Target: Possibly 70% to 90% Off Halloween Clearance
Just a heads up for all you Target shoppers! I have heard reports from many readers that select Target locations have started to reduce all their Halloween clearance to as much as 90% off! If items are not marked, be sure to price check. Here are just a few of the Target Halloween clearance emails that readers have sent my way….

Went to Target this morning to check Halloween clearance once again. Food and candy still at 50% off, but costumes, decor, accessories, etc were ringing up at 90% off. There were no signs up so I price checked everything. Got Monsters Inc, Cars and Disney Princess plush baskets for $0.80, treat bags for $0.19, a wreath for $2.00, dog collars for $0.69 (to be donated to animal shelter), kids tees for $1.20 and tons of other great things for under $1.00. Hoping food items go down soon too.

I stopped in Target tonight and they had 70% off all remaining costumes, decorations, pumpkin carving kits, etc. And, 50% off all Halloween candy and food items. I snagged costumes for two of my boys next year at just $6 and $9 each! They’ll likely end up wearing them for dress-up throughout the year as well as for Halloween. Our Target had a HUGE selection of costumes left, from baby sizes up to adults!

I went to target today to look at clearance. The signs still said 30%-50% off. The candy rang up at 50%, but everything else ran up at 90%. I got some amazing deals. Window cling 20 and 30 cents, 17 cent cups, 99 cent pillows and aprons, and so much more.

(Thanks, Dana, Brooke, Amanda and Beth!)
I was able to score some lego packs under $1.50 the other day! My son was pumped. Also a few costumes for my daughter for Christmas since shes in the dress up phase. 😉
I just came back from my Target. There was nothing as nice as what others seem to have gotten. Tons of candy corn & really junky stuff. My Target had such a small Halloween section anyways. The holiday section used to be bigger before they added the grocery section.
only 50% off at my target 🙁 … maybe tomorrow…
90% off in Lakeland, Fl but hardly anything left.
I’m in Lakeland, too! Did you hit north or south?
My Target was up to 90%! My favorite find was 42 cent dog treats!

I was in Frisco, TX today and they had 90% off. I found LED night light for $.69. I also found cookie mold pans that are regularly $11.99, but were ringing up as $1.19. I found them with the food that was still only 50% off on a bottom shelf. I got some of the push in pumpkin decorations (Hello Kitty and Angry Birds) and paid $.70 each. I had picked up the Halloween Barbie doll for 70% off a couple days ago so I got the matching costume for $3. Selection was pretty limited (only size Large boy costumes for the most part) and one person had a whole cart full, but I’m happy with the bargains I found. 🙂
Does anybody know the North Dallas area?
I don’t have Target but my Walmart had everything 75% off. I got 5 costumes, 2 wigs, 2 makeup sets, 6 glow sticks and 7 bags of candy for $35. Not to shabby!

The Target near Colonial Park in Harrisburg, PA was at 90% today, but the one in High Pointe Crossing was still at 50%. Weird! They were both majorly picked over, but I did get two $40 costumes for next year for $4 each! And some foam craft kits for the kids.

I am thrilled since my kids love to play dress up these are great Christmas gifts!
I wait until 90% to stock up for the each of next year’s holidays (Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas) and it DRIVES ME CRAZY that our local stores all have different clearance prices. I live where 3 zipcodes are very very close so when one store goes to 90% the other 2 stores are still only at 70%. During summer clearance I went at 8PM one night and everything was at 70%, I went back the next morning at 8AM and although the clearance went to 90% the staff had cleared out nearly all the shelves. Even though the deals can be amazing, I just wish they’d all have the same percentages at each store!!!!
I got a few halloween baby body suit and wears for as low as $1.5 from fremont store
As of yesterday stores in Raleigh were still at 70% and they were already clearing stuff out for xmas… That was in knightdale, wake forest, and triangle town center
Was at Target in Bethel,CT food is 50% and other stuff was 90%. We picked up warm striped tights and funky socks for myself and my daughter for .49 cents t-shirts for .59 cents! great little Hello Kitty tutu for $1.49! We didn’t really look at costumes- b/c I like to make them- but what a great score!
I found 90% off – got pumpkin carving kits for $.40 for a school project next year!
would love to hear from anyone in Newark, Delaware..
Not Target, but my Walmart had a small selection of Halloween things 75% off. I bought “Halloween” baking cups for $0.45, while the similarly shaped non-Halloween baking cups were $1.88.
ShopKo had their Halloween @ 75 % off today-
i picked up lots of stuff at mine at 90% off. LOTS of Lego Star Wars bagged sets and Witch Head bagged sets at 90% off, so only 0.49 and 0.29 cents each. I picked up all I could see, then I was chatting with a lady picking up costumes and mentioned the Lego. I happily gave her a couple of bags for her nephew – pay it forward I say! Also got a couple of pillows, the cookie tray someone mentioned above, spiderweb packs, some doodads for boo buckets (our neighbourhood does this every year, such fun!) and some items that will be stocking stuffers.
which lego?
tons of stuff left at our north anchorage store. costumes were 90% off today while the signs still said 70%. everything else was 50% and signs reflected that correctly.
The two stores I visited in MN (Edina & Richfield) were still at 70% and largely picked over. None of the awesome stuffed mentioned above.
Spartanburg, SC at 90%! I snagged TONS of boys’ costumes! Also – don’t forget to check the baby/toddler/boys clothing section for Halloween clothes. I got two outfits for my baby and even found some pumpkin PJs all 90% off as well 🙂
we barely have ANYTHING left at ours and it’s still only 50% off :[ maybe i’ll have better luck on christmas leftovers

