I just entered the code and clicked on the coupon when it popped up and downloaded it to my acct. Make sure you enter the code first then it will appear as a coupon.
FYI!!! Meijer facebook page says all Meijer will stop double coupons on August 25th. Sad, sad day!!
I’ve looked all over their FB page…where did they annouce this? Just checking if it’s across the board, because I know that some stores already do not double in N. Ohio so just wondered if this is a regional decision. All my stores in my area still double so doubt they’ll be able to pull this one w/o losing customers to the other stores that still do double.
It is all over their page but here is part of what was written:
Effective Monday, August 26th, Meijer will no longer be doubling coupons. This new policy will affect all of the nearly 200 stores in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.
Meijer posted the following explanation for this decision on their Facebook page:
We are shifting our resources to mPerks digital coupons. Less than five percent of Meijer customer used double coupons, but nearly 1.5 million have signed up for mPerks, with as many as 25,000 joining each week. We are also expanding mPerks to include rewards for our pharmacy. Of course, in addition to mPerks, we will still accept coupons at face value, and still offer our everyday low prices and weekly specials.
Thanks Steph, as I did finally see explanations from reps on irate customer feedback that it seems like it is across the board. I have to admit, it will certainly affect me in a bad way that it will hinder some of my shopping habits with them =( Now I’m afraid others will follow suit (ie: Kroger still doubles in my area..for now). The saddest part is I do a lot of donations to my local food bank via doubling coupons so it won’t affect me it will just limit my ability to donate. Very sad.
Maybe the had less then 5% since only prob. 5% doubled! They never double in this area! lol
I think this is a consolation prize. They will stop double coupons in all of their stores on August 25th.
Agreed. They’re buttering their customers up with these freebies.

Just got back from Meijer in Ohio and a clerk said they are doing away with the double coupons. Also, SIL works at another store also in Ohio and they were informed yesterday about it she said. Looks to be true!
ugh I hate that now they will stop doubling. and after they changed their Meijer card policy we don’t get the 20% off grocery when you spend however much on your card.now its just the 5%. we used to save hundreds with the 20% 🙁
oh and also in the moerks go into the photo and there will be a coupon for 5 free prints(4 by 6)
I hate that all the good stores that double are not going to double coupons now I am only going to have one store double in my town. They better have some really great deals.
