has any1 attended this in the past? wonder if it is worth the 1.5 h drive to the mall. ๐Ÿ™‚

I went last year at our Local simon mall. I would say that it’s not worth 1.5 h drive but I did enjoy myself. They had like 15 different vendors like Scentsy, Mary Kay, 31, and Chick fil a had some samples of their new salads, Auntie Ann’s had FREE pretzels- Super Yummy! I remember also getting an awesome coupon to The Limited that you only could get at the Girl’s Night out, they also handed out a goodie bag to everyone and I really have enjoyed that bag. = ) The only thing I didn’t really like is that women brought their husbands which made it more crowded. Wish it was just FOR women and their babies if they need to bring them. Hope that helps!

It’s fun and does get crowded. More like vendors trying to promote their business, but usually the food samples are good. I’m opposed to the above comment. Children annoyed me. I went without mine and had to put up with everyone else’s. Ugh! lol If you don’t mind that. Shopping is always fun! An hour and a half? I don’t know. That’s like $20 in gas for me. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Unless you plan a trip for other reasons as well and then enjoy that too.

I went to Mom’s Night Out in May and enjoyed it. It was a small event at my mall and no crowds. I got free stuff and won a $25 Macy’s gift card.

    thanks lovelies for your replies.

yea, not worth going..sounds more miss than hit. Dont like driving in traffic time, and it will be dark by the time I get home. also that particular Simon mall is kind of ZZZZZZ to go to. lol

My daughter and I went last event, and we had a blast. It was not very crowded at all. We played some awesome games on stage accessorizing models and such. My daughter won a full size Yankee candle and a $25 Pandora gift card, and we went and got a charm for her bracelet. We also had a lot of free food, and goodie bags and a flower for each girl. Really nice, and I got to spend quality time with my daughter. We are going tomorrow for sure.

My local mall is pretty close – 10 minutes. I have gone several years.

It is BORING. unorganized. Nobdy(staff & stores) knows what to do. Stores barely participate. They run OUT of samples & prizes VERY quick. Musical ‘acts’ are WAAAY below high school level.

I am NOT going to go.

Here’s my review for the Girls Night out 2013….

I went to the Girls Night Out last night at Lenox Mall in Atlanta. It was alright, not as good as they described it would be. The “swag bags” were mostly filled with catalogs and coupons for things such as “20% off with a purchase of $120 or more” or “$50 off with a purchase of $500 or more” for mostly high end stores. The best thing about the swag bag was the insulated bag itself. Oh and the cute little can of diet coke they were handing out. I threw out 80% of the the contents because it was mostly advertising materials.

These are the things I kept:
a little pouch from eeco, I guess its to wear while you work out, can’t really tell it has a zipper on it.
a stain remover pen from a local piano company
a small mirror from a local photography company
a little Trina Turk notebook (the best thing in there)
‘Free people’ cloth bag (a REALLLLYYYY thin bag) I mistook it for a scarf initially
maybe 2 or 3 coupons that i MIGHT use.

The instore promotions weren’t that great either.
Auntie Annes for example had a deal “One free pretzel with a purchase of a combo” and the coupons they gave in the bags, “1 free pretzel with a purchase of 2 pretzels”
Banana Republic and some other stores were offered wine while shopping.
No major discounts, only coupon I received without an exclusion was a 20% of any Kenneth Cole purchase. Aveda had a neat coupon for a free handmassage. Thats about it.

The food they were sampling out was the only thing that was fun. Ocean Prime is a really nice restaurant that was handing out dessert samples and hor’derves. Godiva gave out chocolate truffles, local organic cotton candy samples.

It was good to see what it was about, but I don’t think I’ll be attending next year.
