I got that one too (buy 3 get 1 free)and I couldn’t use it along with the DG store coupon.
yea im pretty sure trying to do this would result in another yelling at again. i wont go in my local dollar general store as long as the new manager is there. shes flat out yelled at me 3 times now, im done. customer service does nothing, i get nowhere. im thinking about writing to corporate somebody might read it or respond then, im sure they dont get many letters anymore. though its been several weeks now since the last occurrence. thanks for posting, hopefully somebody has some luck 🙂
Dollar General is hellish to use coupons @. Every time I try to stack a legit deal, they refuse to let me, they tell me they can’t enter them in or some kind of crap story, I have called corporate, some district manager calls me, I explain the situation, he tells me he’s calling the store to straighten it out and to go ahead and take my coupons he’ll tell them to take them, I go to the store and try to use them explain I talked to your manager, and they are rude, tell me they know nothing about it. They are the shadest, dirtiest, company I have ever traded with, I no longer shop there, free or not.
Mt store wouldn’t take it because the mfg coupon states cannot be used with other coupons on same item.
It’s a bummer to hear you guys have such trouble at your Dollar General…the last time I used coupons at my dollar general was I think to get free bic pens and I had no problems at all…the cashier even joked and said “you knew that was going to happen, didn’t you?” when my total was free :p But I haven’t been there in a while since it’s pretty far out of the way…did they change their computer systems or something? I could swore I saw that somewhere…
My store would totally FREAK if I tried this! They won’t let me use two coupons in one transaction because it’s “limit one per customer”..I tried explaining the difference but they refuse to listen!
I’ve taken the coupon policy in with me and showed them and they have NEVER let me stack a coupon. I always get a different answer as to why I can’t use both. They won’t even try to run them through. I work full time, so I can’t shop during the corporate office’s business hours. I have tried to contact them through email many times and have NEVER gotten a response. I am done trying to stack the coupons there.
I tried a deal like this at my DG a couple of weeks ago and they flat out told me they did not accept “internet coupons”..even when I’ve tried to use DG printable! Go figure. I’ve called customer service in the past and they’ve returned my call but still nothing has changed.
DG Never wants to accept coupons. I too have called and emailed……no results. I have even printed pout the policy and they still do not follow it! They are the worst!
DG is rude, they will pick everything they can to refuse the coupon, you better double check every words printed in coupon and match the picture (even color) with the item you plan to buy to increase the chance of coupon success.
Avoid DG, period.
With all the negative comments, I just wanted to say that the manager at the DG in Leander, TX is always so friendly and helpful and never gives me a hard time when I use coupons. I haven’t tried this deal yet, but I have only positive things to say about him (even though I don’t know his name!) 🙂
Jeez… makes me wish I read all the coments before I wasted papaer and toner. I guess I will have to try it… and report back on what happened!
I used my coupons today with no problem. Got all 6 free.
I went to one Dollar General and they flat out refused. I have three within a few miles to me so I drove to another (it was on the way). I convinced him to scan it and see if it would work. He did, and it did. They are just grumpy over there.
I did it today with no problems and a new cashier that was working by himself. Scan the DG coupon first and it takes .50 off each one, then scan the mfg coupon and they have to write on and enter $3 on the coupon. Paid 28 cents oop. But the last time I tried to do this, the cashier was saying I couldn’t use and I was telling her that you could because one was DG and one was mfg, just so happened the mfg walked by and told her that I was right but had to manually enter the DG coupons. Good luck with it. According to their coupon policy, you can do this.
Actually, the DG coupon I cut out of the insert from a few weeks ago states “Coupon not valid with other coupons for the same item.” I would assume that means you cannot do this deal, especially since it is hit or miss with coupons at DG. I won’t be trying it. It’s just not worth the hassle.
Did anyone print this coupon out? That can share it. I went on the site today and they are completely different coupons!
I usually have good luck with Qs at my DG. I had trouble with this and had my speech all prepared & read out of the policy. My plan fell flat when the lady read off my Q “not valid with any other coupons…” OOOPS. Deal is not valid according to DG policy, as it clearly states “as long as neither coupon states that it is not valid with other coupons.” This deal is not legit. I left my Renuzit behind and will try to find it again somewhere else (free).
I just try this deal today. She had to manually enter coupon.But I got all 6 free.
The cashier in Omaha, NE near 90th and Fort (Theresa) would not take the coupons and told me to call the manager in the morning. Her tone was extremely rude. She also contradicted herself by stating I could use both a DG and manufacture coupon (stacking) but then went on to say that I have pay for 6 and get another 6 free if I want to use both coupons. Additionally, I bought 4 Caress at $2.50 and this weeks deal an automatic $3.00 comes off with a $10.00 purchase. I also used a $1/2 coupons and the total came to $9.00 plus tax. I know they can override whatever they want whenever they want. Because for this transaction she had to override and charge me $6.00 plus tax. The correct price.

I got 12 renuzits and gave her 2 of DG coupons $1×2 mnq coupons and she wiling to make it into 2 seperate transaction in order for me to use all the coupon at one time 🙂

I always get renuzit 2 in 1 yesterday my husband had coupons for renuzit they are less and have no smell the 2 in 1 last a long time and I can smell it till it is gone.
why did you change the look of renutiz??I can’t open it. so I stopped buying them. why,why,why?

The renuzit coupons in the RP from 9/7 (not 9/8) ARE Dollar General coupons. So, it wouldn’t help to try to use additional Dollar General coupons with it
