    wow. going at 8am

Does anyone really use baby lotion? Like either for their babies or themselves? I got like 3 bottles for baby gifts and I never use the stuff, so I Freecycled it.

    • Em

Haha- nope. I never used it, baby powder, baby oil- anything! A little Dr. Bronner’s bar soap and we were good to go

      • Em

And coconut oil on the bum for rashes- we cloth diaper.

    • janel

      We use baby ganics lotion.

    • MommySpendsLess

Before I started couponing (which coincided with having my first job out of college = relatively low paying) I used generic baby lotion as my daily lotion. It was cheap and it came in a nice lavender scent.

With my daughter (now 4yo) I used Aveeno baby wash and Aveeno baby lotion. (When I was pregnant, I was working minutes from Kmart and back then their coupon double days were great so I was snagging it for $0.79/bottle. I think my stockpile lasted just past her second birthday.)

Maybe it’s skin type or maybe it’s climate (we live in Florida where the A/C is on 9 months out of the year) but I can’t stand not to use lotion after every shower so it seemed natural to occasionally put some on my daughter. It always made her skin super soft and when I didn’t she’d get dry spots on her elbows and hands.

I never used baby powder though and while I’ve used baby oil for various things, it’s never been for moisturizing!

    • christine

I use all of it. I like the new baby smell 🙂

    • Erin

On babies, no. My now toddler always asks for lotion after her bath, though, so that’s how we’re using up our gift bottles! Powder, never, though I do use Gold Bond myself.

      • Emily

I use the powder for the beach. Powder makes sand slide off your body.

        • MommySpendsLess

Wow! That is genius! Seriously! 🙂 We live in Florida – I will definitely be trying that out. How does it interact with sunscreen though? (I’m picturing liquid plus powder equals paste). I’m assuming you have to reapply the powder if you go in the water…

          • Kelsey

I believe you use the powder as your’re going to leave, before you get in the car in order to get all the sand off your legs and feet. I saw it on Pintrest, hope that helps :).

    • Holly

Regarding the baby powder. I use it for my hair (to absorb oil when I didn’t wash it everyday). But when my nephew was peeing the bed, I would wash him off then put baby powder after I dried him. I noticed 1 time that he was extremely red from itching while wearing the wet clothes. I assumed baby powder would calm his skin after a bath, which it did, but I could have used lotion or Calamine.

I grew up where all parents in the family had baby oil and powder in the house. So, even without kids, I always have it around (at least a travel size).

  3. Amanda

Is this on-line only or in stores too??

    • Teresa

it is actually in store only

      • melissa

no i just did it online and it worked

        • Angela

          Worked for me online too!

          • T

I also ordered inline :). Thanks for the tip!

  4. Elizabeth H.

Hi guys, I was just looking at the ad for the bogo offer. At the bottom of the page it says cannot be combined with other offers. Just didn’t want everyone to make the trip if they wouldn’t honor it.

  5. Sarah

Also, it usually takes off the B1G1 free item off right away and then the $ coupons after that. They would probably never give you money off of a free item.

    • Sandy

It would work out the same.

  6. Sammy

In my experience BRU never ever lets you combine any type of their offers

  7. April

I don’t have one of these near me! I wish I did. I just found out I am pregnant and am wanting to start stocking up!

    • Brenda

I think you can do it online, too, April. Good luck to you!

  8. Jamie

I am wondering if you have the option to elect a refund for the priceof the subscription rather than taking it, like grass been an option in Olay gift baskets in the past. Please share if anyone knows!

    • Crystal

i would like to know this as well. i already have the parent magazine subscription.

  9. cyndie

I just ordered online with free in store pick up and it worked for me.

  10. Julie

I checked online and the price online reflects the $5 off. So the small sets are marked down to $7.99. Then they are BOGO on top of that.

  11. Danielle

The deal didn’t work for me online.

  12. Gail O

Worked online for me!!! Picking up in store. Thanks!!

  13. guest

7:20 a.m. EST I just ordered this deal 2 for $7.99 ($8.47 with tax) for in store pick up at my local Toys R Us

  14. Sonia

Worked for me online as well.

  15. Yj

I ordered online for in store pick up too! It works for me~! Woohoo!! Thanks!!!

  16. Paula McIntosh

    Worked

  17. Jackie

I’m in Texas and I just did the deal for 2 large gift sets. The online price reflects the $5 off sales prices ($17.99) and when I added 2 to my cart, it applied the B1G1 offer. Two large gift sets for $19.43 after tax with free in-store pickup. Thank you!

  18. Erica

    Worked for me too!

  19. Katrina

I can’t decide. Can i get these products cheaper with coupons?

    • Erin

Depends if you want all the “extras” that come with this–lotion, powder, pouf, basket. I get bodywash for less than $1 and I have no need of the other items (and Baby Magic is nauseatingly strongly scented), so not a good deal for me.

  20. rn30032

at Katrina…u are not gonna find 2 full sets for cheaper thanthis

  21. rn30032

help…I chose store pickup but still getting charged for shipping

    • peacockfamily05

Did you change to store pick up for BOTH sets? I changed one and didn’t realize that it wouldn’t change both. Then I realized what I did.

  22. Jessica

I just went online, the small set is showing $7.99 each. When I added two it done the BOGO deal and I can pick up in store for free.. so total was $7.99 plus tax for 2 small gift sets.

  23. Amy

Just worked for me online. Thank you for another HOT deal Collin!

  24. rn30032

nevermind I figured it out…good deal!! gonna keep in my gift closet…sure someone I know will be preggo soon

  25. Lauren

Ordered two of the smaller sets for a total of $7.99. I’m in Baltimore, Maryland.

