You can’t use manuf paper coupons with individual Savingstar e-coupons. If you click on the “i” for each e-offer, the T/C says “One coupon per purchase of specified product(s)…No other coupon may be used with this coupon” Only on the buy more or save offers, can you use paper coupons.

Beware of the Saving Star deals, as I have found that they take in to consideration the coupons you use and you won’t get the savings. Very disappointing. I tried the Axe deal recently and it was spend $15 get $5 in your SS account. I did it and used coupons, but when I checked my SS account it shows I was credited for the amount I spent AFTER coupons.

That’s odd. I did the axe deal at cvs Sun and got $9 towards the $15. I used ebs and the $1.25/2 cpn. Might want to contact them. I’ve had good luck with them replying and crediting my account on 2 different occasions.

I would assume it would take the price after coupons, as they have no idea what the price was before…however the deal Collin posted is on one single box it doesn’t matter how much you pay for it. I personally love SS I consider it free cash, I click all the coupons when they come out and then if use them great and if I don’t oh well! HTH 🙂

I’ve always gotten credit even if I used a paper q on the same item. Weird.

    • DeAnn

But did it give you the full price of the item, or the price after the coupon? I am new to SavingStar, but not sure I will pursue deals with them.. I like Ibotta way better!

What did you buy and how much were they? What did savingstar credit?

        • DeAnn

I bought 2 shave gel @ 4.99/2.49, and 2 deodorants 5.49/2.74 used 2) $-2 coupons plus $1.50/2. They gave me credit for exactly how much I spent $10.21, not the $15.71. I did receive the $5 Up from Rite Aid.

Just gonna throw my 2 cents here lol 🙂 I don’t do Ibotta or anything else that seems like work for that matter, I do Savingstar, e coupons for grocery stores like Shop Rite and my regular coupons. When I do Savingstar I look at it as a bonus for example at Stop and Shop ( a while ago) I got 6 Greek yogurts at 1.00 a piece it took off 5.00 instant in-store saving and I used a $1/5 coupon and got back the 1.00 Saving Star. When I did this deal it was free yogurt not a 1.00 MM I find this way of thinking is so much less stressful that buying something I may not need just because savingstar or ibotta will make it better. When I coupon I consider my time, effort, gas, ink, emotions etc to ensure I don’t go crazy like I did when I first found couponing.. Sorry for such a long post just wanted to put it out there 🙂

I say thanks for sharing experience!

I feel the same way, I think of it as bonus money I don’t factor it into the deals. 🙂

Anybody have issues with using smiths and saving star. Cvs purchases show up in a day or too, but I am yet to get credit for smiths shopping. We are not much of a cereal family and hence all these deals are paving way to food bank donations. Glad to be able to finally give back.

Does this deal start on August 3rd or 4th?
