Here are a couple examples of what’s available…

Complete Code $6.99 (Regularly $39.99)

Widely considered one of the best practical guides to programming, Steve McConnell’s original CODE COMPLETE has been helping developers write better software for more than a decade. Now this classic book has been fully updated and revised with leading-edge practices—and hundreds of new code samples—illustrating the art and science of software construction.

The Myths of Innovation $2.99 (Regularly $14.99)

In this new paperback edition of the classic bestseller, you’ll be taken on a hilarious, fast-paced ride through the history of ideas. Author Scott Berkun will show you how to transcend the false stories that many business experts, scientists, and much of pop culture foolishly use to guide their thinking about how ideas change the world.

Steal Like an Artist: 10 Things Nobody Told You About Being Creative $1.99 (Regularly $10.95)

When Mr. Kleon was asked to address college students in upstate New York, he shaped his speech around the ten things he wished someone had told him when he was starting out. The talk went viral, and its author dug deeper into his own ideas to create Steal Like an Artist, the book. The result is inspiring, hip, original, practical, and entertaining.

Make sure you check the reviews for textbooks b/c they don’t always convert to the electronic version in a user friendly way. And I think Amazon has a policy that you can return ebooks for a short time.
