[h2s_box]Here’s what a few Hip2Save readers have had to say about this promotion…

Thanks got mine for only $15.65 nobody can beat that! The ones that I have right now cost$198!

My current pair of glasses came from Coastal.com. I’ve had them for over a year and they still look new. I would highly recommend giving them a try!

The customer service was fantastic for me. I wasn’t really crushed on the first pair I ordered, just didn’t like how they looked on me, so I called customer service. They sent me a prepaid box to ship them back and refunded my money. I ended up getting a different pair I also liked (and they still let me get those free), and they’re a great look.

My husband got his pair and he loves them! They are actually nicer than the ones he got at the eye doctor and a lot cheaper!

I have used Coastal.com the last two times for my new glasses. My insurance won’t pay for hardware, so it all falls on me! I got two pairs last month while they were having the 30% off sale for $180.60…and one pair I got was D&G! I am absolutely in love with them, not to mention I paid about half what I usually do for ONE pair, much less two!!!! :) Oh, and now all the lense upgrades are free (Crisal, antiglare, all the goodies. Not progressive or transition though!)

I got a pair for my boyfriend for Christmas last year. He does not have insurance and already has to pay for his contacts and so when he had gone to the eye doctor and his prescription had changed he could not afford to buy a new pair of glasses on top of buying the contacts. So he was just going to use his old glasses when he needed to. But with this, he now has the right pair of glasses and he is so happy with them.[/h2s_box]

I used Coastal to buy glasses for the first time during their Memorial Day sale. My glasses are way too strong to qualify for free ones 🙂 but I got a great deal! I paid $70 for a pair of glasses. I usually have to shell out hundreds. I’m pretty blind. I am very happy with my glasses. They arrived quickly and are great quality.

Can you get the thin lenses for a reasonable price? I have -7.5 and -8 lenses so I usually pay an extra $80 at the eye doc to get the lenses thinned.

      • Valerie H

My prescription is -4.5. I did get the thinner lenses and paid a bit more for them. But they are quite light and thin.

      • Not Sure I Will Order...

@ Summer – my RX is in the -6.00 range and when I plugged my RX in @ Coastal as if I was ordering the thinnest lenses a qualifying frame would cost me $80 shipped. Still debating… A few months ago I ordered from another online company and the lenses give me horrible headaches, can’t wear them at all…money down the drain.

Hey everyone, wrapp offers a first pair free coupon code/claim offer, but the unique code that they give you works on all the ones that are normally first pair free and the rest of them. I was. I got a pair of D&G glasses for 19.99 shipped even though they are not normally categorized as first pair free.

    • klokieb

Hi V, would you care to share which one you got? i’m looking for a nice frame as well, for this price this would be perfect, thank you in advance!

  3. The New Mrs. Rowe

V, I can’t find it on Wrapp. Was this a long time ago? Thanks

    • V

It’s still there. It’s under the third tab under the featured bar. If you move the offers to the side, after Victoria secret and chocomize, there is a coastal first pair free one.

  4. Betsy

What if you don’t like the style of glasses? I need new glasses, but am concerned I won’t like them once I try them on.

    • annad

They have a great return policy they even paid for the shipping and let me keep the extra case and glasses tool it came with

  5. V

If you still can not find it or need someone to give it to you. You can always friend Eugenides king on Facebook and I will share/give it to you.

  6. Cara

I just read in Reader’s Digest that glasses.com has an app that lets you upload a 3D model of your face (and guides you through doing that with photos), allows you to have 5 pairs of glasses sent to you to try on and then you send back the ones you don’t like. I haven’t tried it yet but as soon as I get my new prescription I’m going to!

  7. Des

For some reason they wanted to charge me $55 for the glasses + shipping just because one prescription is higher than the other. That doesn’t seem right, if glasses + lenses are free then I should only have to pay for shipping.

  8. Resha

I just bought my mom a pair of glasses, which were originally $167.95, but after putting in the offer code it came to 79.95. I was expecting it to be around $20-30, but I saved about 80 buck so I’m not complaining!

  9. Molly

I’ve used Coastal scents before and I like them, but I prefer zenni optical. They have a ton of $6 frames with $6 flat shipping. I’ve never had a bad experience with coastal or Zenni. It’s so nice to have options for cheap glasses for different occasions.

    • Christine

Thank you so much for sharing about Zenni. I had never heard of them before. Even with this Coastal deal my husband’s glasses with shipping were going to be $60. On Zenni, I am able to get a pair (even with thinned lenses) for $20 including shipping! You just saved me $40 with your comment….so thanks again! 🙂

    • andrea

I also ordered from Zenni instead. Thanks so much for mentioning it. Wish I could have gotten any of the promo codes to work, but even without it was $20 cheaper than coastal and I get 5% cash back from Shop at Home.

  10. Rochelle

My husband and I both need new glasses. Would we both be eligible for the free frames if we create our own, separate, accounts? Or would it recognize that it’s the same address? Has anyone tried?

  11. Anisa

Rochelle,, use different emails & place the order seperately.

  12. DANIELLE

OMG IT WORKED!! PAYED $19. THANKS SO MUCH COLLIN! IVE BEEN NEEDING NEW GLASSES TOO!! VERY GRATEFUL!

  13. Christie

    Scored…FREE…$17.49 for S&H! 🙂

  14. andrea filkins

How do you opt out of the packages? They add to my total and I can’t figure out how to unselect them. Without those the cost would only be shipping and handling