  26. rn30032

$8.55 wit htax for pick up in Tucker,Ga!! Really dont need this, but this can be 2 baby shower gifts knocked off for less than $9 and I am sure someone I know will be preggo soon

  27. Arielle

Thank you!! I’m on bed rest right now with this pregnancy and this deal is awesome for me! Just bought the 2 small gift sets online for total $8.47! Sending hubby to pick up at store!

  28. peacockfamily05

My store didn’t have the smaller set for pick up so I bought the bigger sets. Still a good deal! Thanks!

  29. Candice

Thanx!!!! Just starting stockpile for our little surprise on the way, baby #5! This is perfect. 1 for us and 1 for the next baby shower……

  30. heather

mine is not applying the b1g1 free..ugh

    • Lauren

Make sure you are not using Chrome browser.

      • julieanne28

        Mine worked fine using Chrome…

  31. Caitlin

I had to rethink this one as no one I know is pregnant right now and if I put it into my gift closet, by the time I got around to it the subscription would be expired and then just my luck it’d probably be a few years expired! LOL

    • Caitlin

I guess I could just take the subscription out, but then I’d have to take off the plastic from the package

    • Erin

If you read reviews, one person said the subscription was already expired when she got hers. You aren’t going to know if it is expired until you open it.

  32. Dvbo

Thanks! Worked for me online with free in store pick up!

  33. allison

For those of you who are used to Johnson & Johnson Head to Toe wash… These Baby Magic products have a really strong perfume smell. I used it once on my daughter and threw the rest of the bottle away. Just a heads up!

    • MommySpendsLess

For further comparison, I used Aveeno regularly and by comparison I thought the Johnson & Johnson kind smelled strong

  34. cynthia

no store close and with shipping its to much boo

  35. Kelly

I just ordered 2 of the smaller.gift sets for pick up. Everything went through fine until the end. It said that one was not available. I dont really want just one for 7.99. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    • Erica

I there another store near you? I switched to a store that was a little further away and they had two available.

  36. yvonne

Ordered the small one with store pick up today. Need to make a trip in that direction today anyway, so sweet deal!

  37. Amanda

Worked online w/ free same-day store pick-up! Just found out we’re expecting again, so this was a great snag! 🙂 Thanks Collin!

  38. Ashley

Worked for me! Picking up in-store, total was 8.53 (7.99+ tax)! Awesome deal because we just ran out of this stuff!

  39. Holly

With all my local stores, I select 2 of the cheaper gift set and it’s only reflecting the 7.99 price each. But I’ll do ship to home and it gives me both sales. Does that mean that my store(s) only have 1 in-stock??

    • Holly

This is just ridiculous. I’m giving up.
I have selected all the stores in my area (including 1 20 miles away b/c my s/o works near there) and it will NOT give me both sales!

      • Holly

I guess before I freaked out, I should have thoroughly read through the comments regarding clearing out my browser history. It worked! Well, hopefully they don’t cancel my order. And, hopefully the store I’m going to for pick still has the baby wipes in stock (local ad reflects 528 ct wipes at $9. A good price imo)

  40. Crystal

thanks so much collin. i just ordered mines for store pick up.

  41. Margaret

Worked for me for in-store pick up & I’m near Orlando woohoo!!

  42. Christina

For anyone having trouble online, make sure you clear your browsing history. I am using Chrome, and at first it was not giving me the BOGO deal with in store pickup. As soon as I selected a store it changed the total price. After completely clearing by history, it worked just fine. $8.55 with free in store pickup for 2 small sets. Great deal, considering each bottle sells for over $3.

  43. Andrea

Just ordered online with free in store pickup

  44. Kathy

I tried doing this deal but when I went to check out, it said that my store has limited quantities and they adjusted my total down to one to reflect what the store had available. I cancelled the order.

  45. Pam

Just worked for me, by selecting in-store pickup, for the larger set. What a great deal. Thanks for the tip!

  46. Keri

This is a great deal, but in the smaller gift pack you’re essentially getting 27 oz of product for $4 ($.15 per oz) as the 3 bottles are only 9 oz each. If you’re not interested in the rubber duck, bath pouf, or caddy, you may want to consider buying the single larger size products, which are also B1G1 Free. The Baby Magic Shampoo – 16.5 oz is B1G1 Free at $2.98, so only $1.49 each ($.09 per oz). And the Baby Magic Lotion 30 oz. is $5.49 and B1G1 Free, so only $2.75 each ($.09 per oz). I don’t care about the extras, so I’m going for the larger single bottles which are a better deal per oz. That way I can pick the products I like most anyway!

Check out the B1G1 Free offer at https://www.toysrus.com/search/index.jsp?s=A-StorePrice-TRUS&searchURL=true&fbn=Brand+Name+Secondary|Baby+Magic&kw=baby+magics&fbc=1&f=Taxonomy%2FTRUS%2F2254197&f=PAD%2FBrand+Name+Secondary%2FBaby+Magic&view=all&pg=1

  47. cat

Awesome!!! Thanks so much Collin!!! Forgot I had a $10 Babies R Us gift card in my wallet….found it yesterday, lol!!! Used it with this deal and got two of the larger gift baskets for just $9.25!!! Super excited!!!

  48. Betsy

My kids reacted to Baby Wash brand products. Just be aware of that as it had mineral oil in it last time I checked and that’s what caused them to react. We stick with Eucerin. No reactions and the entire family can use it without smelling like a baby 🙂

    • Betsy

      Oops…I mean Baby MAGIC.

  49. Amanda

Wow Collin, thank you! I will save one for a gift and use one for myself…I have really sensitive skin and love the smell of baby lotion. I also use the wash for removing eye makeup, among other things. This is fantastic!

    • Amanda

Also, forgot to say…I was able to order this online. LOVE that! Paid just over $19 for the two large sets.

  50. Heather g

    Worked for me online 🙂
