If your store is more than a few minutes away, its definitely worth a call first… The two stores near me strongly dislike these sales because corporate doesn’t send them extra or notify them much in advance, so most of the time they only have a few on hand (the “normal” amount on a shelf and none in the back). They have been super nice and friendly, but these sales drive them crazy because they deal with irate customers all day (like a few weeks ago with the $6 Rescue Bots… They had FIVE in their inventory. Period.)
I agree. This happened to us in June when we went to get some board games that were on super special for $5. They had just a few and they did not even have them marked with the sale because the store was never notified by corporate.

There are a few dolls on the shelf here in Rochester, NY but they are not marked.
Also, they do not look like the Princesses pictured. 🙂
My store had 2, ariel and cinderella. Definitely call first. Not worth the drive especially since they didn’t have the princess my daughter wanted.
