.00/2 coupon. I can’t find it with the above links.

    • Tara

I am having the same problem. I searched everywhere on the links provided as well.

  46. edy

Check your local kroger stores! They have airwick refill cans for $1.37 clearance, garnier shampoos, herbal shampoo, pantene shampoo

  47. Jamie

Question for the BOGO right guard / dry idea deal.
Can you mix and match one of each? That way you get both saving star deals and use both high value $1.50/1 coupons. Or is the deal one brand or the other?

    • mel

      you can mix or match!

    • Seth

Jamie…can you please share what you plan on doing??? Thanks!!! : )

      • Jamie

My plan didn’t work as my cvs was out of the dry idea deodorant! Boo. I winded up getting two right guard body washes (with 15% more product in each bottle, woot!). $4.99 – $1.50 Q, paid $3.49 + tax and will get $1 saving star deposit. Not an AWESOME deal.. wish I had a second right guard coupon but we needed it and it wasn’t a bad price for two bottles.
Although on another note, CVS MCM gave me a $2/$10 hair care coupon so that sweetened the Garnier deal, paid $8 OOP, got the $5ecb.
It also gave me $3/$2 men’s speed stick deodorant no size exclusions so I got the .5oz travel sizes @ $1.27 ea, gave me a little overage.
AND got a $2/1 digestive aid coupon from the MCM (I can’t remember the exact wording on the coupon) and was able to get a 99c 8ct tums roll with it which gave me more overage.

  48. Veronica

Wondering if there is a higher limit on the spend $12 on CVS brand get back $4 ECB because I spent $21 yesterday and got my ECB and my recepit says to spend $3 more to get the next one. Has anyone else gotten it more than once?

    • mel

Yes, its actually a monthly deal til 7/27, with a limit of 5.
