Hi – this is off topic, but has anyone has issues at Walgreens not taking P&G coupons? I tried to buy 2 always pads and use 2 $1 off coupons, but they said P&G was giving them trouble about coupons and would only accept 1 coupon per transaction even tho the coupons said 1 coupon per purchase! I called Walgreens CS and they agreed with me but the manager would not accept it so I could not get both with one 50% off sale.
i used 4 PG coupons today (limit 4 on coupon) at Walgreens. No problems. Same yesterday- various PG items – 3 different Walgreens, no problems. I wonder what’s up?!
I had issues on Sunday using the $1/1 & $1/2 Kellogg’s IPs on 4 boxes of cereal. The cashier told me I could either use the $1/2 or one! $1/1 since its 1 coupon per purchase. I looked at him like ‘say whaa?” I shook my head and said yeah, one per purchase, I am purchasing 4, so 1 coupon for this box, 1 coupon for this box and 1 coupon applies to these 2 boxes. The guy behind be bust out laughing. The cashier got uncomfortable and called another cashier over, who tried to tell me I can only use 1 coupon .period. for the 4 boxes. So I said why does the coupon say Limit 4 per transaction? Do you understand what “per purchase” and “per transaction” even mean?
I will admit I was getting aggravated and took on a nasty tone, but by gawd, why do these cashiers have to make everything so difficult? So the 2nd cashier said, well lets see if they beep. As if it were a challenge! Nope, all 3 went through. What I thought was soo funny though, was I coulda sworn the cashier wasn’t going to take the coupons b/c they say “redeemable at Walmart” on them. But when he bust out he could only take 1 coupon, I knew it was gonna go downhill!
As I was walking out, I was thinking this is the reason I stopped shopping Walgreens months ago. But they sure lure you back in!
Just a heads up- the RR would only print today on the price after coupons. Luckily the manager at my store was super helpful and forced it to print by ringing up three products, and then voiding it.
mine printed for 20 pre coupon, 17 after.
Are u saying the nexus deal at walgreens was yesterday only?
I haven’t ever tried, but I am guessing from all comments, Walgreens and Target will take the coupon even though it says you can only redeem at Walmart?
Mine says “Redeemable at Walmart” not “Redeemable Only at Walmart”
this coupon will make for a good deal at Publix this week as their Nexxus products are 30% off and the smaller 5 oz bottle of shampoo was included in the sale. 30% off price was $3.88 so it will only be .88 after this great coupon!
