My store had $2, $3, $5 and $10 clearance items by the entrance as well as 70% and up off clothing. And I had forgotten my coupon so the cashier pulled out a paper from underneath and scanned it also they let my friends use it on her mobile device.

I had an awkward experience yesterday. As i went to check out the cashier insisted that my coupon was not going to work before she scanned anything. She kept arguing with me for five minutes finally i lost it and told her to just scam the shoes and the coupon and we just go from there. She rolled her eyes and then she says “huh it worked, but is not going to work on this other ones” i got frustrated left behind the other pair and left. I was not about to argue with this child again… 🙁
It would depend on the shoes, normally any athletic type shoe, Nike, Converse etc are excluded. She should have tried to scan it first and then if it didn’t work, let you know.
