If you are an existing member with the same american express card they won’t let you extend.. or at least me.
I was able to extend mine with my existing amex.
I have a AMEX card directly from AMEX, not an affiliate, and it would not extend mine.
Ann, contact ShopRunner and they will put in a ticket to manually extend your membership.
I have a bankofamerica – american express card, should it work fine or i have to have the proper american express card.

I have the same card like yours but it says I was ineligible. Tried again with my Macy’s American Express card, says i was ineligible too. Too bad!

Woo Hoo – sounds like a good deal to me! Wish there were more online stores I shopped at though. Petsmart was about the only one I saw that I might buy something from. But who knows…maybe they will be add more stores!

I could not get it to give me an extension. I had previously added my AMEX. No option to extend.

I can’t tell if it automatically extended my account or not. I already had an AMEX card on the account — I know I signed up in 2011 for a year, then got an automatic one-year extension free. Now it’s showing my membership is good through Jan. 2014. Maybe it was going to end this January — it doesn’t seem to have a way to see your membership history so I’m not sure if I should try another AMEX card before the May deadline or not. Oh well, it was good to be reminded about the service…especially as I do my holiday shopping.
Actually, it’s showing it’s good until January 2015, so it must have extended it automatically since my qualifying card was on file. Strange it didn’t give any sort of message though. I have used the service a few times, mostly on PetSmart items I couldn’t find in my local store or that I wanted shipped for the holidays last year.
