I did this deal early morning today and purchased 21 long sleeves shirts for my three kids. Fall is around the corner and I don’t want to wait because the prices will go up on the fall and winter clothes.

Total was around $111 and came down to $83 after the 20% coupon. Earned two $20 ($40 altogether) Place Cash plus I reached 1000 points to earn an extra $5.

Planning to use the TCP cash on the hoodies or the outerwear in September because that’s when you can redeem them.
So it’ll basically be like “spend $80 Get $45 off” on the future purchase. Love it !!!

I also went thru shopathome.com to earn 3% cash back.

I think it’s a good deal. Girls tops are so adorable.

I wanted to mention the quality of children’s place items. Last time there was a deal I bought my son 4 pairs of pjs because he out grew all of his. He wore 2 of the pairs twice and they both have holes in them already. One of the sleeve and one on the back!

I have had really good luck with children’s place clothes. I like to buy them for my oldest because I know they will still be in good shape for his brother when he is big enough.

Yup. I’ve always had GREAT luck with CP clothes until recently. My daughter wore a pair of bike shorts one time, and I found a tiny pinhole in them. Those tiny holes usually appear in Old Navy tees. My son–who NEVER wears out the knees of his jeans–wore through a pair that had been worn maybe five times. If you have the time, Ashley, email CP a complaint about the quality. I think they are using cheaper raw goods and vendors. 🙁

I’ve actually noticed some items are offs quality lately. I bought some of the matchables tees that were less than $1.50 a few weeks ago and they look way more worn than they should after one or two washes. I buy a lot of CP stuff at the end of the season so I can resell it after my son outgrows it, and I often get 1.5 times what I pay for it new. I hope this isn’t a sign that their quality is getting worse!

      • Caitlin

Offs quality? That was supposed to be “of lower” instead.

I’ve never bought CP pajamas but otherwise my daughter almost exclusively wears Children’s Place. Maybe it’s because she outgrows her clothes every 6-10 months (she just turned 4) or maybe she’s exceptionally gentle on clothing but we haven’t had any problems with things holding up. She has several of their “matchables” skirts, a few of the “utility” skirts (most of which get weekly wear/wash), countless graphic tees, both long and short sleeve, and a couple pairs of jeans (we’re in Florida so those actually get the least use). Like anything cloth, eventually they’ll start to fade or look ‘soft’ but except for some leggings she’s outgrown most things before they get too worn looking.

Sorry you had bad luck with them!

We’ve had good luck so far. I bought my niece a bunch of matchable skorts and tanks and she’s worn them all summer and they still look good enough to start school in. I have a hard time with kids pajamas in general whether I buy them from target, kohls or even walmart. They seem to shrink to belly-baring or get pilly. I had to laugh my niece said a few days ago “Aunt Casey, I think it’s time to donate these pjs.” The shirt had shrunk several inches. I always try to buy them on clearance so I am not investing too much.

Ugh! I made a mistake on my order…I was just at the $40 mark (to receive the CCash) and was going to put something else in my cart when I hit “place order” instead. Dumb. There is free shipping- so I can still order my other item…BUT…if I take back the other item to the store that I do not need…I won’t qualify for the Cash. Will they take it away???

    • Ann Dee

Good question. Maybe you can get store credit for the return and keep the PlaceCash.

I’m crossing my fingers that there will be a few things on sale when we can use our place cash so I can get a steal of a deal. In the past they raise all the prices back up and everything ends up being the same as if it was on sale (after place cash). We’ll see….

This is a great price on boys shorts…darn it if I didn’t just buy some when I was outta town for a higher price. Won’t be back to Park City Outlets to return them ever. Oh well.
