Back in May of this year, I posted here about Nextdoor, a private social network for neighbors and the fact that they were offering up a FREE $50 Starbucks Gift Card when you referred friends (and I did in fact receive a $50 Starbucks card for referring my sidekick, Mary!).


Well, I am happy to report that Nextdoor is back with another referral opportunity! And this time, you can snag a $50 Amazon.com card (and your friend will get a FREE $50 Amazon card too!).

Here’s how it works…

* If you’re a current member of Nextdoor, just refer a friend to start a new Nextdoor website in a different neighborhood than yours. Note that your friend must not have an existing Nextdoor site in their neighborhood to qualify.

* If you’re not yet a member, you can sign up through a referral link (feel free to leave yours in the comments section below!). Also refer friends by sending an email through your Nextdoor account or by sharing your unique referral link on Facebook or Twitter.

* Once your friend launches their new Nextdoor website with 10 verified members (note that your friend will only have 21 days to complete this), you’ll each get a $50 Amazon Gift Card.

* And there is no limit to the number of referrals you can make and gift cards you can earn. Sweet! 😀

          I had trouble getting my gift card, did you receive one for referring me? I’m pretty sure it was your link I used…the customer support guys are working on it, so if you haven’t gotten one yet, you should be soon! 🙂

      I believe the link that Collin posted in the post is her referral link. She does this free for us and we should be using her referral links so that she gets credit.

    only people in your neighborhood can join under your link, and you also have to have legit information as you must verify with a credit card, home phone, cell phone or post card. no way 10 people I know will hand out any of this info…awesome for those of you that can get it!

    it is not able to validate using mobile..is every one using credit or debit card for validation..is it safe?
