It appears that Office Depot has marked down their hardcover clearance books (with regular retail prices of $14.95+!) to just $1-$3 each! Keep in mind that these books may not be marked, so be sure to price check to see if they’re on sale.

Hi, Colin! I snagged a deal at Office Depot that is too good not to share! My husband and I both have the Wrapp app. You can often give $5 to a friend and have them give it to you as well to spend at Office Depot. We took our daughter with us on Saturday, and all of their books regularly priced at $7.99 were on clearance for $2. All of the books regularly priced at $5.99 were on clearance for $1. These are good quality hard back children’s books that have regular retail prices of $14.95, $15.95, and $16.95 printed on the book covers. We snagged 5 books that were completely free with the $5 on Wrapp. We didn’t even have to pay tax. Over $77 worth of books completely free is definitely worth sharing with my fellow hipsters!! Just a warning the books pictured may not come up for 1.00. I went our office depot and only 1 book was marked for a dollar. My brother works at office depot and said the books were not marked down that much. Must just be select stores and select titles. I would call before making a trip.

I saw a sign at my store that said the $2.99 books were 73 cents but I wasn’t sure about the others. I took 8 books of various prices to the assistant manager who was on a register. I asked him to check the prices & that I was just interested in the clearance books. Two rang up $1 & two were 73 cents, but he said I could have the other 4 that were regular price for 73 cents each! What a nice surprise! Of course I actually made a special trip to this store for this deal & decided to finally pick up some printer ink that was low/out…and that was $55, so they made a real sale on me today too. Fair enough!