Merrifield (VA) had the two-pack of Halloween Bounty paper towels for 90% off–$0.29 each!
Agh…I called Manchester CT and Dayville CT stores this morning who both said 50/70 which it’s been since Saturday. I feel signs may have been wrong and that’s all they were going by. Hope I didn’t miss out on 90%.
The Waterford store was marked down to 90% last night for costumes and pumpkin kits.
Enfield is at 90! Very little left over…lots of food at 50% my daughter loves Pirates Booty popcorn, so I stocked up! Lots of brownie/cookie mixes. No paper goods…
Lisbon was 90/70 this morning. Lots of dog costumes, a few kids, some regular clothes and a bunch of non chocolate candy. They also had a ton of snowmen 2 pack puffs tissues that are ringing up 90% off as .29…
I went yesterday and got two Pillsbury Halloween bake mixes for a total of .56 cents! I got the sugar cookie and the cake/cupcake mix pair it with the target coupon for $1.00 any two Pillsbury baking items and it made it .23/each.
Yesterday I went to the local target to check out their mark downs and there was a lady in the Halloween clearance isle who had 3 carts full of just the mark down things. I was confused on to how I should feel about it, whether to be angry that she dint leave anything good for me to pick from or call her a smart women….. :-//
I went to 2 different Targets. Last night there wasn’t a lot left but, I got 2 of the Just For You Halloween pajamas for $1.49 and a Great Pumpkin Patch t-shirt for .90. I was able to find some bat girl headbands for I believe .49 and some spider webs for .30.
The one I went to today had candy @ 70% off, but I couldn’t find anything else anywhere! They had all of this candy in their food section so I know they had to put the costumes and what not somewhere else. I was able to snag some Count Chocula bars for .79 and various bags of candy for .89 and .79. I was hoping to find some costumes, but I won’t be able to go to a different one until Friday and I’m sure it will be long gone by then!
Mine was 90% off I don’t have any kids so I got my dogs a bunch of costumes. I also found lots of cute stuff like baking cups and even a ghost baking pan for .99c lots of things for thanksgiving too for .10 cent it used to be in the dollar section. I had a fun day (:

Yes its true halloween items are officially INF! I’m so bummed because I just learned yesterday about finding hidden clearance items throughout the store and was planning on hitting up more targets today (I have 4 targets within a15-20 min radius of my home) first one I went to today I realized that halloween had been pulled and after searching the christmas dept and finding a set of philips skull led light set was sad to scan and see those 3 words INF, thankfully my cashier called over a nice supervisor who gladly honored the 90% discount after telling him I had just purchased the same sets the day before at that price. This was my first season trying out to score these 90% discounts I had been hearing so much about and I really had so much fun and was able to score so much awesome merch for next halloween. I learned the tricks about searching each isle for hidden clearance and even things like searching through the christmas department! You would be surprised at how much decor I found mixed in with christmas. One store even had the philips LED light up ghost, owl, and pumpkin sculptures mixed right in with reindeers and polar bears lol ( all of these rung up at $4.50 each btw! They still have the ghost full price online! Then I realized that anything “philips” in a purple box would scan at 90% and every single store I visited had atleast one or more lightsets mixed in with regular xmas sets. My biggest tip that I can offer you guys is that if you are lucky enough to live near a target in a “downtown/urban” area this will be your best chance at scoring the most/best goods. The target I visited is extremely unorganized and the employees seem to not care about standards at all which ends up being good for us because you literally can find stuff in almost every aisle of the store, employees were actually still unpacking boxes of halloween on the floor during 90%! Also in these downtown areas most people live in high rises and dont have room for these kinds of things and also alot of single people living in these areas with no need for many seasonal items. I know this was a long post but hope it helps for next time! All in all I spent about $160.00 total in the 4 stores I visited, needless to say $1600 in merchandise takes up quite a bit of room
I found one child’s skeleton apron but I need two. If anyone has one to sell I would appreciate it. Please pm me Thank you!
I was at the Target at the Quarry in Minneapolis, MN this morning around 11 AM. Halloween food items were 70% off and everything else was 90%. They had a lot of costumes. 2 young guys came in and started grabbing everything. When I left they had 4 carts full of stuff. I heard one tell the other to grab all the infant stuff because that stuff really goes. They were respectful if you were looking at something but as soon as you moved they just swooped in and grabbed everything. It was really something. One of them said they should have brought more carts. So do you think they will be selling this online next Halloween or setting up a shop next year. I mentioned it to the clerk when I checked out and she was surprised, she thought there would be a limit you could buy . She notified her supervisor who probably told her that Target doesn’t care who buys it they just want it gone so they can fill the shelves with Christmas items.
